I'm incredibly excited about flying in Azeroth and exploring the changes made by the Cataclysm. Also, I can't wait to play on both the Worgen and Goblins. They both look like so much fun to play. I also can't wait to get a look at the Abyssal Depths and all the new dungeons. I like the improvements they're making to the classes, especially the hunter! I've always found it annoying to have to use Aspect of the Viper or needing to drink so much. I can't wait to level from level 80 to level 85.

I'm looking forward to seeing the old world being changed since it has been in dire need of new content for it, the new dungeons look cool, the new zones from what I have seen look amazing especially Vashjir I love the whole underwater zone being there, and of course flying mounts in Azeroth who doesn't want that? But the main thing is new areas in azeroth that is the biggie for me I have seen them and they just make me go nuts of how good they look especially with the revamped graphics blizzard is putting in with the expansion, and of course the quests in the new areas look actually fun and make me want to quest.

Hi,

_____ONTO WHY I WOULD LIKE TO PLAY CATACLYSM BETA__________

I've included some background information about me and the characters I play below my post, I hope this is OK.

__HOW I FEEL I CAN HELP THE GAME AND THE COMMUNITY__

I would like to play Cataclysm beta because I feel I can contribute towards the critical testing of the game, I have testing skills and worked with companies that have worked with Microsoft, Adobe, Macromedia testing products. I feel I could really make a difference in fine tuning the game. Considering my experience I would like to make videos one day, which I feel bad about not creating in the past especially in levels 60 and 70.

__WHAT IM LOOKING FOWARD TO__

I'm looking forward to the changes to all the zones, the revamping of lower level zones. Learning all the new skills and talents my classes are given, and learning about every other class from a PVE and PVP aspect. Playing with my friends again on Kazzak :)

__IN SUMMARY__

I feel that the most exciting thing to look forward to in the expansion is defiantly not just the game but the social aspect. The people you bump into whilst levelling, the new guilds which form, the new stars of the game in pve and pvp - the game is all about the community and I look forward to playing with new people. Having fun is the most important part of a game.

___MY BACKGROUND___ INCLUDED IF YOU LIKE TO READ

I started playing world of warcraft in 2005, at first I wanted to be a female night elf druid as in all games previous that I could be female I would (I'm a guy, don't like staring at other guys behinds) but all my friends from Counterstrike were horde. So I rolled Rayven an undead female rogue on Deathwing EU.

I was very slow to level, because I took my time from quest to quest, and was heavily envolved in PVPing even as a lowbie (no battlegrounds then) When I hit level 60 (my dad beat me at levelling! and I was 22/23 years old at the time) (22+ days played 1-60 lol) I quickly learned the aspects of the game, and what was required to progress.

Farming my way up, crafting devilsaur items and getting pvp reward daggers I found a molten core guild, which didn't last too long. I then joined WowRush dashers who were kind enough to take me in, and start kitting me out, by then I'd already started getting big notice from horde and alliance for my PVPing, a hunter named Cherekee (yes, that hunter that played for mousesports) took a liking to me after I killed some of his friends and encouraged me to pvp more and more. Eventually I got poached from wowrush dashers to join Talent, a quite arrogant but good at the time guild compared to the rest on the server. They quickly kitted me out and had many pvpers in the guild already.

Cross realm migrations saw the departure of a lot of my friends, but I stuck on Deathwing and decided to go for high warlord. I was already rank 9 or 10 from just ganking and playing casual battlegrounds with other premades, learning every aspect of PvP.

I ranked very quickly, and I took a liking to a chinese guy playing a hunter (Firepanda) so I let him in my team and carried him upto high warlord. I then eventually hit Warlord my self, and my guild decided to take the free migration to Tarren Mill. I named changed to Kali at this point, by which I am most known. I arrived at Tarren Mill not knowing a lot of players, and quickly teamed up with swedish guild Ace Of Spades + my guild to form my premade PVP team, with a few outside pvpers and farmed upto rank 14.

By this time real life got in the way and I spent most of my time unguilded (as guilds fall apart in the summer) had a few trials but there was too many rogues (shock horror) so I chilled until the expansion.

I wasn't the fastest to level, as I was working shifts and would be working/asleep for 4 days in a row. When I got to 70, I did some PvP - most players finding it hard to adjust to the arena, I pretty quickly got upto a decent standing in 5v5, top few hundred nothing special but gained enough points to get my fist weapon - as I was playing some strange hemo spec as I recall.

As I wasn't able to raid, my gear fell behind - so I concentrated on real life to get myself into a position where I could raid again. A friend was playing in a guild who had decent progress and a really skilled druid tank, so they got me to come to raids in Serpentshrine Cavern, where I quickly rerolled blacksmith and gathered that mats for the t3 mace. I was then lucky enough to be able to Join BloodRage (now BloodReign on Kazzak) and was starting to get really good gear from Tempest keep and Black temple was just opening, I got attuned luckily had the quest in my log!!

In Season 2 of the arena, I played RMP to 2100 rating before our priest broke his arm (awesome excuse I know) and generally stopped playing less. Picked up the merciless swords, which were better on paper (spec etc) than the t3 mace.

Season 3 started, and was raiding hard with BloodRage and playing in various teams. I got myself the season 3 swords for raiding, and saved up DKP and kept raiding Black Temple. I was lucky enough to get Warglaives after months and months of farming, I still thank Pit for letting me in his guild and everyone who helped me achieve this. A player called Xni returned to the server, in the form of a priest, and we quickly went on to get gladiator title in 2v2 - some footage in reverse POV can be seen at http://nutnut.org/moda/ I will get onto the reason why its not in my point of view in my reasons why I want to play Cata Beta.

