There're so many cool things in Cata, i relly don't know what's going to be the coolest, but excited about the changes in how u play the game. The new talents are really awesome, and even though the talents were already packed with a ton of cool stoff, they came up with more talents, that's really going to make leveling and raiding much more fun. I also think the way it's going to work with the swaping between geting a new spell and getting a talent is great. We have so many talents at the moment that's just fillers, so it wont really matter that much, that we only get a point every second level.
I think the entire gameplay changes along with the world changes and the addition of the new races and class/reaces combos, are really going to make WoW even better. Right now leveling is just filler stoff, but as i see it, the leveling experience will be just as great as raiding or PvP, and i think that's what i'm most excited about. To be able to have fun while leveling. Alternate between questing and dungeons, and being able to play a new race, or playing as a class/races combo i've never tried before.

All in all i think Cata will give me what WotLK couldn't: Something to do while not raiding. :)

I am looking forward to all the fun times with my friends that this new expansion pack will bring, its not enough that they are revamping the entire world with new rich content and fun and exciting quests.

I will be able to journey back to Azeroth with all my friends who have since left WoW, after ICC. That is the thing I look forward to the most, being able to re-experience a brand new outstanding world with the comrades I originally journeyed through Azeroth with.

O and goblins are going to be pure pwnge.

I remember the days in Azeroth when lvl60 was the limit and getting to that level was tough, mount purchase was at lvl40 and if you hit lvl 20 with more than 3gold you were doing exceptional. The zones were full of action and people, I would consider it a lucky day if I was able to take four steps out of Tauren Mill without an alliance rouge showing himself. Then BC and WotLFcame and Eastern Kingdom's and Kalimdor seemed deflated. Now I consider it a lucky day if I bump into more than three people in Silvermoon and oftern venture more than the four steps I took in Tauren Mill waiting for an Alliance rouge or any other class to show themselves for a confrontation. What I am looking forward too in Cataclysm is the return to a populated Kalimdor and EKingdom. For Silvermoon to have more of a purpose than lagg free zone and to storm Stormwind and there be some resistance. On top of that it will be nice to see the changes to the lands. To stand on a nostalgic spot that you remember for killing a pesky gnome mage and its different, to revisit a famous questing ground and its no longer the same. I believe this evolution of the game will be a great benefit and I am glad I got to experience the old.

There are a lot of things I'm really excited to try in Cataclysm, but I'll just list the top ones.

1. Flying around Azeroth to see all the changes from a bird's eye view. Lava pits, smoking holes, flooded valleys -- and seeing Org from above :)

2. Making a Worgen Warrior - exploring the new starting zone and enoying the new model.

3. The new 5-mans - I always get really excited for these. I love to check out the new architecture and mob models, and try them on all my 80s.

4. See how Focus works with hunters. I don't play my hunter that much, but I'm really interested to see how it works out.

Thanks!

everyone seems to be all like "i cant wait till i can rediscover the low lvl questing" and im like "stuff that" i cant wait to get to 85 and smash some more content. thats gunna be so wiked to get and kill bosses again. i want new hard bosses that provide a challenge rather than the whole "cookie cutter" boss fights. but new quests that arent all like "kill 10 of these things" then be like "go collect 10 of these from the things u just killed" coz that bugs me.

The most exciting thing will be the graphics. I'm very interested to see how the improved the textures, animations and stuff like this.
Then, the classes that'll change (especially Paladin) will be good to test and know about the new spells.
And finally, reporting bugs and improving the problems in-game will be "funny" to do. :P

That's what I want to see ! :)

The thing I am looking forward to the most is DIEING ... Please let me explain.

I am a prot pally, a well geared prot pally...
I want a challenge.
I want a death every now and then.
I want that moment of doubt before a pull.
I want that epiphany that I just pulled to much to handle.
I want that couple seconds of thinking maybe I can survive this.
I WANT to be slapped with the reality that I am not invincible as my cold dead body hits the ground...

Just thinking of the sweet release of death gives me a huge smile.

Oh thats easy the feature i'm looking forward to the most is rated battlegrounds i have always loved the overall feel of the battlegrounds ,don't get me wrong i love the concept of arenas in WoW it's just i like the feel of a battle going on and you being a part of it more than you being a gladiator in an arena. And with the top notch gear being accessible trough battlegrounds more and more good pvpers will start to take part in them which will turn what now is a complete pug-athon playing with complete strangers with no stategy at all hoping for the win (yes i know you can do premades but what are the chances you end up facing another premade group so it will not just be a total faceroll victory?) to a competitive sport dare i say just like arenas are now with even less imbalancements :)
Well that will be all from me good luck to everyone and i hope to see some of you in the beta
P.S. I am truly sorry for my poor english it's not my mother's tongue but hey i gave my best.

