Cataclysm Closed Beta Key Contest!Follow

I'm mostly looking forward to the new the old-world zone changes. Bit of nostalgia sets in now anytime I traverse the old world and I cant help but take countless screenshots so I remember what it "used" to look like. This also gets me excited on rolling new class/race combo's and experiencing the newly revamped style of questing. I remember how much of a pain it was questing in one continent and having to travel all the way over continent to find some good quests to get me through some of those levels.

I think what I am most excited about when Cataclysm is released, is to be able to have that same exciting experience i had when i first started playing World of Warcraft. The unknown of what the next area would look like, where it would take my toon, the quests i would have to accomplish. With previous expansions, some things changed, a new continent, etc., but nothing as large as this will be. Very excited to level up a new character from the start and feel like a noob again :)

I am so excited for Cataclysm, I don't think I can pick just one thing! I play both Horde and Alliance, so I'm looking forward to rolling both worgen and goblins. I would love to try out some (if not all) the new race/class combos in the beta as well. Having leveled several alts (6 to 80 so far) I'm excited at the overhaul to Azeroth. It will make leveling new alts exciting again. I'm also very much looking forward to the new 80-85 content, new dungeons, and new raids as well!
I'm also very curious about the new talent trees and can't wait to test those out. I have a lot of high hopes for Cataclysm! :)

I guess what I am looking for is a new experience. After having 10 80's 5 of them over 6k gs+ I am running out of steam. I need something to re assure myself that the next expansion really is the game I am looking to play for the years to come. I can't bring myself to level a new toon and I am desperately hoping it has changed significantly in the leveling process. From new races to new class / race combo's I am very excited with what might be coming down the pipe.

I really hope getting into the beta brings me a step closer to again really enjoying the game that I loved for so many years. That coupled with the ability to hopefully help shape the expansion and give my feed back to structure this game for the better for my fellow players.

As you can see by my profile and creation date, I have been a long time member of this site and WoW. Please feel free to check my OLD 60 capped characters that I have in it. Kind of nostalgic to see how the game used to be and where it has come. Looking at my old chars definitely brought back some fond memories.

I'm really looking forward to both the pre-expansion events, which I hope Blizzard goes all out on, and the fact that the world is going to be so drastically redesigned. It's giving the game a much-needed facelift that will freshen things up and hopefully reignite excitement for players that have been with the game for longer periods of time and may feel burned out right now. From what I've seen so far, it looks like this is going to be the best expansion yet-- I can't wait!

It's been a good 6+ months since I've logged into WoW. I made the decision that it probably is not worth going back to game until something big happens. Cataclysm is that something big. Probably the biggest expansion yet, the most thing I'm excited about is coming back to the game and experiencing all the new content.I want to level a worgen and go through all the zones and see what has changed. I literally cannot wait any longer though, I wanna check out all the new content now!

I am personally ecstatic to experience the brand new flavor and style of the old world leveling zones. From what I've seen, Westfall and Tirisfal got a lot of love and I would love to see it personally. I've always loved the art in World of Warcraft, and the direction they've taken undead buildings in old Azeroth is nothing short of spectacular.

Also, Worgen. Werewolves are my favorite horror setting creatures, and now I can finally play one.

Also, new race/class combos. I'm an alt-aholic, and am already slavering to make a dwarf shaman or a Tauren paladin.

Also, the new talent tress. They look far more thought out, concise, and useful than ever before. And the idea of "feeling" like your spec early on is brilliant.

Also, Deathwing. I've got me some hardcore internet dragons to kill. And as everyone knows, WoW is about internet dragons.

