I am most excited to start the game again as a Worgen Warrior. The Warrior has always been my favorite class in WoW and I personally am loving all the changes they are getting in Cataclysm. The new talent trees are really nice in my opinion, Arms is finally looking to be really viable in a PVE setting. Single-Minded Fury is a godsend in my opinion, I can't wait for it. Titan Grip is cool, but I never have been a fan of slow attacking, I like speed and when they phased out one handers for warriors in Wrath, it was a bummer for me. Been playing a warrior for 5 years now and never have been more excited to play one again. Would love to get a chance to give my input on how it is shaping up. On top of that, the Worgen are just plain awesome. What is more cool then a Werewolf in full plate armor, riding a chopper?

All that being said, the changes to the old world are something I have wanted in WoW since Burning Crusade. It was sad going back to like the Eastern Plaguelands or Blackrock Mountain to find them abandoned after so long. Will be nice to see new life breathed back into the game as a whole, instead of just adding on new content and forgetting the rest. Can't wait to see all the new revamped zones.

The best thing about Cata are dwarven mages and shamans, can't wait to change my shaman's race to the d0rf! :D And ofcource level up a mage in a renewed azeroth with a new quests and instances and hopefully farm some goblins without losing Booty Bay's rep.

Well... archeology also seems to be exciting with all these paths of titans - gives opportunity to customise your character even more. Really worried about changes of holy and disc priests, hope they won't be nerfed so it would be nice to take part in testing priest's talents.

There are three things I am really looking forward to in Cataclysm.

First, I am really looking forward to all the new old-world content. I have leveled many many (many) alts, and I really can't wait for new content to level through.

Second, I am looking forward to the return of CC! I loved the way the game used to be, where you needed to sap, sheep and freeze mobs, and had to plan things out in instances. Now, it's just run in and kill everything. I miss having to actually play the game.

Three, and possibly highest on the list, I cannot wait for heroic Deadmines! I have loved that instance from the very beginning, and am really looking forward to going through heroic!

I'm excited about quite a few things.

I'm looking forward to Vashj'ir a lot. I was really happy when I heard they were adding an underwater area in the game, since there always was The Great Sea that hadn't really been explored yet. It opens the opportunity up to see the Maelstrom which I'm looking forward too as well.

I'm also excited for the new activity at Mount Hyjal. I fell in love with that raid in the Caverns of Time, and I've seen videos of people in the zone, which always made me want to go in there, and with the expansion, I'll be able to. It's an interesting twist to Hyjal's storyline for an elemental lord to attack it (in my opinion) and can only imagine what events will take place there.

What I'm really excited about is being able to play a Warlock as a Worgen. I have never leveled a Warlock very high and being able to play a Worgen Warlock will be two new things at once for me, and thats only counting the race and class. I'll be able to experience Gilneas and the new leveling addition in the expansion. I've played WoW for quite a few years now and have gotten rather tired of the same quests and the same zones, so this is something perfect for long-playing players.

I'm excited about Deathwing himself being the main bad guy of this expansion. I liked Deathwing's character because he is a dark one, but wasn't always corrupt. Blizzard looks like they've given him a lot of flavor and hopefully a worthwhile endeavor to look forward to.

I haven't played in any of the WoW betas, so I'd be really appreciative if I received a key :) thanks for the opportunity!

I'm the most excited for the chance to experience the game as it first came out, since I started WoW a week before Burning Crusade came out. Finally being able to do raids and be challenged with strategic use of mana and skills will be a refreshing new start.

PS: The improved graphics will also be great.

I'm most looking forward to fresh raiding experiences. All of Northrend raiding felt lacking. Also the class changes look beastly. Focus for hunters? Holy power for paladins? Sign me up!

The most important and exciting thing for me when looking forward to WoW: Cataclysm is the opportunity to experience the original world with a new story. I love leveling new toons and I can't wait for a new story line to follow. The terrain will be different, the intended level for that area we knew well will be changed, and the lore will be fresh and exciting.

I'm not sure how many other people have said this, but I'm most excited about the crafting system changes!

Anyone who knows me in-game (Adelpha; Kilrogg server) will tell you that I am easily the most fanatical blacksmith on the server. I'm kept pretty busy, and I make decent money at it. My greatest excitement about Cataclysm can be distilled into a single word: REFORGING.

In the first place, this is going to keep me extremely busy, which means even greater income from my smithing. But it also excites me as a player, since I'm a ret pally. Lots of the dps plate that drops has armor pen, which is awesome for warriors and DKs, but completely useless for us retadins. The ability to turn that armor pen into crit--which I can really, really use--makes me very, very happy. It will also allow Blizz greater flexibility in designing drops, so that they don't have to make plate specifically for retadins, for example.

Also, I seem to recall something about being able to combine two items such that you get an item with A's appearance and B's stats and so forth. Great for deception in PVP, but also just great for those of us who are vain about what our toons wear.

Another change that will hopefully get new blood into all the professions is that making items that are orange for your character may yield more than one skill point per craft. Painful leveling will become less so. This can only mean more crafters in the long-term, which is good for everyone.

In closing, aside from all the changes I'm simply looking forward to the race: the race to 85, the race to 500 BS skill (or whatever the new cap is), and the race to find all the drops and farm all the rep to get the high-end recipies so I can make them for my fellow power-gamers.

HORDE RULES! ^^

I am most excited about the changes to warrior talents. I really enjoyed the original fury spec with one handed weapons and I am beyond estatic that they are bringing back that style of play. It was fast paced hard hitting and just plain fun. That combined with the fact that they will actually have STR one handers is simply and utterly amazing.

Definitely most excited for the guild advancement system. Although the changes to Azeroth and the talent tree changes are close seconds.

Personally i'm looking forward to see the new artwork, Graphics, Water effects and go to the new Zones, Dungeons, Raids and all the other things they're adding in Cataclysm to see the details and play as Worgen, try the new spells for my favored classes and experience Cataclysm firsthand before the majority of others.
i've never really been in any Beta Testings of World of Warcraft before but i'd be really glad if i could for once try something before the rest and see the details in Blizzard's work before my friends does.
I really hope you pick me since i'm really excited about Cataclysm and can't handle waiting much longer to try it.

Since I began playing WoW a few years ago, I've been a bit of a lorehound, and had a fascination with such places as Bael Modan, Uldum, and Mt. Hyjal. You know, inaccessible areas with rich history in the game. The intrigue's been so strong, that in many cases, I'd try for hours (and sometimes days) to find a way into them. I'm so very excited to hear that Uldum and Hyjal will be opening as zones, and Bael Modan as an instance. I can't wait to see what I've fantasized about for years now!

I am extremely looking forward to playing as a worgen, a human hunter, and a tauren paladin in Cataclysm. I also cannot wait for the new profession, Archaeology, or the added Reforging! The other things I cannot wait for are being allowed to raise our current professions all the way to 525, Illustrious is right!

Been betting with the wife that I will never get into the Beta and will have to just wait till the expansion comes out to do my tinkering with the Worgen and Goblin. Will also just have to wait to see the new world other than through your staffs great fly and play throughs. So heres to hoping that I get picked just to prove her wrong. So looking forward to a change of scenary with the reforging of Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdons.

I would have to say the most exciting thing for me would be to get to log on all my alts and choose their new specs and get to play around with the new talents/spells. And of course i'll be rerolling tons of worgen alts, i'm already thinking of a new mage worgen. I'll probably be making a druid and paladin just to level them up as healing specs especially a paladin with all the new spells they're getting. And of course getting to fly over all the new and redesigned zones. But talent trees definitely has me the most excited so far.
