Ahh where to begin. For me the part of Cataclysm I am looking forward to the most has to be the overhaul to the hunter class. Since I play a hunter as my main this will be a major part of the game for me. I'm not so sure if I like the idea yet, but only time and experience will tell.

Some of the other things I look forward to include getting to see the destruction of azeroth from two perspectives, one being from above as I fly around on my mount, and the second being from the ground with one of the new race/class combinations (I cant wait for the tauren pally). I am also thrilled about the Worgen. I can't wait to dive in to Gilneas and hear the lore.

And finally another one of my favoirte aspects of every expansion is the trade skills. I think being an engineer has some of the most anticipation going into each expansion because we never really know what gadgets might come up. Who knows what kind of crazy inventions those goblins have come up with this time (hopefully they are a little more stable this time around).

I'm excited about leveling new Worgen characters with my wife!!!

She's a huge fantasy fan, but the old leveling routes were very hard for her to enjoy, and she doesn't understand me when I say, "The game BEGINS when you reach max level!" She loves complicated boss fights, but I know she will love a pretty worgen female that can change into a monster at will even more!

What I'm looking forward to the most in Cataclysm would have to be simply lvling my new worgen druid.

I have an 80 druid atm, and it's my favorite class. I'm going to delete my current druid and create an entirely new worgen druid named Earthclaw (my current druid's name). With all the talent changes, quest changes, and zones new and old, it will be so much fun to traverse Azeroth once more not only as a worgen, but as my favorite class.

I also plan to make this worgen my main, so I've already got 10k gold saved up for her, plus all heirlooms, full 20 slot bags, plus tons of enchanting mats so I can power lvl her enchanting. She's my first character ever that I'm going to completely spoil.

I even have a tiny bit of lore for myself. My current Earthclaw, a night elf druid, dies in the upheavel of Azeroth as Deathwing breaks into our plane of existance. The infinite dragonflight are found to be responsible for her death. The bronze dragonflight, or time dragons, realize Earthclaw will be needed in the battles to come. So, they reincarnate her into the past as a Gilnean human baby and simply let the current Earthclaw be slain by the infinite dragons.

So to summarize: I can't wait for my new worgen druid!

I am excited for the changes to the healing game. I want more strategy and less spam...
I am also excited for the new stats system. I am quite anxious to see how well this fits into the new talent system and well just about everything else.
OoO The medium glyphs I cant remember what they named them. But, I love the idea!
Goblins! Finally!
Quest changes to the old world. This was a bit overdue but I'm not upset about it. I have always been a bit of a lore junkie.
Deathwing! Finally!

What I'm looking forward to most in WoW: Cataclysm is the opportunity to learn an entirely new healing philosophy that will be potentially much more challenging as well as applying this philosophy which is very comparable to Classic WoW healing to modern boss encounters. Can't wait!

I can't wait to see Paladin's new Holy Power, along with our new spells that clean up our current hodgepodge of hands, blessings, and seals. Might / Wisdom combination will be great (especially when blessing shamans- I can't tell how many times I've had to whip out the old 10min blessings to accommodate ele and enhance), along with what looks like integrating Sanc with tank talents.

I'm also looking forward to many other changes- the elusive (and what I have as of yet found no documentation for) new balance druid bar- what a way to balance spells! Not to mention Hunter focus and full out Blood DK Tanking.

First of all... thank you for this opportunity!

Here are the two things I look forward to the most:

1) With me being on the Alliance side, me and my husband will make Worg Hunters... get wolf pets... and then... form our very own pack! Of course, we always welcome more wolves in our pack~

Just imagine... Worgen with their wolf pets running as a pack of four furry beasts under the effect of Aspect of the Pack.... hhhaaaaahhh... it'll be wild.

2) I will never hear the sentence "I dreamed about being a Worg Priest" ever again. Hopefully. ;)

Anyway, I hope I amused you and you'll give us a beta key so I can stop making alts and getting heirloom gear. Drives me nuts. :p Thanks.

Just being able to experience the new content within the new zones, instances, etc & try out the Goblin starting zone. (Seem to have amazing starting zones! would love to try it out for myself.)

I'm also excited about all the class changes and see what's in store! :)

The thing I'm most excited about? Goblins! The horde finally got the gnome's evil counterpart. Every character I've ever rolled alliance was a gnome, simply because it's fun to destroy other people in pvp while being 2 feet tall. I'll be rolling a goblin before I even level my main to 85.

I'm also excited about redesigned azeroth. I'm an altoholic so this will give me another reason to level yet another alt through the new zones.

I've recently come back to the game after a couple years away. I'm VERY excited about the revamped areas, and can't wait to play a Worgen. I had forgotten how much fun WoW could be, and I hope Cataclysm can turn it up a notch. :)

What I'm looking forward to most in Cataclysm is the ability to fight the Earth-Warder himself, Deathwing. From the moment I saw his face in the trailer, I've been excited about the expansion. The other stuff is just icing on the cake.

