Ok my necro tired of trying to find a good group for Nash at 6 wants to slaughter the Frogloks making my undead pet rip open their guts out and make them undead forever MUWHAAHAHAHA... anyway seriously I think Guk is less popular in EQOA (Well now it isn't also in EQPC...) and I got a few questions:
Is Guk still the biggest dungeon in EQOA?
Is it a good idea to have good factions for the live ones so it'll be easier to hunt Undead or should I slaughter both?
Does it still have lots of the best loot?

Bump cause.... *Snif* the only regret I have for leaving EQPC is that I never got to check out Guk =( Well a little bit on my ranger... anyway it was cool. I beening a victim of the newbs in LoY time where you need twinks and all and everything... anyway the first time I went it there it was so cool... there were like small bloody pits, there were bunch of planks over pools of water and aligators, a huge cavern with fungus men, then lower guk.. never got too far but there was a trap where I almost died when I slipped and had to run up slowly. Groups of Live and Dead Frogloks... hold on getting map for it it was huge and if I only had some good equipment and better connection... holdon it was one of the biggest and used to be the scariest...

Guk is less popular in eqoa, though several of the 40+ qst send you there. I have never had a group that wanted to go there to xp, this doesnt mean people dont xp there, but I usually see farmers or questers there.
Guk is a good size dungeon, and can easily lose a person, but I cant say it is the biggest Vox castle seems to be the same size to me.
For the qsts having good faction does help since you can go most of the way down without risk of masses of frogs blocking your path. But I have never had one, once my faction droped to red face, pop invis except the fungusmen towards the bottom, and then it was only a slight chance of them seeing me.
As far as loot, you can get some good loot there. The best loot I found was the lvl 50 Aurabound glow shield off of a fungusman.

Vox castle isnt too bad if your group knows what they are doing, any carelessness can be a fatal mistake though. I remember going there at 40 with a buch of 50's, we got slaughtered so bad. But have since gone a few times for qsts, and with others and came out alive with little risk to the group, except the time a few people knew their way and left the group, boy they died quick.
gotta becarefull of wizzys and shamans...