Curiosity. New. Shiny. EXPLOSIONS. LAVA. GIANT HAMMERS. SMASHING THE CRAP OUT OF EVERYTHI--

What am I most excited about in Cataclysm? By far it has to be seeing Blizzard redesigning almost all of Azeroth. I am most excited to see how good old Kalimdor will be affected by the Cataclysm. Remembering all the quests there from the very top in freezing Winterspring to the humid jungle of Un'Goro Crater. I will be anxious to see how every little spot on every zone has been changed for the better or the worse because of the Cataclysm. Even right now I am really longing to hop on my flying mount to get an incredible view of Kalimdor and see every zone in a new light from the safety of the sky (so long as Deathwing isn't flying about). I finally wish to see how battles between not only The Horde and The Alliance progress but the battles with those who we once fought on our great adventures through Azeroth on our way the great level 60 where we would finally say goodbye to Kalimdor.

I can't wait to see how they change all of the old quests in Azeroth and what it does to the leveling system. I also can't wait for the guild lvling system and OP Priest's.

I am most excited about the new talent system! and the new spells. I have a paladin, druid, Death Knight and Hunter level 80 and i am most excited about the focus system and also the new rune system that Death knights gets. also what i saw from some of my friends inn the beta test that paladin gets a new ability that is called holy power and that trick i used to do more damage and it can stacks up 3 times. and i am a heavy PvE player and i love that more then PvP because when i enter a dungeon or a raid then i just LOVE! to look around and see what they have just made. i am excited of the new horde and ally main base (orgrimmar and stormwind) see how much they added to orgrimmar and how much stormwind is destroyed! I wanna also try and see they basic quest line at all the races now and try the new classes like holy cow and warrior belf etc. I also wanna try the new races the goblin and worgen. and also the quest line and see there story behind them. i think this is going to be exciting for me as a WoW player! i have been playing for for almost 5 years now and i think this one will be the best game so far! all the changes and the stuff and all the adding inn. And one of the biggest think that i wanna see is the changes in all the zones!!!! and see the lava going and destroy most part of the old zones and i am also excited to level again in the old zones and see the new mobs or the monsters, dungeons, raids. and i also saw the new PvP battle grounds and they look kind of cool :) and i like it how now you can join as a guild and be a PvP guild farming for Honor and achiv and see how the new guild system it is SOOOO cool that you can now get a level inn a guild as a guild master my self i think this is going to help me AND! my guild so much and just because of all those changes i think more players will join wow again and keep on playing even those who quited inn the pass wanna join again because of the changes and because of all the new stuffs thats just what i think and what i am most! excited about the new game of World of Warcraft ; Cataclysm and i think i am a social and good person and i have done a wow beta test before so i like to respond and tell the blizzard employs what i think of the quest lines and changes. :) thank you for reading this and i hope you enjoyed it

With cataclysmic changes to the world of Azeroth and sweeping changes to the current system, I'm most looking forward to a chance to recapture the greatest feeling in an MMO, the feeling of "new." New places to explore, new quests to complete, new abilities to master. I've played WoW for years and killed many a demonic presence, ancient God-being, undead monstrosity, and squealing pig-person, but the best moments are when you leave Northshire for the first time and step out into the world. When you take your first steps through that dark portal to see Outlands. When you board that initial boat to Northrend. The feeling of seeing the new for the first time and the breath of life given to the old, that is the reason I am most looking forward to this expansion.

The reason I'm looking forward to playing Cataclysm the most.... well, I'm torn apart. It's either playing through the wholly revamped(and hopefully, improved) 1-60 leveling experience or seeing how the new raid system will work out, or the new 31-point talent trees. I'll have to go with the last one.

My main is a Protection Warrior, Creotor on Windrunner.
Despite seeing a lot of complaints coming from many classes and specs about the new trees, I am extremely happy with how Protection's talents are working out so far.
Right now, in its still unfinished state, Protection offers quite a few different builds such as single target dps/tps, survival spec with improved healing/self-healing, AoE tanking and even a utility oriented build. I haven't seen this much diversity in builds and their purpose and effectiveness since I started playing (mid TBC).

I am anxious to try out all the new talents, see how they fit together and whether they contribute to the whole warrior-y feel or not.