What am I looking forward is not but a single thing, It is more of a collective amount of extraordinary things Blizzard is doing to keep this game ever evolving. Whether it is from the smallest piece of texture art from a mountain that wasn't there before, going deep into the thriving ocean,Listening to the music of the new zones and being emerged all the more or even the simple things like seeing it all from the sky. It just makes me feel like when I first started playing and didn't know anything and remembering how excited I got over ordinary things, that I take for granted in today's game. Because of my friends that I have met in the game I feel I have a more vast appreciation than I had before, Because my friends are an Artist and a musician. Even the mechanics, like zooming in to something in the distance just blows my mind for all the cinematic possibilities or even how they manage to do this on a 5 year old game

Overall I find it funny that the worse thing to happen to azeroth, is the best thing to happen to WoW

What am I looking forward to in Cataclysm? WoW that is a loaded question, and I dont think I have room to put it all down.

As a warrior (main) who loved dual wielding two one handers as fury spec I can't wait to see, and try, how the new mechanic for making this viable above level 59 is. The speed of a rogue, power of a warrior, and in plate...woohoo

Flying in a revamped Azeroth with new quests. I have stopped leveling some alts just to have a new leveling experience.

I am also a profession freak so I can't wait to see what has been done to all of the skills for new recipes, and the new archeology.

Goblins, Worgens, and bears oh my. A goblin rogue or warrior should be a blast. The horde finally gets an ankle biter, but way cooler than garden gnomes,IMHO. With Worgen I may actually have an alliance character that I play. They just look tough.

Goblin mount, need I say more. Warcraft and old Warhammer board game models combined. Yeehaw

New starting zones and the changes to the cities. Hopefully all the cities will have more appeal to be utilized than they are now.

Cataclysm in a nutshell, sweetness.

I'm looking forward to the new expansion as a whole, but mostly I like the changes (and possibly improvements) to leveling alts. The game wont get boring after you ding 85 on your current lvl 80, many things will be changed and there will be many things to explore. I am also looking forward to the complete redesign of the talents. Now when leveling you will feel like a holy paladin from lvl 10, not lvl 40+, a multilate rogue from lvl 10, not 50, and so on.

I'm excited for many things:

- Flying in the old world
- Big paladin changes
- The return of cc in dungeons and raids
- Potential implementation of DX11 which has the potential to lead to multi-gpu support
- Taking part in the Cataclysm event. I didn't pay enough attention during the Wrath event, even though I was around. This time I'm going to do the quests and such to see what's going down.

I just got the "refer-a-friend" two-passenger rocket for getting my ten-year-old daughter into Azeroth. I am looking forward to being able to take her as a passenger on a rocket tour of the new flight-enabled and Cataclysm-devastated old world.

What I'm looking forward in the new Cataclysm? Let me turn it over to my experts, Yakkov (Tauren Warrior) and Cormac (Human Paladin):

-----

Cormac: Thank you. I'd say the chance to soar over Stormwind above it all to shine the light over the realm from the back of my Griffon.

Yakkov: Yeah, whatever. We needed cold weather mods in Northrend for my dragon...but warm weather was too much? Give me a break.

Cormac: And a new realm of wrongs to right in Azeroth, an end to that public works bridge project in Lakeshore, and a way to take out Undercity from the air.

Yakkov: Yeah, the new quests are...wait a sec...Undercity?

Cormac: You never liked the forsaken...so what's your beef?

Yakkov: Beef?! Alright, Pally. Now I know why we never talked...we'd kill each other twice as fast. Rargghh! (charges).

-----

So, overall, I like the new quests/redone zones and the chance to fly in the main part of Azeroth.

Can't wait to be able to fly all around azeroth and checking out all the new changes that happened to the world I liked so much to explore.
I'm also looking really forward into trying out all the revamped starting zones for each race aswell as the ones for the new 2 races.
All the talent changes and archeology are also really making me be really excited about Cataclysm
And I'm also looking forward to playing in all the new high level zones such as hyjal, twilight highlands and vashj'ir
And, of course, the new underwater rendering and all the movement and visual effects related to the water

For sure the revamp of the 1-60 leveling experience. I love playing different classes, but suck at leveling, so the 1-60 grind is quite painful to me (although the Dungeon Finder has made it a bit better). Also I've got several friends who play on other servers and this may finally give me a chance to level up a toon on their server to play with them.

I'm very much looking forward to a great number of things in cataclysm. I think the thing I am most excited about, though, is Goblins! I love the idea of finally getting to play a mean little green bastid.

Im curious about death knight blood tanking changes, new dungeons and raids (heroic deadmines :O ),new talent system, new achievements and ofcourse the old zones in chaos.

I will probably start by making a new character (worgen or goblin ofcourse) to explore the new world, atm the zones are quite boring if you already been through them twice