When Sunwell opened, we were struggling for players - and I was stolen away to move to Burning Legion and play in Default, I do regret the move, but I don't for the person I met because of this (another story) I am now back on Kazzak and hope to play with Pit again in the expansion!

At level 80, I haven't done that much, I've been alliance and horde, I've done a tiny bit of raiding - heres my char http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Kazzak&cn=Gauge

I have an alt druid who used to flag run at level 60 in wsg to prove a point to my guildies that all druids dont suck: http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Kazzak&cn=Scatform

I could write forever about this game :) I love it

ps tried to sign up to premium but got an error :(

Thanks for reading this far

Take care all,

Kali.

As with many people - the leveling from 0 - 60 has gotten more like a chore to me. As I am something of an altoholic...
So many new places, and so many NEW places... I'm most excited about my Goblin Rogue Engineer whom I've already reserved the name of Screwdriver. We shall have SO many fun times...

I'm the most excited about the story changes and the additions to the awesome lore that's already been set up. I've been waiting since release for the main characters and story to actually go somewhere, but up until BC there really wasn't any story changes, just new bosses added... Now with phasing they're bringing them to life. REALLY excited about that.

New races are also pretty cool, and the completion of Azeroth (As far as we know it) is fantastic to.

I'm looking forward to the guild changes, which includes perks, items, pets, and even the updated guild ui. My guild has been around since January 2005 and we're still having a damn good time. The fact we're going to be rewarded for working together, which is what we do anyways, is simply amazing.

I'm actually looking forward to the revamped levels 1-60. Leveling in Azeroth was a painful experience outside of the draenei and blood elf areas. Low drop rates, low spawn rates, and worst of all some of the worst quest layouts I have ever seen.

Now they're going back and redoing the quests so that they make sense with the changes in the world and outlands.

It was always very discouraging to head to Stranglethorn Vale at level 30, grab all the quests, then realize that 3/4 of those quests you can't even attempt to do until you're 40. So you do the yellow quests, get to level 35 and head to Thousand Needles to finish up the harder quests you had to abandon at level 25. If that doesn't take you to 40 then you have to find yet another area with quests you weren't able to complete all so you can finally go back to Stranglethorn.

In Cataclysm they will be condensing the zone quest levels, so we no longer have to play musical zones. The only bad side will be that my altitis will be running rampant without the dreaded 1-60 levels keeping me from leveling yet another alt.

In the years I have been a WoW player one of the most significant mobs that sticks out to me were the goblins that cast lightning bolts at me throughout STV and other areas of Azeroth. So I am most excited about the goblin shaman I will get create in Cataclysm. Payback time:D

I am really looking forward to all of the guild improvements. The perks sound great and the screen shots of the new interface look good too. Being able to view everyone's professions will be very handy. Guild leveling and an individual player gaining rep with a guild will encourage more teamwork. I am also excited about goblins becoming a playable race, they look like a lot of fun...I may have roll a new main.

I'm really excited about revisiting all the zones and seeing what has changed in the 6 years since the launch of WoW. Not only will I probably have to level new characters to see it all, but both Alliance and Horde too so I can see the changes that have happened on both sides! It's bound to be amazing to see how far Blizzard has come in their game design philosophies!

I've gotta say, I'm definitely excited about the new content. I've always loved searching for those "hidden" places in the world, and being able to fly will definitely help. Not to mention, the awesome new outfits, abilities, and weapons. There's just so much to look forward to.

I'm hoping the quests are as good as some of the older chains. There were some epic story lines.

I'm very exited over playing Cataclysm, because of all the major changes to the game. It will really feel like playing a whole new game. I just simply can't wait to find out about the new stat system, the new talent trees. It will be that learning curve I had 2 years ago when I started playing the game. everything will be new, exiting and most of all, very very fun!

For me... the most exciting aspects of the expansion are the talent tree changes. With this much change, each class will be fresh and interesting. I'm chomping at the bit to test out different specs and variations on the dummies, in solo/questing and groups/raids.

I have eight level 80's and a lot of free time!... and I'd certainly spend nearly all of it testing the beta from soup to nuts and providing reports/feedback! (no slacking here!)

I'm most excited to see starter zones revamped and improved for lower level questing. It's always been painfully boring to start at level 1 and not gain anything of interest until levels 30-40, but hopefully that will be changed with the addition of "core" abilities at level 10.

What excites me most is the Worgen race. Finally, the Alliance is getting a badass race (Draenei don’t count, everyone knows their tails looks stupid). The werewolf theme is awesome in general, and I’m glad they’re taking the ever present Worgen element of the game further. The zone is sweet too, like Transylvania. I love imagining using Sprint and Darkfallen consecutively in Warsong Gulch and just flying away with that flag. Or grabbing a wolf pet as a Worgen hunter (although the Worgen starting pets fit the race kinda perfectly). The pally holy power changes and the revamp of Azeroth is amazing as well, but Worgen will just make the new world so much more fascinating.

I am most excited about being able to fly in the old worlds. The changes to the landscape are going to be amazing. Being able to go back and see old content as new just brings a whole new experience to the game. I want to level a new toon 1-85 just to see all the new things.
