People use Org? Ever since the redesign, I vomit a little every time I see it.
I know! I so vastly prefer UC or TB.

Psh, gosu players set their Hearthstone to the Valley of Strength inn.

That way, assuming your computer is a couple of years old, you'll have about 30 seconds of 2 FPS every time you hearth there.

I have my HS set to Orgrimmar because the bank, zeppelins, auctioneers and trainers are all relatively close to each other. Not to mention the portals.
If it wasn't for the portals, I'd say TB has it much closer together.

Generally prefer Thunder Bluff over Orgrimmar as well, but I'm still at the stage where getting to the various faction quartermasters is of importance, and I can't be bothered getting on a wind rider.

Plus, I'm gosu.

Actually, I think they're even closer together in the Goblin slums. Mailbox, bank & ah and innkeeper all within a 3 second run. And no lag.

So very much this.

It seems like very few other people use the Goblin Slums.

But then, they aren't clearly labeled, either. I rarely see anyone else parked near the AH or the Bank, and hopefully that trend continues.

Same goes on in Stormwind, set your hearth to Old Town's Inn (Pig and Whistle I think it is called?). A short flight Northwest takes you to the Dwarven District where you'll find the Bank and AH across from each other, a vendor to vendor junk, and the portals are North of that. No need to ever go down near the Trade District unless you need a craft trainer or something.

I don't see many people in the P&W Tavern, though I do see peeps using the AH in the DD.

There's an inn in the dwarf district, The Golden Keg. All my toons use it.

Goblin Slums has the unfortunate disadvantage of having way too many NPC's though. On my laptop I get really bad lag there even if I'm the only person there. My hearth is set to the Inn in the Valley of Wisdom. Trainers, AH, bank are all right next to each other, and it's also right below the portals.

Am I missing something here?

Orgrimmar has three different places with auctioneers, or what? Goblin slums, Valley of Wisdom and Valley of Strength? Smiley: dubious

Which Strength, where the Play Fort is, or where the Fishing Daily is? They both have an AH, so that's 4 (at least).

There are four five AHs in Org that I know of. Valley of Strength, Valley of Honor, the Tauren camp (Valley of Wisdom), the Troll camp at the north end of the Valley of Spirits (it's in the one big hut that's on the map, inkeeper on the ground level, bank and AH on top), and the Goblins around the sludge lake.

Edit: strike-through tags don't show up on "4" :P
