As odd as it may sound, I'm most looking forward to the musical score additions. I've always felt that the in-game music deserves more appreciation than what it gets, as it really helps to immerse you in the range of environments. It can stimulate that calm and serene feeling when you're leveling in the woods, or it can create a heart-pounding feeling of anxiety when you're in a high level dungeon/raid for the first time.

Suffice to say, I was beyond ecstatic when a Blizzard poster confirmed that Cataclysm would be introducing a variety of new compliments to the current ambient soundtrack.

I am most interested in seeing how the relationship of the leaders unfold. Garrosh V. Sylvanas. Garrosh V. Vol'jin. Garrosh V. "Future Tauren Leader." Wyrnn V. "Future Dwarf Leader." Wyrnn V. Greymane.

I am also very interested in exploring every new zone becuase they each have their own sorta story line now that i want to experience.

I am finally interested in the talent changes to the druids becuase they arent looking so fun.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. And perhaps ill see you soon in Cataclysm.

I am TOTALY excited about new Achievments! I'm actually a little scared too! I've only got a few months left to get the one's I'm guessing will be moved to Feats or even un-obtainable in Cata! Like Loremaster and maybe the Insane. I mean if they are adding so many new quests they MUST be doing something to make Loremaster harder! Yet, the world splitting apart has made me start to grind out Classic fractions before they are gone as well! Here's to hopefully I can cuss and swear at the screen going "Ahh I wasted all that time grinding out chevos instead of raiding..."

I have been actively looking at wow-websites and seeing new, exciting information about cata, looking at the new zones, hearing about the new quests, playing with the new 41 point talent trees, and seeing the new guild UI. Overall, my favorite part of cata so far would be the new questing for 1-60 and 80-85. 1-60 is being totally revamped, and I have high hopes for the new zones, quests, and dungeons. For 80-85, its the same as every other expansion for high levels, but in my opinion it will be more exciting than Outlands or Northrend, as the new zones and quests will be integrated with the old continents of Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor.

For me, it's the entire revamped leveling experience. I mean, everything from the new zones, to the reworked old zones, to the talent trees and being able to dual-wield at Level 10 on a shaman, or having a rogue in 10-19 Warsong that can Shadowstep, all the quest reworks, the change in how quests work, etc.

I'm in fact so excited by this that I plan on starting with a fresh account and only moving over my main from my current account so that I can experience the whole game fresh, with only a bit of cash and some heirlooms to support me.

Oddly, it's not the new races that are really interesting me for leveling, but what's been done to the original areas, like Durotar and Dun Morogh, Elwynn and Mulgore, even Teldrassil interests me.

Eventually, I'll either come back to my current account and level all of those, or at least push my main to 85, and I am looking forward to raiding and the lore that will be unfolding, but where I think the BEST lore and the most engrossing stories will come from is the overall 1-60 experience.

The thing I am really looking forward to is the new talent trees, I play a Prot warrior, resto shammy and hunter and all three trees look interesting.

I am also looking forward to the return to having to think in dungeons like vanilla and TBC.

Of course the most exciting thing for me now is class changes. I've been playing my warrior for a really long period of time and I glad to see some good changes to our class in cata ( more stamina, finally ae talents in one word: woot )
Of course re-doing of low-level zones especially starting zones makes me wanna make a new alt
I've seen videos of tauren starting zones by Blue Piz! and there ain't enough words to say how excited I am
The thing that interests me in beta is..frankly it's testing. We all know that wotlk wasn't as good at the start as we excepted it to be.
I missed previous beta so I hope I could get in a new one and 'd try to do as much as possible

The thing i'm looking forward to the most is the statement blizzard made about epics being epic again. I really really hope that they will make heroics and raids hard again, and epics to be something you have to work for not spend 15 minutes in utgard keep and recieve tokens wich you can buy the best tier of gear with.
And as a paladin I'm also looking forward to trying out the holy power resource wich looks very promising indeed.

I would really like a beta key because my friend is already in the beta, w8ing for me :( she wont even try the new races starting areas untill i get one! :O
She is a loyal friend, and i dont want to make her w8, i feel kinda bad :( I keep telling her to just go and play cuz it might take some time for me to get a key, but she just says "nah its no fun exploring by my self, no one to share it with"
That is my strongest reason, but i also LOVE LOVE LOVE the Warcraft lore! so im really exited to see what they have done to the old world!
The first thing i plan to do is test paladin, shaman, rogue and mage talents, so i can give Blizzard lots of feedback on what i thought and found. then im going to enjoy the GOBLIN starting area, the islands look so lush and amazing! :)

Thank you for reading and GOOD LUCK to everyone!

