The thing i'm looking forward to the most, is the new dungeons and upcomming raids. I realy like the fact that we now will exprince some more intresting trash pulls, that will require another strategy to bring them down and not just the old, AoE them down, till they lay on the ground. Like RS, people unestimated it and compared it to OS, even tho it had the same ''apearrance'' like OS they were no near the same, a trash pull with people unfocused could easily make the wipe, specialy with the Commander there. And the mini bosses. The tacts are'nt that hard, but most people were just unaware from the trouble they could cause. And most would go like, omg we wiped on trash? Witch made me laugh and made me even more excited about Catalysm. Because, if the thrash from Catalysm would be anywere near RS, making dungeons could only be described with one word then: awesome!

Hey there allakhazam forums!

I'm looking forward to Cataclysm because of all the reasons. New warchief, new zones, new leveling places, worgens, goblins the whole deal.

Cataclysm has all kinds of new things in store for us. It's removing epics from heroics which I love the most. No more welfare for the new players. They gotta make it hard again like it was in Pre-BC which I miss the most. When I was playing in Pre-BC I absolutely loved it. I leveled a hunter and druid to 60 and raided all the content, leaving Naxx out haha. What really caught my attention also is, the new azeroth. I love this because WoW needs *new* to it. Out with the old in with the new. All these new graphics there adding in is eye catching, breathe taking. I've never seen an MMO with this kind of water like in Cataclysm. Maybe GW had some identical water but not as close. The new zones such as Hyjal, which I've been looking forward to since the beginning of WOTLK when my friend showed me a glitch on getting into it. Also, can't forget the under water zone. That looks so so awesome, and I defiantly want to play in that.

Goblins and Worgens, whoever says the Worgen is gay, I will slap you silly. The Goblins have always been my favorite race. Even when I was playing WAR I was a little greenskin shaman. They are the coolest race imo. They get a huge car for a mount, which I'm very much looking forward to. I actually might make my rogue a goblin once it's available for change. There starting zone looks awesome from what I saw on youtube from TotalHalbut. It's an awesome lore which I'd love to play. The worgens are my second new favorite race. I've always loved werewolves, even since I was a little kid. I do own some action figures of werewolves haha. I do own the full Underworld saga, and I gotta admit those werewolves are BA, they look like the ones in WoW. Twilight, pff go away those are wolves not werewolves. Speaking of races, how about Vol'Jin. He defiantly has got my eye. Regardless if he's a troll, he still is one bad a** guy. Garrosh Hellscream tho, has been my favorite change. Ever since I started WoW he has been my favorite WoW Lore guy. Any man that's on the edge for war deserves to be warchief of the horde. Plus his dad is Grom, the savior of the horde. If it wasn't for Grom the horde might of never been started.

The new way heroics and raids work also has my eye. The way the two point system works, if you don't spend your main points they'll be transfered into lower points. The new Deadmines and SFK also looks legit. I'm looking to go back in there and fighting the new DM boss, VanCleef's daughter.

The new guild system also looks awesome. I remember in WAR the way that setup was I loved it. It works better and makes the guild look good. Also looking forward to new achievements and mounts to farm :).

Please please please pick me for a cataclysm beta invite. I haven't been having the best luck with anything in my life right now, my girlfriend of 3 years left me, my mother passes away a month ago due to cancer, I lent a friend of mine 500 dollars to pay off a doctor bill and he completely shut me off from him after... all kinds of bad things. I've been wanting to get into beta since it was released and of course I'd never get an invite in my life. I just really hope you pick me, this would make my month, even my year.

Thanks... - Jake Hesse

Its got to be the world pvp that comes from everyone leveling once again. Theres realy no time like it in all the rest of the time playing. No flying mounts truly helps as well. Second most would probably be the change to heroics not dropping epics maybe we will actualy look forward to blue rewards at 85 again? one can only hope

I'm really excited about the Goblins! These little Dudes are such a perfect addition to the Horde, maybe a little too perfect, since they gave them... THE BOMB!
Is their Mount really gonna be a Go-Kart?! Imagine being killed by a Goblin Death Knight on a Go-Kart.

The thing I am most excited for is DESTROYING THE DESTROYER! I have always wanted to face off against Deathwing since March of 2005 when I first hit 60. He is like my Joker.

But also, the worgen starting zone looks epic with all the massive lore behind it all and also the new Guild UI (perks and leveling and all) looks like an epic addition, GO GO MASS RESSURECTION!!!

I'm most looking forward to the changes to Azeroth and the new leveling experience - many of my RL friends stopped playing WoW because leveling up was boring them, and I hope Cata will bring them back into the game.

I am really looking forward to this expansion. It certainly has potential to be the best expansion yet. I am really looking forward to questing in Azeroth again. It will actually be fun to level.

All the new lore and questing mechanics will be great. The best part in my opinion is all the steps Blizzard has taken to improve all aspects of the game. They've implemented new talent trees that allow for the player to feel as if they are choosing the tree they want rather than cookie cutter trees.

The new spell training system with no ranks and the UI announce your new spells will also be helpful.

Another great addition is all the new game mechanics, for example; Holy Power, Eclipse, and Soul Shards.

First off, I'd like to thank ZAM for holding this contest! Good luck to everyone who participates!

