What about Cataclysm gets me most excited? Everything. I can't wait to make a worgen; experience all the changes to the old world; having a more streamlined 1-60 experience; being able to fly in Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor; Leveling in Mount Hyjal, Uldum, and Twilight Highlands the most; all the new spells and changes to the classes; leveling a race/class combo that wasn't available previously (dwarf shaman, human hunter, night elf mage, gnome priest); trying my hand at rated battleground combat; and most of all, getting back to Old Azeroth and continuing with the fantastic lore.

Everything about this new expansion has gotten me very excited to continue to play World of Warcraft. And I look forward to doing so, whether I get a beta invite or not.

I am looking forward the new changes to Azeroth and all that new stuff that are somewhere else than Azeroth like Deepholme , Skywall and that ! I really can't wait to do that quest chain and go to trough the Maelstrom itself. I am also looking forward playing as an Worgen Hunter and an Goblin Warlock but at same time leveling mine current 80's to level 85! I also told my friends that I'll be aiming for World First 85level as an Worgen or atleast Realm First...In my opinion the Cataclysm expansion will be the best one and will return the true feelings that we had in pre-tbc back to the World of Warcraft and make it more epic than it is at the moment.

I have one word for Cataclysm - EPIC!

~Best Regards,
Demonwing

P.S
I hope i'll get the key! :)

I am really excited about the new races and looking forward to them.I really like how the worgen and goblin come into the game and I am really caught by the new races quest chains and how they follow a interesting pattern where you never really know whats going to happen next. They just make me interested and I am hoping to see what they have to offer :).

It's WoW and it's Blizzard, everything's to die for!

But really, I'm looking forward to the new low level content, the all new revamped talents and talent system, playing a worgen and laughing my *** off when party-ing/raiding with goblins :)

What im Excited about Cataclysm is the Leveling up Guild thing (If that hasn't been takin out) It will give the guilds a chance to show how good they are and how much stuff they do things together.

Im also excited about the new Races, glad to see something new for a change, having a Worgan would be awesome for my Warlock =P.

Another thing is the new Dungeons and Raids, soon the dungeons will get boring and will get tired of seeing them (With the release of RS that is.) and will have another thing worth playing while leveling and gearing for raids.

One last thing is the flying in Azeroth, no more will I be using my horse traveling to many different areas with a mount superior (150%, 280%, or 310%) make Azeroth travel easier.

The Thing that most excites me about WoW cataclysm is the way they have changed the classic zones, because I have been playing since Black Wing Lair was the top tier raid back in "vanilla" WoW content and watching how WoW has evolved has been a very cool experience. Combine the WoW evolution aspect with the re-emergence of Lore based characters such as Deathwing and its going to be one wild ride :).

I'm genrally excited for the whole thing but, i must say archaeology and the new glyphes bring me the most satisfaction.

Glyphes in simple, I'm an inscriptionist, its my money grab, but archaeology is big for me. I have wanted to just dig up some of the lore that those ruins hold, the old highborne ruins, the uldaman ruins, anything. Hell I'd even dig up some more skeletons for the dwarf libary if i could find some. And digging beside brann bronzebeard would just be so damn cool. He's so damn presistant at finding his history, and to be honest, i want him too to... after him and the ulduar incident.... i dont want him doing and finding something else would a thousand mouths.... or even eyes for that matter...

With the Cataclysm nigh, what isn't there that's to be excited about?

---The Worgen, a race I have loved since my first trip to Duskwood, are going to be available for playable. And no matter all the hate that people show towards them, I will play them with pride, knowing that my Warcraft wish has finally been fulfilled after 6 years.
---The entirety of the old continents being changed. I am loving the changes to places like Westfall, Silverpine, Stonetalon and Hillsbrad to name a few. I haven't seen many of the places, but after 6 years, I will willingly throw myself back into raising alts to experience all the new lore.
---The rebirth of one handed dual wielding fury warriors. I was very iffy about Titan's Grip when WotLK was announced, finding it a very unlikable talent (for me anyway). I grew up with my warrior in the Single Minded Fury mindset, so to finally see them coming back will bring a wide smile to my face.
---The new zones brought in by the Cataclysm. Deepholme and Nazjatar Ive seen so far, and they have been utterly gorgeous in what Ive seen so far. I can't wait to see the Twilight Highlands, as well as the event between Deathwing and Alexstrasza. Plus, the thought of another Old God will be awesome, since Yogg-Saron was an excellent addition to a very terrible expansion that was WotLK.
---Aaand... the new items for low level characters for Roleplaying purposes. Being from a roleplaying server, and having a very limited types of attire for it made it very boring and samey. Hopefully the new armors in Cataclysm will give low level Roleplayers a scene of authority in their appearance now.

With the Cataclysm, those would be my top 5 things I cant wait to see in Cataclysm. Ive not been so excited for the previous two, so waiting for the official release will be torture *laughs*.

Being a lore buff, I am very excited about Uldum finally opening after so long and finding out more about the history of the Titans. I also look forward to the storyline beginnings for the goblins and the Worgen. Especially since no one has heard anything from Gilneas since the end of the Second War. Now the mystery of Gilneas in revealed and as to why they isolated themselves. The other major thrill is finally being able to fly in Azeroth.