Edit: Fixed some spelling :P

I am looking forward to a lot of things in the Cataclysm expansion. I think the thing I am looking forward to the most is the total revamp of so many maps. Old maps given a new breath. It is going to be awesome to explore these old lands with a new look. It's like a new game without leaving WoW.

I'm also totally ready to roll myself a goblin hunter and get myself a bomb-throwing monkey as a pet. Also the new focus on PvP. I love PvP. I tend to do more bg's than I do dungeons. But definitely over all I'm looking forward to the new maps.

The main thing I am looking forward to when Cataclysm comes out is a new interest in WoW.

Of course I want to play as both races.

But leveling in a "new" Old World will be amazing.

New zones, 5-mans, raids.

Everything about Cataclysm excites me in all honestly.

I can't wait to play it.

I am Really excited about the phasing and the new quest/story lines. got me really excited in wotlk doing quests in dragon blight, ice crown, and storm peaks. it was the only place i wanted to play on my alts, since it was the only place where phasing really played a big role in quest lines. it just makes you feel like you and completed something and it will never change back. nothing worse then seeing something that you have spent time to complete and it just rests.

I am so looking forward to the new textures and the revamped instances, wailing caverns, and shadowfang keep. i remember doing them so long ago, i so can't waite to do them at the higher level and i will actually have to work hard to kill them instead of the one shoot kill.

[SPOILER ALERT]

Personally, i am exited about a few things:

1. The lore, ive always been a bit of a lore nerd and a lot is changing in cataclysm, thrall handing garrosh leadership of the horde and joining the earthen ring. Neptulon fighting on our side (?!?!?!?!?!!) What seems like old god presence in the twilight highlands. Sinestra's return in blackwing decent (or at least one of the blackrock mountain raids, cant remember which) and how garrosh will lead the horde, we have been shown both his sides and i think it would be interesting to see how his story plays out.

2. Raids: It seems that blizzard are putting more time into making encounters unique as it seems with what i have seen from the videos of throne of the tides and stonecore and i hope to see some more variety in cataclysm raids, especially more encounters like Gunship and Lich king hc, the two polar opposites if you will :P

3. Guild perks system, yes it is sad that we lost the guild talents but it is still a good idea, it makes it more worthwhile to stick in the same guild, it should help cut down "guild hoppers" and bring in a new sense of depth between progressing guilds.

4. Last but not least (well... it is the smallest implementation of the 4 so maybe the least :P) the Goblin/Worgen starting zones: The goblin starting zone looks like a lot of fun with some unique quests, it does have a flaw in that it doesnt really help you learn the game and gives you the wrong idea of it so a first time player rolling a goblin once he/she(yes girls do play wow!) leaves the starting area they might get a bit of a culture shock. On the other hand: the worgen starting zone looks very nice, it does look like it would teach you about the game and it does it well, showing you the different quest types and using phasing it shows a very good sense of progression and storyline to the zone.

Well, thats my 4 exiting aspects of cataclysm, the most exiting of all though, is definately:

Getting a beta key from the Zam team :)
Your's Sincerely

I am most looking forward to creating alts with all the exciting new content in old Azeroth! The only reason I don't have many high level alts is because re-leveling characters has been so boring and takes so long. I am really excited to fill my account with a lot of different classes to try out at the max level for raiding.

The changes to original Vanilla WoW are probably the most intriguing for the simple fact that it changes the way the game is going to be played. When you level multiple characters you begin to have a preset leveling route and this change to all the landscape and quests is gonna really be nice for new and veteran players. Although these changes are nice, as a PvPer the way Blizzard goes about PvP is gonna be the most exciting to me.

The thing that excites me the most is the chance to revisit an entirely new and updated scenario from my flying mount! I've always been a fan of Azeroth and levelling chars. Doing it again in Cata will be great! There is nothing better than taking a break from Northrend than to create a new char and start it all over again. I am really looking forward to getting my main char to lvl 85 and to see what all the fuss with the new talents are all about. The prospect of being better and pushing my char harder is what drives me. I just cannot wait! :)

I have been playing World of Warcraft for about 5 years now, and i am looking forward for the Azeroth change! I would like to see my beloved game getting ''fresh'' again. I have been checking all the changes that every place is gonna receive and i cant wait to check em by myself.
Also the new races are interested but the most interesting thing for me is what changes my race (belf) and class (rogue) are gonna receive. I love being a rogue belf and i would like some nice fresh things to keep my interest!

Warcraft lore has always been my favorite part of the gaming universe, from the Warcraft 3 cinematics to the lich kings fall. In this expansion I am most looking forward to the new quests, vol'jin's encounters with garrosh, lorderon becoming explorable, and the new zones. This expansion is definitely a change for the better. =3
