All in all its the questing. Sure, i'm excited for flying in Azeroth for the first time, or playing as the new races(i'll definetely be playing both), but the leveling up will just be awesome i'm sure. I don't care too much for end game. I am an altoholic and proud of it. I love questing through some places in azeroth and when i realized what Cataclysm would be I immedietely knew i'd want it because of the huge revamp and new content in the leveling process. I'm also excited about the hunter changes. I was in loe with hunters when i started playing but after awhile i got burnt out on them. I just didn't like the hunters mana part of it all, even though i mostly play casters.

If i win you'll probably see me running around on a worgen hunter and a goblin rogue =)

I am definitely looking forward to the new changes to Azeroth! Plus, we'll be able to explore these changed zones on our flying mounts! I am also looking forward to the addition of Worgen to the Alliance. They are a welcome addition in my book! I'm also very interested in seeing how they implement the change between Worgen and Human form. In addition to those changes, I'm also looking forward to the whole idea of Reforging and being able to change the stats of your armor to better fit your class. I think that adding underwater dungeons and zones, along with the addition of water mounts! Overall, I think that Cataclysm will bring a plethora of wonderful changes that will make the game a more enjoyable experience for everyone. I would love to be able to experience these changed in the beta!

Thanks for giving us this opportunity!

I guess what I really want to see and enjoy are the new levels, new content and especially the underwater levelling areas! I'm so wondering how they actually managed to make that doable.. Besides, the ravaged or fully transformed areas of old Vanilla will be so great, if able, I'm going to make a Worgen and do ALL the quests everywhere, just to fully enjoy all the new lore that took its place in the new Azeroth.

Besides, I'd love to see the new talent changes, flying in the fully redecorated Azeroth and the new skills as well as dungeon/raids. As I'm not really a fan of 25 man raids, the new system that 10 man raids have the same loot as 25, this makes me want to do 10 mans even more, not having the thought that I lose on a lot of better gear.

Having read about the new hatred the Horde and Alliance found for each other, I would love to see the new lore-based quests that make the battle even more filled with power over areas that will distinguish the Horde and Alliance even more, as previously the Horde were a little soft, something not thought of such a rough force (Orcs, Forsaken) They will, in the battle of Lordaeron have great influence on each other and try to defeat the opposing faction and the Death Knight that's at the lead of the attack.

The thing that most excites me is the raiding changes. Having been raiding since vanilla WoW in the days before Molten Core was even available to the day I was demoted to a casual ranked player within the guild as Ulduar started, the new raiding change is definitely one of the bigger points for me as it will either shift the guild into doing 25 man raids exclusively or splinter off into smaller groups of 10 mans since it's all one lockout as I understand it.

For me though, since my raiding experience has suffered a large gap between Ulduar and Heroic ICC and I don't really have a chance to catch up now, this new raiding change swings to my favor. I really only have time to do 10 man raids on the weekends and now that 10 and 25 are homogenized, I hope the adrenaline feel that I once had from killing bosses in the 25 mans will come back as I continue to do 10 mans with my regular group of friends in the expansion.

Also, I am looking forward to the new 5 man dungeons as I hear they are a bit of a challenge and it'll be interesting to see how this underwater instance will work. It's too bad there's no collision detection or else when you get hit underwater you'd go floating off one direction while furiously trying to swim back to where you were originally, would make for some fun and interesting times :P

I want to level! Honestly, come burning crusade and wrath, the last thing i wanted to do was set my warrior aside or get him a few more levels to keep tanking big names. But after some of the recent news; the talent trees, worldwide phasing, new orgrimmar and stormwind? I want to level a character of each faction in each zone that gets even the slightest nod by the developers. I want to see the story of the world evolve, and i want to do it with every class more than ever before. The biggest draw to leveling aside from story content, not to deny it the praise it deserves since the dk starting zone, is that any character i level will feel special from level 10. Shield Slam, Pennance, and starsurge right out the gate. Leveling as a whole will just be so much more satisfying, and will finally be a viable alternative to end game. I'm already so grateful for these changes and I want to help make the experience as wonderful as possible for anyone who shoulod stumble into this game in the future. :)

I am most excited about the new guild advancement thing. This coupled with the new quests will really make leveling a lot different. I have gotten sick of doing the same quests over and over, so this is really exciting.
I am also looking forward to the new play styles that are being implemented for paladins and druids. The new eclipse bar makes me think that balance will be the most exciting to play. And Holy Power seems like a good addition to my "in depth" pally rotation.
I'm also hoping that the return to the old world will bring back some old friends. And I can only hope that after Cataclysm my server won't be so dead anymore.

