Gay tank n00b hlr...Follow

I agree with everyone pretty much...I hate group booting...unless it is a something that just cannot be resolved...

If it was in an ordering manner...then I understand that groups frustration...people who normally insist on master looting do usually have an agenda...not saying you did...you dont sound like you did...but I seriously would consider taking it off as a hotkey...or change the hotkey to "who is master looting...I would be happy to" that's just a suggestion to keep from sounding less demanding since tones are hard to tell in type...

to me..I dont care who master loots as long as someone does...but more and more I know the people I am grouping with as it seems to be a smaller community towards the deep end of the level pool...so more often I know the person looting...

but I do agree with the healer maybe focused on the tank...but I really dont think it necessary to say they shouldnt loot...there are many capable healers out there that multitask...the only reason I could think of that the melee maybe should do more of the looting would be to make the looting time smoother...I'll explain..

when you are looting you press the X correct? well if you arent up in the mix hitting...chances are you need the person who is to release the loot menu so you can loot...since normally it pops up to the last person pressing x...normally thats the melee or tank...I just figure if I am not up hitting as often..then I'm gonna let the melee do it....since he normally has the menu open and can loot it faster...

plus depending on the situation...or what the other chars are..they too might be focused elsewhere...I for one as an enchanter am constantly conning everyone and the mob...its hard to zap back to the mob to loot in mid buff...I can do it..but sometimes it takes a second...

and then sometimes everyone gets full fast and we just delegate looting to the person with the most inventory room...

anyways...it seems that group was already established...and the tank may have known the healer he wanted to master loot for him...he should have just said that...I dont know why people have to be so dramatic...lol and I would just advise scoping out the situation before insisting that you are the one that absolutely needs to master loot...I agree it could be better over all in some situations..but most of the time things are just fine with whoever loots...

I agree with Serenity, your hotkey could be phrased like a request to be the ML, although we don't know exactly what it said. As for getting booted, I think that group leader was acting like a little bytch...I mean how hard is it to say "okay, but I know the healer and want him to ML." Too much drama.

In your case, we wouldn't have booted you. We would tell you its our choice and you're not required to stay.

I do all the stack looting for my fiance who is a tank (tank/healer combo). As far as who should loot...I say the person who should loot is up to the tank since their the ones paying the most for repairs and I've seen them screwed over numerous times in groups (and then I've seen vice versa where they loot everything leaving nothing for anyone else).

Trust is a hard thing to come across in this game and you've gotta put your faith in the few you find not to ***** you over!

But if the tank doesn't have a preference I'm all for a melee looting, seems to just be a natural choice.

But for us...I loot stacks...less problems :)
