Raging Rhino'sFollow

Where are the charmable ones? I know there are level 46-47 RR's, but where in The Hunt are they? I saw 3 over by the slayer camp, but those were a little too high of a level.

Also, I have heard conflicts on this... Is Cha a modifier for charming on a druid? Or is it only on the Enchanter? I have heard both...can anyone clarify that for me?

Charisma is the mod on ALL charms, (Necro's CM Undead charm, Druids CM Charm, Bards 51cm Charm, Enc Charm) It only affects the duration of the charm.

My wife first charmed a rr at lvl 54, Died a coule of times before she got it charmed. (She's a noob)

a trick of spotting rhinos is there are two sizes first off. the bigger ones are lvl50-54, the smaller ones are 46-49. they are both scattered around the hunt. so you have to get the samller ones, and with that you still only have a 50/50 chance of getting a 46-47 rhino. as far as the cha is considered i am still in the process of figureing that one out. i've have been at the rhinos for about a week swapping gear around, seing what is the cha break point for my bard. problem is for me i don't have a spotter so i don't know if i am attempting on a rhino "of" level. oh the frustration.....

my enc was able 2 charm rr at 48- best spot i have found for charmable one's is by the ne slayer camp-gl

Well I dont think you are making a full connection to what he is saying. If you try to charm it and its uncharmable you would die anyway. No enchanter is going to survive a crit from a raging rhino. So if you run up and it sees through invis then atleast you know not to try it again. If it doesnt see through invis but your charm fails atleast you know that one is possible to charm so you try again. The business of charming raging rhinos is a dangerous one but is very rewarding.

obviosuly you can't forget that finding the exact spot of a RR that is charmable isn't 100% reliable. rhino's die and respawn

Hell yes... I got my first Raging Rhino last night, and only died once. The invis thing does work well.

Granted, I had 100 hp left when I charmed the basterd, but I got him!

Then I wanted to kill a snapping turtle over there because I can never solo those LB mobs .... wow what an underconned turtle! So I put my RR to use and attacke done. HOLY CRAP!! it was still a 10 minute fight!! Those dam turtles are friggin sweet!!

Anyways, just wanted to share that with ya. Finally got a little of a big head and killed some of those Ancient Manticores, then one spawned on me and I ended up dying. Oh well, at least I finally got a RR!!!

Thanks! After I died of course I had to try it again, and well, it didnt go to well the second time..lol!!! I died a few times more and achieved max debt for the very first time in my EQOA life. 45.5 mill debt!! Wow, but was one of the funnest nights I have had on EQOA. I never knew max debt could be so much fun! Doing things you wouldnt normally do. I cant wait to get on tonight. LOL! I think I will go to the top of the Kappa Castle and mess around. Me and Zata were working on the 53 Kerra quest last night when all this was happening. Of course he got the max debt too! LOL. My RR pounded that shaman i needed for the quest, then I just went balistic!.. So much fun, so little time, wish I didnt have to work this morning or I would've stayed on for a few more hours.

Well grats thig glad you finally got a RR. They're best for xpin with and yes the snakes in kappa temple.

Next time you want to get a rhino send me a tell I'll take the crits for ya and even get max debt with ya.