Oh there are so many things that im excited about. From the awesomeness of the goblins to the even more awesomeness of flying all over the old world. But the thing im most excited is that i can finally do something other than raiding and standing around in dalaran. I mean i love this game but its gotten so boring and so tedious. i remember back when i first started and being really fun just exploring and doing quests just playing the game...like its a game. Not anymore though I only do 3 things now run randoms, do raids, and farm for mats to sell. god i cant wait for the expansion to hit so i can play it like a game again.
Also, THE FREAKING GOBLINS ARE AWESOME i already got my elemental shammy heirlooms set and ready to go.

Awesome new talents.
It just sounds like a nice package!

I am really looking forward to the whole revamped leveling system.

Ever since I started playing World of Warcraft, I have tried over and over again to get my friends to try the game. Some refused, simply because of the cost. And those that did try the game complained that leveling was way too boring. With the smoother transitions between zones, and new exciting abilities being introduced at level 10, I expect leveling to be much more interesting and appealing to new players.

This expansion is an opportunity to recreate the largest MMO ever seen. All the mistakes that had been made in the past 2 expansions have a chance to be corrected. Of course, every expansion offers this wonderful opportunity, but then again, the changes planned for World of Warcraft: Cataclysm appear to be by far the largest revamps ever made in an MMO.

What am I most excited about?

Personally, for me, the most exciting thing is the upgrades to the guilds, through guild progression.

WoW is a social entity. True, you can solo, but it's very lonely. The best times I have experienced have been with my guildies or indeed just friends on WoW.

Let's face it, this is a game, yet whole friendships and relationships are built up through the social interaction. For instance, last weekend I had a BBQ at which there were 7 guildies there, 5 of which I would never have had the pleasure of meeting had it not been for WoW.

Cataclysm has a whole raft of new items to entice, intrigue and bedazzle the newcomer. For us seasoned players it will bring massive new content (over 3000 new quests for a start; new races - you've got to love the Goblins, they have Hot Rods!!!!!!, new raids and new gear. It's like that first day in spring when the sun shines and the sky is just the bit deeper blue.

But, above all, I run with my guild. We can now see the true fruits of our efforts, and as ever, this can only help make our family stronger.

Really ecited about Heroic Shadowfang Keep.
When i started playing WOW 1.5 year ago, i remember going to Shadowfang Keep all the time while leveling my Warrior.
After i hit 80, i still like to boost people there - one-shotting Arugal and looting his Robes :D
Looks like we might have a new End Boss in there so looking forward to how the dungeon's gonna change graphicly and Mobs wise.
Excited also about whole Trisfal Glades, Silverpine Forrest and Hillsbrad zones - most of my chars were Forsaken, so can't wait for the whole quest lines there and all Terrain changes - Plague destroyed southshore, New Tarren Mill, Forsaken towns etc.

Im exited about the new World of Warcraft Cataclysm expansion. But I waiting a lot of things from blizzard for the new expansion. Im relay exited about new dungeons an raids, i waiting to be larger and more difficult from the dungeons and raids in Wrath Of The LichKing. Also i like the new quests and the flight mount in Azeroth, LvL 85 is very good too for new experience in leveling. When i see the Goblin gameplay in video i was impressed from the new area of leveling and the realistic new quests. Ending, I waiting from Cataclysm to have the best gameplay that i never played in any RPG game.

Well my moonkin getting some shiny exploding mushrooms mines sounds like one of the best changes to the class i've seen in 5 years :). On top of that all the new talents/spells and the difficulty looks a little more like it did back in vanilla which i will be loving of they keep it that way. New pvp and having to figure out how to use my new mines will be awesome haha.Other then that i guess seeing the new zones, really excited to have a water mount and see the entire water map.

I'm mainly looking forward to being able to fly in Azeroth, and as a result, finally having access to several of the previously unfinished zones. I've always been intrigued by the areas that you weren't supposed to be in, and did my best to get inside them while they were still semi-accessible. It will be interesting to see these zones in their finished state.

As a semi-veteran player,I looking forward in terrains/landscape,and the music of World of Warcraft, the game engine have not change in awhile, with this graphic update it will create a whole new WoW experience in addition enchanting the old experience, such as sun ray, water effect, water reflect ect.Blizzard are a few of those companies that manage to make game play so much more epic with their music, one of a major thing I looking toward in Cataclysm is new zone/raid music, admit it that alot of player now day turn game music off, they're missing ALOT.

