Drinking + WoWFollow

It's friday afternoon, and that means beer time is coming and WoW time.



My favorite at the moment is Segram's Rum + coke. I tend to solo or battleground while drinking if no one else is on. Mostly solo as poor reactions are bad for battlegrounds. I'll also kitty DPS in my tank spec in 5-mans with friends, those are some of my favorite times...

What's your favorite drink for WoWing with, and what do you do?

Non-alcoholic drinks are welcome as well; anything that helps you unwind and have a good time!

Coffee, but a nice glass of wine is always a treat.

Moosehead is my favorite beer.

Back in Scotland it was Irn Bru, but I haven't managed to locate anywhere that sells if over here yet. So from the drinks I've tried over here, Ice Tea seems to serve me well. But if I'm wanting to get hammered, then Morgans Rum & Coke seems to do the trick, though I haven't had any since I went to a party, drank half the bottle, ate some curry, then threw up. Bad Times.

If i'm playing for a long time i'll go through tons of water cause i got into the habit of lifting weights while on flight routes, or waiting for BG queues. Back when i was a lot less healthy, arena would make me want to chain-smoke a lot and i tended to drink J.D or this nice polish grass vodka called zubrowka. Alcohl makes me a lousy pvper, but strangely my tanking reached some zenith where i could solo or tank basically anything.

Usually I drink either coffee or coke. If I don't have any of those around I'll settle for plain bottled water.

Being drunk messes up with my reflexes big time and I can't perform in any group, unless the rest is at least as drunk as I am. At times when I do some boring solo stuff like grinding or farming I'll have couple beers, bottle of wine or some Jack Daniels.

Try to have some żubrówka with apple juice, don't ask me why but this specific combo tastes much better than if you mixed it with any other vodka. Antonovka apple juice (specific to Eastern Europe) is particularly good. Doubt you can get it outside Russia/Poland though. This drink is called "szarlotka" (apple pie in Polish) and I used to get drunk quite a lot with this.

I used to sit alone and play WoW and drink.

That was sad.

Now I don't drink anymore... and I'm somehow suddenly much better at tanking.

Usually water or soda. However, if it is alcoholic it's typically a Samuel Adams beer of some kind.

i went through an amber bock phase myself, but to hear it described as exotic made me lol. don't they have sam adams where you buy beer? their boston lager is great, but avoid the fruity flowery seasonal crap they put out. if you're ever dumbfounded by a huge rack of microbrews, lagers and heifeweizens (wheat beers) are smooth, safe bets where you'll never run into "coffee flavors with just a hint of raspberry and chocolate overtones and a gentle buttery aftertaste." ooh ooh ooh! WARSTEINER! it's not the world's #1 exported beer just for it name.

when i'm not drinking great lakes or yeungling, it's almost always miller lite.

Yeah I don't necessarily mean exotic. When I think of domestic I think of all the norms like bud and miller, but technically stuff like boulevard and amber bock are also domestic, but it's not something you tend to see everywhere so it's more of a kind of regional thing I guess.

I like Sam Adams Boston Lager, their Oktoberfest wasn't too bad. I love wheat beers that's why I love Boulevard Wheat and Blue Moon. When I go out I like to try different stuff. When my fiancee and I went out last the bartender gave me a freebie try of 312 which is a local Chicago brew, and Spaten or Spatzen Oktoberfest.

Water + a bowl or joint of medical marijuana so I can tolerate sitting in a child's office chair for a few hours.

I would have to say my drink of choice for wow is a Screwdriver (vodka and oj sometimes with pineapple chunks(try it its AWESOME))
And while in my wonderfully drunken state I love to MT raids. Best time ever was playing my old guilds drinking game called WIPE.... can you guess what to drink??? haha Anyways so after playing WIPE in ZA for an hour or 2 we decided to run karazhan instead. 45 min run 0 wipes all bosses downed no breaks for any reason. As MT I was also doing RL and after every boss i was keyed up on vent telling ppl move fastah less pp more killkill!! hahaha IT WAS A BLAST!!!

Granted pot doesn't really kill people. It can still destroy peoples lives and family. I know you'll also point out the fact you said "medical" though for someone who is very anti alcohol you would figure you would be pretty anti-drug, be it medical or not.
