I am super super super psyched for the new 1-60 and the changed lore. What's a cataclysm without a great legendary story. ALL the new content; Worgens, goblins, classes, talents, azeroth as it is to come. I'm ready, I want it all. Ready about cata almost made me stop playing current wow, hahahahaha.

There are several things in this expansion that I am anxious to see and try out. However the thing I most want to test out are the worgens and their starting area. I am also anxious to try out the numerous new race/class combinations and how they work those classes into the lore. My favorite choice being the dwarf shaman.

I'm looking forward to finally using all the BOA gear and the other items and enchants that I've been stashing for my Worgen rogue!

I am excited and hopeful that with the Cataclysm expansion, will come a revival of world pvp. When i played Vanilla wow, world pvp was amazing. Leveling up on pvp servers was so much fun, constantly alert for people to come and gank you, groups being formed in order to combat a level 60 scrub who was intent on ruining your leveling experince; the satisfaction of a group of lower levels working together to take down a level 60 was immense. Through Cataclysm i hope that there will be a mass re roll, through both people rolling goblins' and worgens', and people rolling the new class combinations. Through this surge of new characters, i hope to see world pvp prevail once more on pvp servers, people leveling and fighting together, honing your pvp skills as you advance through your leveling journey. World pvp is real pvp, world pvp is where you learn to pvp, and i can't wait to see it come back!

Out of everything that's being released in Cataclysm, there's a few specific things that catch my interest:

  • The guild features released in Cataclsym make being a part of a guild more meaningful then just having a few words under your name. It should greatly encourage the loyalty of members and the contribution that each one makes to further progress their guild as a whole. It has much more of a sense of community.
  • While I can't exactly say that I'm extremely optimistic about the new talent trees, I understand the goal and think it can turn out to be something great. If it simplifies the game for newer players while still leaving the dynamic decisions that veteran players enjoy, it'll have the best of both worlds..
  • More than anything else, I'm really interested in the slow-paced PvP combat design that a lot of arena players came to know and love when it was introduced in TBC. It's hard to deny that PvP was much mroe than a couple abilities off death in vanilla, and it seemed to come back to that sense of WotLK. I'm extremely optimistic about the damage:health:healing ratios being resolved

Personally as a long-time healer, I'm looking forward to how the healing mechanics will work with the new stat system. I'm partly looking forward to an increase in difficulty and it to be more based on my skill as a healer rather than my mana pool or mp5. Other than that, flying in Azeroth is going to be a godsend time-wise, especially when it comes to grinding those gathering professions that you blew through because you were too busy collecting triple exp with a friend from the RAF program.

I think that the new classes are going to be great. I think that the goblin my help balance out the horde to Alliance ratio. I am looking forward to the Uldum zone. It looks great and what i have it is going to have an Egyptian flare. I am interested to see how the rest of the world of Azeroth is going to change.

I am excited about trying out my Hunter with all the new major Hunter class changes. Not having to buy ammo any longer is a big plus. It will save me on stress, gold, and bag space. I can not wait to see how utilizing focus instead of mana works out. I also am looking forward to playing with the new re-vamped talent trees to see which combination of points best matches my style of play with my Hunter.

Thank you.

Well my biggest reason is to check out specifically the new changes to my 2 favorite classes: Druids and Warriors. I want to look into that alot so I can already start to learn how to use them with their new abilities and the fact that we're going to loose Tree Form I desperately wanted to see how that would work out and if I could try changing Blizzards mind if I don't like it!

Also one thing also that I'm really excited is the Worgen race and its starting zone, like when I see the screenshots and they appear in human form I just desparetly wanna see them cause I just loved how their clothes are and I really wanna see its full story!

SO I'm hoping to get this Beta Key even though there's probably a bunch of people signing up!

I'm most excieted for the new Paladin overhaul with new new Holy Power mechanic. I've been playing a Holy Paladin for 3 years and while I enjoy it, it's really boring sometimes. Now with Word of Glory and a slew of other new abilities and the new talent trees, I can't wait for Cataclysm!

I am most excited about all the changes that will be done in Old Azeroth. Since i am so used to the old one, it will be a funny experience going around in the New Azeroth. And to add to it the possibility that you now can fly around in Azeroth is very cool. In this way you can see much more and you know that they must have done much graphical wise since they are bringing flying mounts to Azeroth.

Also i have been looking at the Goblins new starting place, it really caught my interest with the exotical look. It really got me interested.

Currently, I am most excited for the guild perks system.

Usually, I participate in small two or three player guilds, though most of us in that guild end up with severe altitis. I am very interested in the guild perks system for the enhancements to ease the process of getting an alt to level cap, as well as seeing how many perks the handful of players can obtain alone.

I'm really looking forward to how interesting they made the low-level content. All these neato cinematic event quests should be incorporated into lowbie quest aswell imo. Leveling an alt should actually be fun this time around in Cata :)

The thing i'm most looking forward to is of course the new shaman changes, the new mastery system respectively, should open up a world of new posibilities of customization. The curent elemental masteries are awesome, can't wait to see with enough mastery almost every spell getting overloaded. Spiritwalker's grace aswell, should be really fun in pvp, a bit overpowered at the moment but should be balanced when cata comes out.

Thanks for this oportunity and good luck to the people competing.

I also wanna try to get used to the new spells so that I can start playin high rated BGs with my guild as soon as possible :)
..ofc I will try the new instances as well - but im really excited 'bout the new BGs -- what I've read so far sounds really good :) (hope BGs will open on the beta server(s), never got in a beta :( ..)

I've got a few guildies over there already and I am most interested in the guild progression aspect. I would like to see if this new tool will actually be a catalyst to making the guild more social and active and even a more tight knit group.

I am soo looking forward to the for one, new fresh content.

also am I quite curious about the new racials which make every race unique in their own way.

Tier items will hopefully have a dragonlike look and the most awesome thing I am looking for
is the new Kart mount.. seriously as soon as it's possible to get one I will get my hands on one of those.

Orgrimmar is gonna look sick! Stormwind on the other hand... Alliance are finally getting burned? :D

Basically, I'm looking forward to everything. The new raid content, the new quests, the new engineering doodads, the new spells and abilities, everything. EVERYTHING.
If I had to choose though, I'd probably say new raid stuff. This will be the first expansion that I've been max-leveled prior to the release, so I'll be able to experience the new raid content before it becomes outdone by later patches.

There are many things that I am excited about in the upcoming expansion. (and a few things I'm worried about)

The thing I'm most excited about is the changes to raiding. Being in a small guild unable to do 25mans for a while when LK came out really ham-stringed me and a bunch of players. That 10 mans will drop the same gear as 25 mans and they are fixing the ridiculous low drop rates of 25 mans is nothing short of a god send... I had to kill Marrowgar 16 times to win one Bryntroll.

To be honest i have never been a part of any of blizzard's beta processes so far and that is a reason i would like to witness first hand what wow looks like in a beta period.
Other than that Cataclysm interests me the most in that it comes with a promise of being more difficult than what wow is currently on live as apposed to what i remember it on TBC expansion and a little bit in vanilla since i started almost 3 months before tbc was launched.
Therefore i would like to be given the opportunity to check the new dungeons out and see if everything i hear up to this point is indeed true or just a myth.
The other thing that makes me excited about cataclysm is the whole new class/spec/talents style that is changing along with the play-style changes to specific classes that i would love to play around with(Paladin-Holy Power / Druid-Eclipse etc), plus that some specs will be fun to play with from level 10 like warrior finally having something instant for a change and not having to wait up until level 40 to begin playing.
Other than those reasons i would just want to see for myself the changes to the old world that i literally grew up with :P
