After having quit WoW last December (got burnt out of arena and raiding), one of the things I missed the most was the BG's. I can honestly say that I loved WSG, because I played it everyday, and the thing about Cataclysm that is going to bring me back is the rated BG's and titles, like the old days of vanilla. While my main char (Squirm, Staghelm-US) was only a Sergeant, I really look forward to going back to WSG, AB, and AV (dont like Isle or Strand) to grind my way up to the top.

There are so many new and exciting things that Cataclysm will bring many many hours of enjoyment to us dedicated gamers, but I think that the thing that I am looking forward to most of all is being finally able to play as one of the most beloved or hated neutral characters in the game. The opportunity to play as either a Worgen or a Goblin is very exciting, and they come with new mounts for us to work so hard to be able to use. I of course am also very excited about Flying in Azeroth and the revamping of the lower level beginning areas. This has got to be the largest overhaul of the game since they first went online. I can't believe that the new expansion is capable of making people speechless.

I am most excited about the potential of PvP not being a global fest anymore due to the supposed stamina changes and CC focus that seems to be a theme in Cataclysm.

I am totally excited about the new expansion! I'm almost positive that I'll be changing my NE druid to a worgen druid! Plus the flying and new quests, it's gonna be a lot of fun. Plus, the Druid class changes look like they will make it as much fun as it was to first roll the class.

What im most excited about is comming back to the game after 2 years and exploring the new class talents, new races and and Azeroth.

the new Heroic Deadmines and Shadowfang keep are a big plus, 2 of the most favorite low level instances.
Im vry interested in how smooth the new races are and how well the graphics play out.
Alos wondering how balanced the classes, races " new and old" and how the new races do with there new classes they can be.
and the old races with the there new classes they can be.

Im a big pvper and is dieing if there is new PvP available grounds. like warsong since the forth comming of deathwing.

The thing I'm most excited about is probably Human Hunters. That and seeing all the old zones redone. I've been playing since vanilla so it'll be interesting to see the changes.

As a player who has played since release with multiple alts that I devote fairly equal time to I would have to say that I'm looking forward to pretty much everything. I'm looking forward to all the changes to the various classes, the changes to the world I've been playing in for 5 years, and to the new content I'll have the pleasure of participating in.

I'm looking forward to the changes to hunters, paladins, and resto druids because they are my main classes. And I am really excited about the leveling experience from 1-60, I really can't wait!
I'm hoping to try out the changes to PvP on hunters, because it's going to be radically different from the current environment. I never have gotten around to playing a rogue or messing around with kitty dps on my druid, so I am going to have quite the learning experience with focus management.
To be honest, I am also dying to see more of the gorgeous environment, the sneak peeks just aren't enough! I want to explore the whole world all over again.

Personally I'm looking forward to levelling alts in the new old world, and some that I've retired due to growing bored with it. Flying in the old world is a nice perk too, I wonder what level it will begin at. I'm excited to test Cataclysm if I get an opportunity to because I can provide excellent feedback.

The world wide changes to old Azeroth with the Cataclysm event will occupy me for a very long time exploring every nook and cranny I can find of the zones I thought I knew. I leveled my priest the hard way, as holy, way before I knew anything about recruit a friend or leveling strategies. While leveling, I always got a smile at the smallest of details, things you could walk by every day out there and not see, that really helped to tie the game together.

I read every quest text and took the time to explore dungeons after my group had cleared them, just to get the full experience for what I had been looking at without seeing. Uldaman had to be one of my favorite places to go and just get lost in, there is just so much to look at and wonder at the significance it all has in relation to the lore of the game. A good example of the little details people walk by every day is the Ninja Turtles reference in the Dalaran sewers; if you don't know what I'm talking about, you've missed it a hundred times at least. Even that little jest by Blizz goes unnoticed to the majority of players.

I really can't wait to get a bird's eye view of some of my favorite places as well. I want to fly to Hyjal and see what they have done with it; it was always an interesting instance to visit, or for the more dedicated, jumping destination. The hidden troll village will be much easier to visit and I wonder if there will be any quests surrounding hard to reach areas like these.

Contest or no contest, I'll be just as happy when Cata finally gets its release.

It is an intensely hard decision to pick one major thing that I'm excited about, however, I think the prospect of a 'new' feeling to the entire game would be it. I started playing near the end of Vanilla (Back when Scholomance still took more than five people...), and have enjoyed the game since then, with all the major changes that have occurred. It'll be a delight to experience a massive change to what I'm used to. I was at first skeptical and even dismayed about the expansion... But I've grown to accept that such change happens is necessary for us all. Kind of a cop out answer, but there you have it. Overall versus small details.

Personally, Cataclysm seems like a new opening to the game World of Warcraft. With many fixes to the game and additions, there will never be a moment when I won't know what to do. First off, I am most excited to play as a worgen. I currently play a lvl 80 feral druid tank that is clearing the lich king fight with ease, and with the ability to be druids, worgen seem fit to me wanting to be a werewolf. Flying around freely is another plus, as falling damage when travling quickly will no longer be a problem, and speed of travel will be increased. I am also excited for the new abilities each class is recieving and can not wait to test them all out.
