After 5 years, the old world is being changed and exploring the changes, from both the ground and the air. Lore has always been a big thing for me, and getting a chance to experience many elements from the ever expanding lore from Warcraft; that hasn't been seen yet is a huge factor for this expansion. Seeing how Mount Hyjal has fared over the years, since Archimonde's defeat, along with finally getting to see Uldum to learn more of the lore surrounding around the Titans.

Excited to see how warrior tanking turns out in Cata.

Also, gnome priests!! Finally a group of full gnomes is possible!

New Heirloom items, I enjoy fast alt leveling!

Thanks!

What I mostly look forward to, is the new mechanics of hunters and to see if it truly makes them fun again. I've been playing one since BC and when cata came out, it dulled them out for me. I also look forward to the change of blood death knights as their tank spec, even though the trees need a bit more work. I also always wanted to fly in Azeroth when I started playing this game. And I definitely wouldn't mind lvling a worgen class, haven't decided on which class I'll lvl my worgen, but I'll definitely figure it out. I'm excited to find out exactly what the new dungeons have in store for this game as well. I heard they are a challenge and well I've been waiting for a challenge for some time now. If CC is truly coming back, it'll revive those memories of BC and definitely put a smile on my face :). I miss those days quite a bit where it made the hunter more useful and not just another pure dps class with lack of control of the encounter. I'm also very curious of the mastery stat as well and see how that functions as well as other the other new goodies we get.

Well i guess the part im most excited about is all the new quests and hopefully the increased interaction among the wow community on my server atleast. Wtih mroe quests and things to do i think it will be more fun when i level alts or make new characters. I came in during the beggining of wrath and the old world was very lonely. Cata will hopefull make the leveling experience feel fresh and fun again.

Honestly, there isn't one particular thing I am excited for in the next expansion, it all looks great. everything that has been added to the World of Warcraft is just going to make it even more of an amazing game.

although I do wanna go explore all of the changes brought onto azeroth from deathwings emergence.

and guild advancement also looks like a great deal of fun, i mean seriously who doesn't want a mass summon or mass resurrection?

there's just too many new things to pick a few out that I'm most excited for, everything is going to be awesome :D

Well where do I begin

I just can't hold back my excitement about wanting to play as a worgen. It is so strong just the other day I watched a video showing the starting experience for worgen. I am also looking forward to all the new things with mounts like being able to fly in azeroth, and the new abyssal sea mounts. I like how the are adding another tier of glyphs because I like the tweaks it gives to individual characters. There is so much more but these are the main things I am looking forward to.

Hi
I'm definitely looking forward to playing my human hunter, as its what I've wanted to do ever since first coming to wow and seeing the character creation screen. Even the announcement of the race/class combos made me postpone levelling any hunter because I don't want to ruin it. :D

I've been playing my hunter since vanilla, and I am really excited to see the overhaul they are giving to hunter mechanics. I want to see how the change works entirely, whether it be better than now or lacking.

Also can't wait to see the old zones that I know so well being re-designed, especially the area's I've spent many an hour leveling low-level characters in.

The part of the Cataclysm expansion that excites me most is the redesigned continents of Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms. Throughout the past five years, I have leveled several characters and I have tried to hit every quest possible to experience it all. I have to admit, that as of late, I have been lost to the feeling of excitement when leveling a new character/class. Not that the old world has become boring to level in. I just don't have anywhere to explore that I haven't seen and experienced. That sense of adventure when you enter a new zone; not knowing what you'll end up seeing is the best part of WoW to me. The shiny new textures will, of course, be a huge improvement to the experience; but to rediscover my favorite part of the game is something I can't wait to take part in.

I'm SUPER excited for the cataclysm! I just can't hold it back! I mean, I got back into WoW, solely because of the expansion. However, the thing I'm most excited for overall, would have to be seeing Azeroth from a hole new standpoint, and seeing all of the geographical changes that they've made, improving the hole experience. Also, flying mounts in Azeroth will be so kickass! I mean, ganking from above, while in Stormwind! It's truly going to be unbelievable.