What I'm most looking forward to is going back to the "old world", back to those places we haven't really seen or interacted much since the first expansion. Sure, most of us have leveled alts since then and visited old zones frequently on those, but there hasn't any significant story progression in old continents, Mankrik is still looking for his wife and Stratholme has been burning for five years. It would have been easy for Blizzard to just make up a new world or continent for third expansion, but thankfully they acknowledged the fact that 1-60 content is badly outdated in both quest mechanics and storyline. Most of the quests also involve dealing with threats that have been defeated many years ago, in Plaguelands players have been fighting against organized Scourge but Lich King has been imprisoned and most of his lieutenants destroyed. In that situation it makes sense to re-shape Azeroth and bring it to present day where Scourge has been mostly wiped out and players are returning home after leading a successful campaign on Northrend. Now developers will have free hands to come up with new stuff without having to worry about continuity, new players will finally experience WoW as it is today and old players can go exploring the world and enjoy some nostalgia whenever you encounter something you recognize from the old Azeroth.

Being a vanilla WoWer, I am most looking forward to quest grinding for the first time in a long time. Instancing is nice, but only with questing do you get a full feel of the lore and the internal struggles of both sides, Horde and Alliance (although I will be questing with the Horde=D). Shiny new talents always get my blood going as well!

The thing im looking most forward to, is trying to level in the new content, seeing how it works leveling as either Worgen or Goblin, trying out many new quests, and just try the different new things Cataclysm have to offer..

I have been following the preview's there have been released for Cataclysm so far, and each time im hoping more and more to get a Beta key to try out and see the things for my self, it really looks like Blizzard is doing an awesome work with Cataclysm..

The new fight mechanics in Cataclysm, the 5man dungeons etc, sounds really interesting and seeing how the different things work, cant wait to get beta access or wait for release..

And im like really excited about the small changes, aswell as the major changes in the zones..
I started playing in Vanilla, and my first character was a rogue, which i played alot in Vanilla, but i have never gotten a Beta key to get en exclusive look at expansions before any of my friends..

So getting a Beta Key for this, and annoying my friends will just be the best that have happened to me in the history of World of Warcraft..

I am very much looking forward to rediscovering Azeroth. aswell as the all new Tauren Paladin/priest implemation. once it goes live, im very much certain my belf paladin turns into a Tauren, but i would like more first hand info on them anyway.

I also look forward to testing the "new" hunter. the hunter have been my favorite character through all the time i have played WoW, but i have become concerned with the huge changes up ahead.

To be honest, I'm not a big PvPer, Leveler or Raider. I like to play casually with my friends. I am eager to explore the new world, and find great locations to role play at and meet up with friends. I'm very curious about the new world and I cannot wait to put a hoof print in every single corner of it!

So far I am most looking forward to is the over all difficulty of things. I have found that most Wrath of the Lich King boss fights have been -7 minutes long so it made it really easy to just overpower a boss. Most of the bosses have been about "How quick can I zerg this boss down without dieing" which (from the 5 man videos I have watched) seems to be changing the focus more towards endurance. A lot less luck will come into play with the boss fights making them harder.

I am also looking forward to the 10 and 25 mans dropping the same loot so I don't feel as if I have to do the 25 mans in order to get my 10 mans done. From the point of Wrath you pretty much had to do 25's to succeed in 10 mans or you would cripple yourself severely.

what blizz are doing to the game is very brave but i admire the mentality , the fact they have realised the flaws in the game and are determined to fix them . im looking forawrd to cataclysim because the nature of raiding and the size of my friend guild are going to be more compatible . being obligated to join 25 man guild to get decent gear to be able to compete in pvp and then do ten mans with my guild demanded to much time . but (shock) i have a life too . now im going to be able to do the things i like in the game without it being so consuming . those thinging being able to really concentrate on progress with my friends , reap the rewards then go pwn in pvp without the hastle and pressure of 25 man raiding and the disapointment when people dont show and it dosent happen .

its not just the releace of cataclysim that intreagues me , it will be all the content patch they releace during this expantion and the storys and locations that go with it . they have the whole world to play with , the game will feel like its set in this vast place called azeroth and not just on the island whcih this expantion happens to be set on .

in summary BRING IT ON BLIZZ
