Melee or caster?

Out of all the melee classes, which is the best DD? and Are melee DD as good as caster DDs? I was just wondering because I had a 30 bard and when in group and fighting things that conned red to him, he barely did any damage with his normal hits, and netiher does my rogue... with their abilites they are ok.. i guess lol.. idk, maybe i didnt build them right - i always fill guilty and add tps to agi and sta, instead of making them true DDs and sticking with offense.. anyway lol, is a melee DD and comparison to a caster?

With bards you add agi stam str and dex

But if there a deep red mob you wont do as much damage as a lower level mob.

Wizards and alcs do the most damage out of anybody then monks/rogues then rangers/bards and mages and necs fit in there somewhere not including pets.

No, I wasn't talking about a Bard specifically, just a melee in general. I know that if its deep red you won't do that much damage, but it seems like in general melee does less than caster.. and which is the best DD a melee or caster. And out of the melee which is the best - rogue, ranger, or monk?

There is no best each one is different
I already said wizards and alcs do more damage then rogues and monks then rangers bards.

A ranger with hunter MC gets probally the most powerful single spell in the game true shot

Rogues do great damage cant take a hit for ****
Monks do great damage can take a hit
Rangers do good damage and can take a hit
Bards are gods

There is no best each toon has a specific role they play. Casters generally have way less hp then any other toon due to there massive damage, Melee do less damage then a caster generally minus enc cause they suck but have a higher hp.

there just isnt a best play em all find what you like dont be a tool and play what others tell you

There really isnt any right and wrongs. Some people wont see it that way though so you might have to prove your worth.
