TBC still fun and challenging.Follow

Beats the hell outa playin Cataclysm endgame.

I never even got to Karazhan. Not until the next expansion when I went there with someone from the guild. Still one of my favorite dungeons of all time.

I only got through Karazhan when TBC content was current. Never stepped in the others, only did BT at 80 Really enjoyed it all though. Karazhan was a great entry raid.

TBC was fine, until WotLK stalled out and we got extra helpings of it. Some things are fine when they are first served, but become increasing annoying as left overs.

After something like two years of TBC I can't get through 60-68 fast enough. I suppose I may burn out on Cata as others (with a vociferousness rivaling a drunken buddy who just won't stop complaining about his ex) have, but for now if Blizz were to implement a "pay to skip this expansion" feature TBC would be first, second and third on my list.

Yeah, I much prefer Outlands to Northrend, but I'm sure if I had been stuck in TBC for an extra year and a half I'd be sick of it too.

Yeah but Sunwell at least seems like it was a better distraction than Ruby Sanctum. That only had one boss, while Sunwell had quite a few at least.

And my comment was in regards to Rhode and all other Chinese players having to wait for Blizz to get Wrath up to Chinese standsards.

We have a few of us that do a weekly run through MC for rep. A few more weeks and I'll have my Hydraxian Waterlords rep, and my 50 Exalted achievement.

I enjoy our guild runs through all the old raids.

Kara is, still, the best raid I ever set my foot on. Most fun I ever had with this game. Other raids pale in comparison, unfortunatelly.
Even more, since I was a feral druid and could off tank and dps.
Good times.

TBC still stands as my favorite expansion as well. I had a close-story to Bodhi with how he started out raiding in TBC (I raided a few times in Vanilla [AQ20 and ZG]), but I really jumped in head-first with TBC. The feeling of progression in craftables, gear/loot, etc made the game so much more rewarding than daily-heroic-of-the-lich-king, etc. Having completed every boss in TBC (pre-wotlk at 70) it was just an excellent trip, with some of the best/most memorable kills that I have experienced in this game.

Just to name a few:
- Our first kill on Leotheras the Blind was with our Spriest [who was the last one alive] SW:Death critted himself and Leo to kill himself and the boss (and it counted!)
- The progression of learning Kael'thas was just perfect, learning each phase and perfecting it and moving on to the next. Needing to use the legendaries, and orchestrate everything in a perfect fashion was phenomenal (my favorite fight by far).
- Our first kill of Vashj was a huge mess, kiting her around with the ground almost completely covered in goo, and then the screams of joy when we finally killed her... mmm.
- Illidan and Kil'Jaeden both get very honorable mentions, both fights had a very epic feeling to them, the phases and again the orchestration of each person being assigned to do things and then to do this 'just in case that person gets picked'.

Almost makes me want to play again... but then not, as wotlk and from what I have read/seen Cata doesn't compare.

TBC had the best PvP, too.

Pfft. I still do that. Never had an epic kill like that though. =x