What I am excited about in cataclysm?
The answer for some is simple but for me its not so simple. First of all the level cap gets raised, meaning new spells, new abilities, and new zones. With each of those being a thing to look forward in that of them selves.
Second there will be new class combination's. That for me is those times when I stared at the create a character screen choosing a new of many alts. I always thought "Man, I sure wish I could be a (insert class, insert race)" most of the time that being Troll Druid. Third, we get 2 new races. The lovable Worgens and the even more lovable Goblins. I say cheers for the new monsters we can be. The many perks each race gets, portable bank, increased haste, rocket belt, quick speed burst, and many others. I for one am one who cant make up their mind so I have many alts, and these two just add to more of my want for alts.
Then, lastly, one of the best parts of the game, new raids. This means there are new big baddies that I ,and a few friends, can go and destroy and stand on top of their bodies saying HAH I JUST KICKED UR.... well you get the idea.
Above all else I am looking forward to the new graphics. The water, the sky, the ground itself. All will be something that I am excited to enjoy and just see. Specially being an aspiring game developer.

I love playing Warcraft and World of Warcraft for the lore and quite possibly the most key point in all of Azeroth history that we see today in World of Warcraft is the War of the Ancients. There was a Freudian slip from a developer (or someone that knows) that around patch 4.2, we are going to see a Caverns of Time raid that is the War of the Ancients. I had been contemplating slowing down my WoW time and not raiding hardcore in Cataclysm, but the chance to participate in the very event that shapes Azeroth as we know it, has completely hooked me for this expansion. I'm also quite excited that we are more or less done with "Human" history in Azeroth so to speak, or cleaning up the events of and are now moving onto the history of the WHOLE of Azeroth.

I'm also quite excited to learn more about the origins of the Qiraji and Sithilid as well as C'thun and Ahn'Qiraj. To think that one of the most epic raids from vanilla WoW was a Titan facility and we never knew it. Perhaps there is another Titan facility in Darkshore that houses the old god there, Soggoth the Slitherer!

As a complete altoholic, I can't wait to see all the changes to each class, and how it changes the unique feel to them. Hunters interest me particularly, especially all the awesome new pets. ;)

Hello!

I'd have to say the most excited thing about Cataclysm is the redo of the old world and the 1-60 questing. It'll make it feel like a whole new game.

I am also excited to see the guild leveling, and rewards. I think this is a great addition to the game as it will reward all players for working together and help build friendships.

Overall, though, I'm most anxious to see how they're changing tanking. I am most excited about the new warrior talents right now.

Good look!

I'm most excited about Blizzard taking more of my money. First in the form of a special edition Cataclysm set, which I'm sure will run me around $100, followed by the continuous $15 a month that makes them so much money they probably don't even know what to do with it all. :)

I'm most looking forward to them bringing back elements from the "old world", and even Outlands. You know, things like crowd control. And an actual challenge. Discovering the old world anew will also be very interesting.

Oh, and a Worgen Druid, despite already having an 80 Night Elf Druid. Love the current look of the Worgen Feral forms!

Uhh, one of the big things for me would be the new graphic.
I can't wait to try it out with my new laptop x]
And the new models.
WoW is going to be so changed that its just.. awesome.
Been playing since Vanilla and I haven't seen many changes but Cata should be the überness of changing.
But if I need to short it down with a few words, I would say.
New models.
New textures.
New quests.
New raids.
more content
and new soundtracks..
Just awesomeness :)

Since my main is a hunter, I am actually really excited to see how focus works out for us and how big of a learning curve the switch from mana to focus will be. I think that it will work out well but it will definetly take atleast a month for people to fully catch on. Also, an added bonus would be if this added a higher difficulty to the class so it may clear up some of the "huntard" stigma that has stuck around.

A second thing that I think is awesome is the changes on healing. I recently started raid healing as a holy priest and it was really fun when I was less geared due to the fact where I had to be very conscious of my mana. Now that I have attained a lot of higher end gear I almost never have to worry about my mana and it has taken a lot of the thinking aspect out of healing. With Cataclysm totally changing the healing game my priest may get a whole lot more play time than just a few weekly raids.

There are so many neat things I'm looking forward to in the expansion that it's hard to decide just what I am the most excited about. I love questing and exploring so obviously the revamp of the original zones plus several new zones means I will have a lot of new stuff to experience. The new secondary profession of Archeology sounds fun and interesting even after they announced it would mainly provide fun vanity benefits rather than support the dropped Path of the Titans plans. The new races look awesome and I am anxious to try them out though I still haven't settled on classes for them yet. I love leveling alts so this expansion is going to be great for someone like me. Of course leveling my main to 85 is also something to look forward to although I am going to be feeling guild pressure to level quickly rather than take my time exploring the new zones.

Still, I think the one thing that excited me most from the first I learned of it was that I would finally be able to make a Troll Druid. The previews I've seen of the forms just look fantastic and appropriate for the race. Being able to play a Druid of my favorite race while leveling up in the revamped world just makes me grin whenever I think about it.
