I'm really looking forward to see the new quests changes.
I really loved how the quests where setup to work together in WOTLK and in TBC, and i am really looking forward to see how they incorporate that quest design into the new world + all the phasing!
I'm really looking forward to level trough the new content due to this.

I'm also looking forward to trying the new rune mechanics for Death Knights to see how it works.
And i'm really, really looking forward to venture into Skywall! That is gotta be the most epic looking instance i have ever seen in this game!

What im looking forward to is for everyone who didn't play vanilla wow to be able to explore old Azthoth again and be excited about it. It seems that when leveling to 80 most people just power level from 1-60 with out even taking and time to explore what the original wow has to offer. with RAF people can level in under 24 hours easily and with all the leveling guides most of the old world is totally skipped internally. Although it is getting slightly remade im hoping that people will take the time to enjoy this new 'old world' content and have a feeling of what WoW was like when myself, and other old schoolers, played when it first came out.
There was an Epic feeling in the first months when WoW came out when the whole world was new and you could get totally immersed in the world without worrying about end game content, leveling was not a means to an end but a sort of end in its self where every level was rewarding and a sense of accomplishment was felt by completing a quest. I hope that with all the new content in the old world people will take the time to enjoy the 'epicness' that is wow and feel a sense of achievement for even the most lowest level quests again rather then just burning though them to reach the 'end game' content.
Also, being an "oldschooler" I'm excited to re-visit the world I once leveled in all those years ago when it took me over 16 gameplay days to get to 60 ^.^

Hmmmm, hard to really find one thing in particular I'm looking forward to. New races, new talents, new...well old zones updated. After playing through pretty much all of Wrath (especially the bore that was 3.2) the current expansion is starting to feel quite stale. Tbh I'm just looking forward to new, refreshing material.

The thing I'm looking forward the most is to see the way Blizzard builds upon all they're last evolutions in questing and instances/raids. Hopefully, we'll be able to experience something more than what we've seen so far...like some adventure orientated (platforming) parts!

One of the things I really look forward to is exploring the old world again! I have leveled so many alts and it was kinda boring to do everything again and again but with almost everything transformed I'm really gonna enjoy level new characters but also level my older chars through new content.

The think I am most interested in is role-playing with my Goblin warrior, sitting on street corners screaming at people: "I got what you need!" I would sell them my fine wares and rip them of tremendously.

I think the best part of Cataclysm is going to be the new raid system, so that you don't have to do the same raid in both 10 and 25-man. Since you get the same loot in both, so now I can finally do just the things that I like, the 10-man version of raiding.

I am very excited about the changes to the terrain and the old content. I am currently leveling a Pally for a final pass through the old dungeons and territories in order to maximize the contrast when cata hits. The ability to fly in Azeroth as well is also gonna be great.

I'm most excited about rated bgs. I haven't played during vanilla, so I'm preatty happy that i will be part of this in cata. I was always fan of PvP, but not some stupid arenas, but pure mass killing which is battlegrounds! When they've changed queues system (3.2.2a, not sure tho) I was rly dissatisfied about how it works, I thought random bgs will change it back to be fast "get-in and start killing" but unfortunatelly it hasn't changed, so I dropped PvP and started PvE. Now I can't wait to see this content and I hope it will be true Rebirth of BGs !

I'm looking forward to playing with my brother again. His old girlfriend, my brother, and I played all the way to lvl 70 together but we just kind of stopped playing after that. Until WoTLK came out and I started playing again, but my brother and his girlfriend broke up and he hasn't started playing again yet. He keeps saying "I gotta get back into that game" and I think all the awesome new stuff in Cataclysm will give him a reason to play again.

I would have to say I'm most looking forward to the arrival of Gilneas into a Roleplaying perspective. I'm sure that Worgen will contribute to alot of disappointing, incorrect and just plain bad roleplaying stories, but the potential is there for something fascinating and new to the Alliance. To get a faction with not one but two playable races is a great advancement for roleplaying.

As is flying in Azeroth.

I personally am looking forward to the new Paladin/Death Knight/Druid/Rogue Talents/spells/Masteries Considering I have all these at max level currently. I am most excited about about my Paladin. I really need to figure out how the holy power is going to work out.

I love the whole reforging idea, And would love to try it out (Whenever it becomes debugged :D)

And most of all I love the fact that I will be leveling a GOBLIN SHAMAN!

Overall I love all the changes in Cataclysm, It will be a completely different game in my eyes.

well what im looking forward to most is the fact of actually getting cataclysm and getting out of wrath of the lich king:):)i also have the feeling cataclysm is going to be alot like classic which was quite obviously the best expansion imo so that will be nice^^

I am also looking forward to the underwater leveling zones and it seems to me leveling will be more fun rather than a big huge grind^^

I am also looking forward to Dungeons there looking alot more challanging which i like about games in wotlk i did a few heroics without a healer:P

well somthings im not looking forward to about cataclysm is phasing to me it seems very scary that there may be a friend of yours that is in a different phase and you cant see them and what if you wanted to help a friend with a quest and his in a different phase i certainly didnt have fun with the wrathgate questline i had to make a ticket to get out the phase hehe.

After playing since clasic, I'm really excited to see the reskinning of the oldworld content. Seeing all of the large barren and underused spaces given new life is going to make leveling new toons feel like something new to explore instead of just clicking accept and going straight to the target.

I'm really looking forward to the resource change of hunters. My hunter is my original 80 and has been collecting dust for the last few months simply because I became bored with the class. I'm thinking this change is going to bring a fresh perspective into the class and make it fun all over again. In conjunction with that because it will indeed be a new system there wont be a ton of specifics on the best min/maxing and I'll be free to play the class how I feel is best (at least for a little while).

I'm looking forward to trying my Death Knight's new spells, Dark Simulacrum and other new DK's mechanics seem very exciting, and I'm really looking forward to doing some sick combos with that in PvP.

So yeah, the thing I'm most excited about is my DK's new spells, and PvP - A bit less bursty PvP envoirment is something I'm really hoping that they achieve to make.

Mankrik.
I am looking forward to all the new features that are being added and the revamping of all the old leveling zones, oh and the sexy new water effects. :) also I'm really excited to see the new arena and rated battlegrounds. Lastly, who couldn't be excited for the goblin and worgen leveling, it's going to be astounding with all the phasing.