Being a lore buff, also brings up one negative. A night elf mage. For those who know the history of the night elves and have read War of the Ancients, the study of arcane magics are forbidden by night elves. The punishment is banishment from night elf territory like when the highbourne (high elves) were banished from Kalimdor and sent across the seas where they eventually founded Quel'Thalas.

There's my say on Cataclysim

My favorite part about Cataclysm will be the awesomeness of seeing the game world I have known turn into something more, and better then I could think of myself.

As a hardcore hunter player I'm looking most forward to play testing each new talent tree of the class in multiple ways. First I would like to test out my current main (copied over for the beta), but mainly I'd like to test out as a new worgen for the full 1-85 leveling experience. I'm accepting of the fact that only the males are available currently as it would go with the name I've picked out for my pet. Watson! Duh, a mastif with a man in a tophat?

In sort I want in to test out the leveling 1-85 fresh, and as an 80 entering the expansion. I want to test all of the new stats/mechanics. I'm highly looking forward to both of the new races (worgen hunter specifically), and can't wait to hunt down more pets. Raiding? Hell yes I want to raid blizzards face off (in a good way).

This past year I have become increasingly disinchanted with WOW. Cataclysm excites me -- it gives me another chance to fall in love again--as not only will I get to play through the game with a new race (Worgen); I will also get to experience Azeroth in an entirely new way! I find nothing as "happy making" as rich new content and lovely well-thought out quests. (the horrible destruction depicted in the artwork doesn't hurt either)(The hubby swears I am evil to the core)

In addition because of the dungon changes Blizzard made, I will be able to take my new baby worgen through all of them (while they are level app.)!--something virtually unheard of.

Thanks so much,

Feos

Hello.

In Cataclysm I'm pretty excited for the new Talent Changes, we will have a greater understanding of each specialty in WOW's classes. I had a rather empty feeling when I've spent my first talent point, and the only thing that it changed was for e.g +1% crit chance or +1% damage on instant spells. In my opinion the overall experience on each class will be richer.
As I saw the Goblin quest line I had a big laugh. Run over npc's like GTA :P The Goblin Quest line have more humor than the Worgen. But still, the phasing system on the Worgen Quest Line is very well done, and for that I must congrat Blizzard.

I'm excited for the new Hunter changes. The talents are very well structured and focus will change deeply the Hunter mechanics, and that we have to still discover, because it can be good or bad for hunter.

The Mastery Stat will change many things in World of Warcraft, and what will change beetween classes will be good. (imo)

Hugs, Hélio Soares.

I can't wait to asses the damage that blizzard is doing yet again; This time to the level 60 twinks. Ever since I got my warrior everything he could use: Thunderfury, Sulfuras, the insane title, and the best non-gemmed gear, he has been a God in PvP capable of stopping an entire alliance rush in AV with the help of one other 60. Now, due to blizz's incapability to count talent points or their lack of motivation to give a damn, level 60s will no longer be able to reach the bottom of the talent tree. Sadly, this means no Shockwave in my 1 vs 15 battles anymore, but that isn't even the worst part. The worst part is when I'm AFK in org I can't dual wield my Thunderfury and Sulfuras anymore because we won't have Titan's Grip, a talent that has been available at 60 for around two years.

P.S. One thing I'm really excited about though is region wide battlegrounds; My other 60 twink paladin will be able to finally enter AV without being screwed over by talent changes because she isn't losing anything by not being able to reach the end of the tree.

Sincerely Zaräki-Nathrezim

I'm looking forward to leveling some of my little alts in the revamped zones; I've been through them enough times now that I'm just tired of that grind, so new quests and a whole new look & feel to those areas will go a long way with me.

I am most interested in how Archaeology is going to work as a profession. If its interesting enough, I would love to be spending hours grinding for this profession to get up too. It would actually make me happy to be an ugly dwarf. (:

I also look forward to ganking people over piles of dirt!

Oh, and with flying in Azeroth, I want to finally land in Ironforge airport!

Oh man, I'm like OMG WTF stoked! My new hunter talents are gonna OWN! I'll be running around the BG's and Arena scoring headshots. It'll be like BOOM HEADSHOT! BOOM HEADSHOT! Yeah, just try to hit me.

On the other hand, the subtle changes to the Warlocks' talent tree has me intrigued. I have noted several new talents that will not only increase my base damage per second, but also my burst dps as a whole. Frankly the excitement of the entire thing has me shivering with anticipation in my little undead slippers.

And lets not forget....

Orc stomp! Orc Smash... Orc warrior's are still gonna look awesome in whatever new armor skins blizzard comes out with! So yeah, easy to be excited.

I'm looking forward to a lot of stuff. Revamped zones will be nice for a change. Many zones are kinda messy today, so i hope that will get fixed.

Condensed talent trees, and not having to visit a trainer to get a new rank of an ability. Neat.

Bear druids getting another button to press -- win.

Lots of small stuff.

But i really look forward to a gear reset, getting to re-explore the classes, and to avoid doing 25 mans while still getting the same ilvl loot.
