Okay after playing for a bit, and reading posts on sites and asking in-game i have come up with tips for each archetype. This is kind of a question of what else i should know.

Tanks:
• Agro
• -Keep 3, Or Atleast 2 Taunts out.
• Know your Camps
• -Learn if you need to; Bow Pull, Body Pull or Taunt Pull
-Watch other Tanks at that Camp and see how they perfer to Pull, Use their Mana ECT.
• Speed
• -Chain Pull
-Have someone ML For you. Don't waste time looting. Groups want fast pulls.
-The speed of XP Is all up to you. Your part is to get the mob to the group fast.
-Run to the Camp to pull another once the mob starts running.
• Control your Mana
• -Don't over due your specials. Save a good amount incase you need to taunt alot.
-Decide on If your battery (If you have one) is allowing you to use all your mana.
• Smart With Gear
• -Get High Durr Armour
-Bring 2 Sets of Full Armour.
-Bring 2 or 1 Sets of Weps. Whatever you have enough money for.
• Damage Sheilds

• -First off, tell the Druid/Mage if you don't want one
-If you have one on, you probably won't be able to root during a tight situation, so tell the Group you have to SoW Up and Run instead of Rooting.
---
Healers:
• Know your Tank
• -Is he good enough for a lower level heal?
-Can he keep enough agro for you to be able to use Nukes, Debuffs, DoTs ECT?
• Control your Mana
• -If you only have 2Blues of Mana Less, Do nothing but Heal.
-Decide if you're going to chaincast or cast every so often, You may run OOM To much to ChainCast.
• Smart Gear
• -Highest AC Gear As Possible, Healers pull lots of Agro
-Max Cha at Higher levels,Get Cha High at Low Leves, but not too high. Maxing at Low Levels is bad Idea Because you will Pull Too much Agro.
---
Melees:
• Unleashing Specials
• -Don't unleash until your tank has taunted some.
-Save some Specials that have longer recast so the mob can't run for that long.
• Smart with Gear
• -Bring 2 Sets of 2 Weapons (Unless you're 1 - 19, then bring 2 sets of one weapons)
-High Durr is Best, Depending on how long you usually have to play.
---
Casters:
Wizards:
• Abilities
• -Chain Cast(Keep two out)
-Keep Mana Spells Out
-If you have Battery, Keep your two strongest nukes out, if you have no battery keep medium nukes out
• Gear
• -Max Dex (Strongest DD In game, Max will help)
-High AC As possible. I know you get low AC Gear, just get the best you can.
Petters:
• Pets
• -Learn to control your pet, especially during roots (Learn Passive, Neutral, Agressive ECT)
-Learn your situation. Are you Grinding? Raiding? Soloing? Farming? Use the appropriate Pet (Mages that is)
• Spells
• -Chain Cast. Though it is not as important with Pets, stil ChainCast.
Alc:
• Power and PoT
• -Low Mana
-High PoT
• Spells
• -You should be using your Potions for the most part
-Nuke every so often, no chain cast at all.
-In a Tough Situation, Chain Cast + Go all out with your potions it could easily to the most damage (Besides HT, Spite ECT) to save your group.
-Draughts! Use them to bring back mana. Watch your health though, droughts take away life and can kill you causing Debt.
• Bards and Ench's
• -If one is in your group, make sure you aren't getting their buffs. They mess up your draughts.
-Mana Necros Buffs From What i hear Won't mess you up. Never tried though (Don't have an Alc) But i know when i group with Alcs they try hard not to get my buffs.
---
Mana-Batterys:
• Mana Spells
• -For bards, you should chain between your two path buffs.
-For enchs, ask who needs the mana the most. If there is more than one here is who i think needs it the most in order(IMO): Healers, Tanks, Casters, Melees.
• Damage
• -You are still a DD. You are not there just to make mana.
-But remember; You are still considered the weakest DD of each archetype (Bards weakest melee, Enchs weakest Casters).
---
To all:
• Bad Situations

• -Decide if you are Rooting or Running
-Decide if there is a group memeber who has long recast attacks/heals (Pally, SK, Chosens, ECT) They could use instead of running/Rooting
• Who gets What Loot

• Tanks: Stacks
Melees: Non-Stacks
Casters/Healers: Remaining Non-Stacsk
Also Remember NB4G (Need before Greed, give rares to whoever belongs to)
And split gems to whatever type of crafter your group members are
• CMing

• -It is best not to CM at certain times. Here is when certian
Archetypes shouldnt:
Tanks: Just Before new Taunt
Healers: Just Before new Heal
Mana-Batterys: Just Before new Mana-Buff
Also: CMing right before any new spell isn't good either. Unless you don't care much about the Spell.
• Mana
• -Always have a satisfying amount of drinks for how long you are going to XP.
-When you have 1Blue mana tell the rest of the group that you are OOM just incase the tank makes a mistake.

Anything else i should add? I am trying to make a great grouping guide. GL With Grouping.

Very good post, but I will add some things for you.

Healers should use their DoTs, Casts, and Debuffs as much as they can, until as you said they get below 2 bars of power. They are their to do dmg also.

Healers can also Master Loot.

For Petters, you should only chain cast, or cast, if you have a pet in the group that has tuant or can just hold aggro really well. You don't want the mob to come after you in a pet group.

You should as a mana regen, ALWAYS have mana buffs up and use them as he said, right after another. Donnot hesitate, because people dont like it if you take time buffing. And Yes, most importantly, Mana Batteries are there to Do DMG, so do it!

Nothing else I can think of extra, and again, very well made post...you catch on quick.

You need to clarify your melee, you say 2 weapons, it really should be 2 sets of weapons. You may also want to hint at high dur weapons as well, they help lower repair costs, and last a lot longer.

You may also want to add guide lines for alcs since they dont fall into your normal casters or pet casters categories. I would also call normal casters wizards since that is who you are talking about.

I have a question...

Where I am a tank, if there is a petter in my group with a pet that holds good aggro, do I let the pet keep aggro or try and peel it off of it?
I usually try to keep aggro so the petter doesn't lose his pet in a battle, am I doing it right?

always try to keep aggro from a pet, unless other wise told not to., If you dont you run the risk of not being able to regain aggro from the petter if the pet dies.

Nice post indeed Sin.

To the most extent you are correct here.

The only thing I do since my main is a Mage, is if you have the mob on you, and you have a water pet out, I'd keep him around to heal you as tanks/DD's are trying to pull off aggro.

Also its pretty handy for petters to have a strong earth pet out just incase they do pull aggro so they might be able to get aggro onto pet instead.

Just some suggestions I've found useful in my groups.

u should have a special section for bards b/c they are one of the wierdest and fun classes IMO. if built right u can be a healer, mana battery,dd and buffer

-my tip is to start out raising dex/str so u can do some good dmg but not 2 high so that u lose aggro

-always keep ur best anthem up

-save your blade attacks til its almost dead and buy the cms to reduce the down time

-use the artful, nimble and the other when your killing the mob

-and my final bit of advice, NEVER USE YOUR HoT SPELL IN A GRIND WHEN THE TANK IS ALMOST DIEING IT SCREWS UP THE FIRST TICK OF THE HEALERS HEAL

This is true for all melees, not just bards.

If the healer is waiting till the tenk is almost dead to heal, it is time to get a new healer. If the tank is about to die without a heal on them I am going to assume the healer is about to DC and my heal can only help keep them longer hopefully till the mob is dead, or if not ensure I have aggro so I can run the mob off and keep the group alive.
