I personally am looking forward to the rebuilt Azeroth, it's been awhile since I have leveled in it and I am quite excited to do so again. Although im not a fan of the Worgens, the starting zone is AMAZING and blizzard put tons of work into it along with everything else.

But the main thing I am looking forward to are the talents "Blood and Thunder" and "Thunderstruck" for warriors. The ability to effectivly AOE tank on my mainw as long over-due and I am extremely excited that we will finally be able to hold aggro without spamming Cleave and Thunder Clap for every second of each fight.

I can't wait to see all the changes to Azeroth. It's great that Blizz is updating the world and I'm especially anxious to see the changes to the Plaguelands and Stratholme, as they were my favorite vanilla zones. But I hope Blizz doesn't change Silverpine too much, as it looks amazing at night.

My main is a raiding Holy Paladin, so the most excited part for me is new talents/spells/mechanics for Holy Palas. Finally we seem to get new tricks to use instead of being constantly overpowered in one area (HoL spamming!), but on the other hand much crippled in all the others (no real healing while moving, no prehealing/hotting, crappy tanksaving cooldowns etc.)

Besides that I think of rerolling some new alts, and the Old World rebuilt looks promising.

I can't think about how great it will be to play a goblin rogue! Sneaking up on Alliance with a little dagger weilding goblin and stab, stab, stab! Cackle cackle cackle.....

Please select me so I can see the reality of this!!

Being able to fly in Azeroth will be fantastic.

I'm also very much looking forward to exploring the new abilities and spells on my shadow priest. Can you say Mind Spike?

It should be good.

The biggest thing that I personally am looking forward to is the phasing that will be taking place in the old world, I feel that it was tried in Wrath but it has been perfected in Cataclysm. As well as the Trolls having a real starting area and city of sorts. I think that the graphic enhancements (both to the User Interface and the world itself) and new zone additions (places that we have seen before but never been able to get to [Gilneas, Uldum, Grim Batol]) as well as the updated water combat mechanics, make it worth the wait. I also am looking forward to being able to fly through the old world and experience it from a whole new perspective. Having Played WOW since 2005 I must say this is the most anticipated expansion to date.

Goblins!! Can't wait to start a new Goblin toon and explore the new starter zone as well as the reworked 1-60 zones!

Hunters! Hunters have always been my favorite class so am very intrigued by the major revamp!

Friends! Last but not least, the new expansion has some old friends who have abandoned WoW in years past interested in picking the game back up so we'll have the opportunity to get the old guild back together! (and of course experience the guild leveling system together!)

I live in Jersey so it not that many people >.< Sylvanas is scary, Garrosh is mean, Carine is dead, and Thrall is keeping the world from ripping apart. What is the alliance doing? ABSOLULY NOTHING!!! Hahahaha!! LOK'TAR OGAR!! FOR THE HORDE!!!

I have to admit, I'm mostly excited by new opportunities to explore the world again. I've seen and done most everything in Vanilla, TBC, and WotLK, even the places you aren't exactly "supposed" to be able to get into. >_> What can I say, I enjoy pushing the limits of the world.

This is going to be the best expansion since Vanilla! I am most looking forward to checking out the revamped territories. Leveling is my favorite part about World of Warcraft and now with all the new questlines it is going to be a blast! I LOVE the Warcraft lore. Chris Metzen did an amazing job and now with the new storyline and territories it is going to make my love for Warcraft grow hundred fold.

Thank you Blizzard for all you have done! LONG LIVE WARCRAFT!!!

I am looking forward to Rated Battlegrounds. I enjoyed the old ranking system, (got up to rank 11 myself) but did not enjoy having to play non-stop to progress any further. It is nice to know the best PvP gear will be accessible through two methods other than one (Arena).

The thing I'm most excited about with Cataclysm is how the new PvP system works. The rated battlegrounds and arena.

Exploring Azeroth and all the changes there. And I hope for God's sake that blizz made the right changes to the game (which is a big task). Also trying out the new races will definately be awesome.

Troll druid? Count me in!

I'd been playing the warcraft franchise since wc2. Then world of warcraft was released and I loved every second of the game, but however lately it has been in decline. My hope for cataclysm is to have that feeling of knowing absolutely nothing about whats going on. Re-discovering things I always just knew were there, only to pass by and have it be completely different. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way.

The #1 thing I am looking forward to the most with Cataclysm is all the new lore. I have read all the books and played all the games, and to finally be able to go toe-to-toe with Deathwing himself is epic. To see the return of Azshara, the Queen of the Highborne herself! And not to mention the return of Malfurion Stormrage, back from his long slumber in the Emerald Nightmare defending Azeroth from the Nightmare. I absolutely cannot wait to meet with all these huge figures of lore, whether it's to fight against them in an epic battle, or to stand by their side while taking down foes.

And then to venture into unknown lands of lore as well. Uldum may have been around, but to see what Uldum REALLY is and what is inside will truly be a sight. And to dive into the depths of Grim Batol where so many wars and battles have raged over, where the Life-Binder herself was held captive, only to be freed later by a band of heroes.. And not to mention being able to visit Deepholm! Where Deathwing himself was nursed back to health after his defeat at Grim Batol, only to then enter Azeroth through the World Pillar, shattering it, and causing the Cataclysm itself.

And last, but not least, to meet the newcomers to the Alliance and the Horde. I have wondered for YEARS now what has been going on behind the Greymane Wall in Silverpine Forest.. Only to find out that Genn Greymane himself has survived only to be cursed with his people, now known to be Worgens. And to watch as Thrall is captured by SI:7 agents, and then freed by a cartel of Goblins, therefore unifying them within the Horde, will also be amazing to see.

These are the things that I look forward to the most.

(And flying in Azeroth comes in at second place too :) )

I am most looking forward to all the new guild related stuff in the new expansion. I am part of a social guild and we really love doing stuff together so the Guild achievements/Perks etc. is really gonna enhance the gameplay for me. Can't wait :)

The thing that I am most excited about in the Cataclysm expansion is the newly revamped Azeroth. I love questing and I think it will be wonderful to have so many new zones to explore and progress through. The Wrath of the Lich King expansion had some great quests and I can't wait to see what Blizzard has in store for the players in Cataclysm. I can just imagine so many fun quests and flow together nicely (and maybe even some nice rewards!). In short, the element of Cataclysm that "really gets my gears grinding" is all the newly revamped zones to explore and all of the new quests to complete! :)

I am looking forward to playing a worgen the most as it is a total new class and i like to learn something new from the beginning.

Also stormwind city looks very cool and the new graphics looks great from videos and screenshots.

I like the idea of flying in and around stormwind city, i can now sit there and not have some low level toon trade me and beg for gold :P

Overall i cant wait to see this game hits the shelfs.