I am very excited to play as a goblin. Every single year during Hallow's End I beg through trade chat for people who had the pirate wand to transform me into a goblin pirate! I just love those little crafty money grubbing, schemers so very much. Everything about them interests me, not the least of which being the very WoW/GTA-esque introduction on Kezan that I've heard so much about! Their semi-modern, while still fantasy setting makes them a perfect addition to the game, and I'll enjoy tip toeing around in the shadows as a tiny green rogue. I keep checking my battle.net account (about every 15 minutes too) to see if I got in so I can jump in and level a goblin up, testing my favorite race in updated favorite classic zones.

I personally, as a new player (a few months), am interested in exploring the world all over again, seeing the sights, and googling in awe at the crazy stuff out there. I think the Playing as a Worgen would be so sweet and whats better is they are on Alliance my favorite faction, but those goblins look cool too, might try out Horde too for a bit to see whats up (that reminds me I need to look into that before stuff gets replaced). The worgen are a new race, a whole new lore cash just waiting to be mined and absorbed into my mind and the world that is WoW, and a new animal thing to talk about on the alliance (I wonder what worgen druid kitty form is like?), plus I can look like a fierce carnivore thing, while wearing a pink dress (lol) as I chase down some Defias guys as they flee in terror. Also i can go out and go goblin-punting, because gnomes have suffered gnome-punting alone long enough!

Personally, the original Azeroth was the thing that got me hooked, I mean, it was boring at times, but that was because it was soooo big, and there where so much random things, and tons of pretty stuff too. with Azeroth getting a makeover, I know I would be tantalized by it all over again. Plus I'd get to see more reality bent stuff, which was something I liked in BC.

And last but not least, they are gonna bring in fights with mechanics that we don't know already, it's gonna be hard again, not to mention most of the fights are gonna be epic again. >.<

And then I would see Deathwing, and go splut. Awesome.

I am really looking forward to the new leveling experience, as well as the new class/race combos. I am turning into such an altoholic, the more combos there are, the better the game is in my opinion! I just wish Ally got one more paladin race! (worgen paladins please)

The thing I am looking forward to the most are the class changes. I absolutely love what they are doing to the hunter class, as I hate mana. Also since you start with a pet it looks amazing. Can't wait for the game to be released so I can level myself a Goblin Hunter :D.

Combining a Worgen with the changes to the Hunter class sends shivers down my spine with the possibilities. Add in the changes proposed to the guild system and interface and I will be out there on day zero with cash in hand. I fought for a long time against playing MMORPG's and now Wow is factored into my budget just like food and mortgage...Cataclysm lends promise to the joys yet to come.

Personally, I can't wait to play though the revamped old world. This is something that WoW desperately needed as the old world was filled with boring quests and broken quest chains. I like how they are using phasing with the new zones and I want to see how it will work out.

I also like how dungeons won't be the AoE fests that they are right now. Too many players are used to just spamming an AoE attack and aren't learning proper raiding skills. It makes pugging even the simple raids like ToC frustratingly hard. Good job Blizzard bringing back CC and interrupts.

Some of the things that caught my eye were not the new races, which were expected, but the new stat system and PvP. The way Blizzard removed many stats such as armor penetration and attack power which remade the whole system got me very excited for the upcoming expansion. It seems to me that this system will reduce confusion and would gladly like to look into it more than from my readings. Also the PvP system that they are implementing is much more lenient towards the casuals which is great because WOTLK make it hard to get the best PvP items which were reserved only for the hardcore arena teams. The rated battlegrounds are one of the best additions that Blizzard could invent seeing how many people like them and they are very different from one another. The return of the PvP titles is to me the best thing Blizzard could do seeing how with these titles people have something else to strive for other than getting gear to kill people easier in arenas and get 310% epic flying mounts. I hope you will give me the chance to enjoy these changes and try out the new PvP system and even the new raid, which look very well put together, especially the new bosses.

I've been playing WoW since a couple of months after release, and I must say that I've never been as excited for any expansion or new content in this game before. Flying mounts in the old zones? Mount Hyjal and Uldum as full-fledged zones? Freaking GOBLINS as the new Horde race!? Count me in, I say!

However, it's very hard to choose one thing as my absolute favorite. I can't wait to see the storyline unfold, and as an altoholic, I'm already lovin' the overhaul to lowbie questing. If I had to choose one thing though, it would have to be the entire feeling of the expansion. I'm looking forward to the game I love being epic and fresh again!

Lastly, I would absolutely love to leave feedback on a bugged or broken quest in the beta, only to see it changed for the better in the finished product. It would really make me feel like I had contributed in making Cataclysm what I hope it will become, the greatest WoW expansion so far.

Im really looking forward to seeing the orginal world in a new light, and from a birds eye view! Not to mention the new leveling paths, races and the changes to classes. As a long time player though I have to say Im really excited that 10 and 25man dungeons will drop the same level of loot so that more home style close knit guilds without a ton of people wont have to deal with pugging just in order to get the best loot available.

What I am most excited about is starting over from scratch, playing again with a "reincarnation" of the first character I ever created - which I ended up deleting for some reason - and going through the whole leveling experience once more. It was a dual wielding Night Elf Fury Warrior. He was a hurricane of steel (now possible once again thanks to Simgle Minded Fury), a vulcano of boiling blood, a slayer of demons and aberrations, and a warden of the ancient forests of Kalimdor. Deathwing, I will build a house inside your skull after I cut your head off.
