By the time the PS3 does come out, gas prices will be so high that it's price will be 25-30% higher than predicted due to increased shipping costs, and no one will be able to afford it, because they have to spend so much more on gas getting back and forth to work, where they make the same amount as they did when gas was $1.50/gallon and everyone thinks they're the next to go becasue the company can't afford to pay anyone with the increased cost of EVERYTHING due to gas at $3.00/gallon.

Sorry been ranting on that all day.

Thanks GW!! (and I'm a Republican)

One, they can charge $5 a gallon and it wont affect the price. The actual figure from that is so small itcost more money to figure it in to the expenses then to add it to the divisions misc expenses in the end.

Two, I cant believe you kiddies. You need to have more money to drive then gas money. You should have car payments, insurance payments and gas, not counting personal expenses for fixing it up. Get some independence, get a job and be proud to buy your own stuff.

Well I can say one thing, and that our gas prices are heaven compared to most other continents in the world.

So we shouldnt be complaining too much.

Dirges:

1. My mom is giving me her old car so i dont need to pay for car payments.

2. My parents got my insureance...i offered but they insist.

3. Gas is a pain cuz it cost alot...especially in my Mountaineer which has horrible gas mileage.

Car = mucho dinero and does not always = a good thing

Public Transportation =$2 a trip with one transfer unless purchasing unlimted. Monthly pass = $90
90x12= $1080

Car 95 Mercury Sable
$30 gas per week (average)
$790 Car Insurance (annual based on good credit and immaculate driving record)and this will be alot more for your kiddies
$1100 Parking tickets (never any parking in NYC) Annual
$300 maintenance annual (tune ups, repairs, oil changes) approx.
and dont forget tolls, bridges, and other various minor expenses
($30x52)+ $790 + $1100 + $300 = $3750 annually Approx.

My advise? Take the bus.

Try my job and saying that. I don t know what state I will be in next week let alone if they even have public transportation. But then again I live in a city of over 400,000 that does not have any public transportation system so that doesnt even work on a local level. We have cabs but it is cheaper to drive your self then take those.

Plus driving myself means I can get milk and perishables in the fridge before they are bad. That walk home turns it all to mush.

Sony has just released the name of there first MMORPG for the ps3 Endless sage.

Also there may be a age of empires mmorpg for a pc/console soon also it's in development.

And gameinformer had a real small article saying Ps3 will be released at 399. But Xbox 360 is coming out with 2 models console and console/HD cheaper in long run to buy the console/HD so Ps3 might also split up the package.

Never have been a fan of Age of empires so I will be skipping that.

As far as buying without the HD, it depends on how it is set up, if I can just throw a PC HD in it wouldnt be a bad idea. Makes for easy modding

Eh was a very small article in gameinformer. They just announced that the developer is making a mmorpg so speculation is age of empires. But they could go a different way, best thing to do would be to go to the developers website for more information.

If they sell the HD seperatly and it is cross compatible with normal HD then it would be cheaper in the long run to purchase seperatly. But if you choose to get all the accesseries seperatly it will cost you more in the long run.

AoE kicked *** back in the day for computer games, I also enjoyed Command an Conquer games back then too though. Guess I just kind of liked strategy games.

Anyways hey murrun, 6500 posts!!!

Why thats important? No reason, just thought Id point it out the number looks cool.

most people aren't looking to buy a mini computer, they're looking for a gaming console. If sony does release ps3 as a mini computer, and prices it along the same lines they'll lose a lot of their customers that were in it for gaming, not checking your email

Not true, computers are the ultimate gaming systems, and if people wanted a system just for gaming the GC would be number one.

I've played CC since the first one came out on N64 (it was originally for PC) and since then I have played them all, and like em. Never played the FPS they made though. AoE just kinda annoyed me, you had to have workers and farmers and an army and fields and town halls and military buildings, then when your done building you have to send some little unit all the way around the world to either find some little artifact, or find the enemy base because if you didn't, itd take forever for him to get you, he was busy with his farms and town halls and peasants and military buildings.

In CC you made an ore harvester, and a few military buildings, pumped out some units and if you were lucky if you hadn't been attacked before you finished everything. If you moved as slow as me anyway.. I made full on zerges so as long as I hand my ore harvester going and my buildings weren't down I pretty much pwn'd everyone.

AoE sucked for you the CPU only does that on very easy and easy. Wait till you try hard, forget farming and exploring within first minutes of game you gotta protect yourself from invasions and bombs and aliens, its tuff out there

I only played like.. the second one, there were no bombs or aliens. I always play it on easy, cause I never owned it myself and got good at it. Still bored the **** outta me. I don't think I'd wanna play and MMO where I have the option to be a farmer.

Farmer (max lvl 60)

MC - 1337 Plowist

mca - plow for the king!

- Allows you to plow over an enemy battle unit if he somehow gets onto your field and has less than 2 hp, 0 armor, 0 attack

mca - eat

- Lets you make food that you can eat so you can regain hp that you would never lose in the first place