Of course I'm excited for the talent changes (specialization FTW!) and new races and locations within original Azeroth. However, what I'm most excited to see is how all the lore pans out. After hearing about Deathwing I was a little confused behind his origin. And after such a strong antagonist like the Lich King (Arthas) and all the lore surrounding his storyline I was a little skeptical about how strong the plot would be in Cataclysm. However, after researching Deathwing more and realizing his place in the story as well as his importance to the dragonflights, I can't wait for the story behind the expansion! The return of Malfurion, the highborne queen Azshara, and so many other lore players that have stories unfinished. I can't wait!

What I am looking forward to most about Cataclysm is all the changes they made to low level area, since this is the first time they've done something to this extent. Also a chance to see how Blizzard has made use of Phasing and how it will work now in the upcoming expansion. I also like how they are going with the talent trees a bit, feels like a completely new start from what most are all use too.

I'm most looking forward to winning this sweet contest! Just kidding. I really want to see how the zones have changed, and maybe try out a few new characters in the new races. I'm a leveling fiend, so I know I'll be doing it.

For me, what I'm really looking forward to is all of class changes for all the classes, not just the ones I play. This is because I've decided to try out different classes in Cataclysm and experience all the new changes. Second, I'm really excited about how the new dungeons will work and how crowd control will have to be used again. I remember how in the Burning Crusade dungeons, we'd have to use it on like large packs on mobs like in Shattered Halls and Shadow Labyrinth. Our group leader would ask our mage (if we had one) to start the pull by polymorphing a marked target and after that happened, I'd wyvern sting my marked target. It added a new level of complexity to it and made me really enjoy instancing. And sometimes, on my druid alt, when instancing, I'd ask our rogue to sap a target to make things easier for us. So yea, really looking forward to Cataclysm and all the changes it brings to the World of Warcraft.

The thing I look forward to most is in regards to the professions. I already have toons that maxxed out blacksmithing, mining, tailoring, enchanting, cooking, fishing and first aid and soon I'll have maxxed skinning and leatherworking. So to be able to continue with these professions to get even MORE recipes, learn the old ones that no longer require specialization(such as axesmith and armorsmith), it is all gonna be a fun time for sure. And on top of that, a new secondary profession to learn....Archaeology!!! Almost makes me wanna roll a new horde toon and call him Kalimdor Jones(there's no Indiana in WoW) and you can't help but hear the faint music of old.....Duh daduh duuuuuuh, duh daduuuuuuuh. I have a feeling I'm gonna drive my guildmates nuts all over again trying to get all the recipes as well as any new achievements that will come from it all. XD

Why am I looking forward for Cata?

Because i loved vanilla wow, and I'm going to see the old magnificent Azeroth in a total new form, where I'll see many new mobs and quests. For example, I'm really courious to see how'll be the plaguelands AFTER the cataclysm. And I'll be able to see the new world when i'm on a flyng mount. I'll see the ex-closed zones! hehe.

Talents are going to be changed in a the old good way, and I'll return in the good past even with the talents.

I'll learn how to overcome my fear, the deep sea, Cata will surely help me to overcome my phobia.

And last but not least the new PvP stuff. God, we'll be having back the good old ranks! And we'll have EVEN more BGs/like.

i look forward to this contest being over and the weeding out of all the socks and other greedy bastards going away and have some peace and quiet on MY forum again.

Bunch of noobs, in my day we walked up hill backwards in the snow on barefoot without clothes and we didn't have some fancy schmancy linking through from other sites and getting all sorts of unwanteds here.

We should have Theo write an demeaning, agressive and downright hurting standard message that the admins can use to scare off the socks and stuff :)

I have never played Horde all that much. Because of this I am really looking forward to rolling a troll mage. Playing a troll so I can see the new starting area that I've heard so much about and playing a mage because I want to see the new class mechanics and see how the new talent tree system works. Whether I get in on the beta or not, my first goal will be to quest, explore and set warlocks on fire.

I'm looking foward to the changes in 5-mans that leads to more CC'ing and less AOE'ing, like back in BC. You'll feel much more accomplished once you finish those rather than the 15 mins speed runs we have now.

Also can't wait to play both the new races, see the zone changes, and try the new talent trees!

There are many things im looking forward too in the Cataclysm Expansion.

My first of them will be replaying the old world in its new reformed state, new quests, new areas, new races (Worgen and Goblin :D), the fact of going back to a place where i leveled my first character nearly 4 years ago and it all being different is mind blowing for me, seeing the zones that im so used to, completely changed for example mulgore (tauren starting area) being taken over by the Quilboar, changes the way we think of the games story drops us in a new place. Its like playing the game for the first time again.

Secondly Learning to play my class again this is easily one of my most hyped up cata changes. The Paladin. Paladins more Ret than anything else didnt really have any sort of rotation, first come first served is the way to roll, but i like what blizzard are trying to do with the paladins, trying to give them a rotation, adding new abilities and changing old ones, they are adding the feeling of if i use this move will that be wrong for what im doing, this makes you learn how to play your chosen class again.
