My main since vanilla is a hunter so first and foremost I am dying to see and try out the new focus system. After that I am going to enjoy flying around the old world checking out the sights.

Two Words, Worgen Rogue. I think this will be the most awesome class & race mixture in the game although Dwarf Warlock is also a very cool option. If this lives up to my expectations I may have to stop playing my main and make this the new main.

Peace & Love!

Beside the additions in talent trees, class mechanics, environment, Azeorth major geographical changes, new races, new dungeons, NEW WATER and everything else i have been reading on the web related to the upcoming Cataclysm changes i am most thrilled to play and experience the new Horde race, Goblin.

They are little green mischievous, aggressive and interesting creatures only judging by the neutral factions i have seen so far in the current game; I think it will be amazing to go deeper into the minds and settlements of the goblin's twisted architecture and story board. Apart from being greedy and crafty i think the goblins will be a heck of a ride and especially a funny one.

Thus, so far i am excited about every new change and challenge in Cataclysm but most eager to control my own little green menace.

The biggest and best change for me is getting rid of the overly complex statistical number crunching. Streamlining Attack Power and Spell power into stat based numbers only (removing them from being on items) is great. And then further getting rid of Mp5 and the most reviled stat Defense is great news. Dropping defense will allow a lot more tanks.

I love number crunching, and I did a lot of it in Vanilla and BC, but Wrath late game has taken on a complexity that is beyong most peoples liking. I have found Wrath to be completely alienating to friends I've tried to get into it. My Girlfriend flat out told me she hates Wrath gear.

I think that removing some of this complexity will not make top tier content accessible without making the actual encounters easy. The Artifical barrier of simply not getting the numbers, will be removed and skill will now, rightfully depend on skill.

I can not wait for simple stats, that streamline the game, don't bog it down!

Plus having my spells do mad damage because I have crazy high Int is ten times cooler then some arbitrary stat called Spell Power.

I can't wait to fly in Azeroth, and make a new alt to play with to see all the new quest and changes blizzard made to the 1-60 zones. Plus being able to play a goblin and worgen will be awesome, also I can't wait to level my druid to 85 and see the changes they made to healing.

Most excited? Hmm. First would be the changes to the world, mostly as how many old quests will be unaccessible in Cataclysm, and how I will be able to finish them all off before it goes live >_<
Secondly, new levels, and getting to duo some of the old raid and dungeon content with friends :P Also the new heirlooms, I'm a hopeless altoholic.

Lastly, new class/race combinations. I put off starting a druid even though I liked it, just so I can play troll druids, with their punk forms :p Eagerly waiting to see how the moonkin form looks as a troll.. tusks out of the beak? o.O

I'm actually looking forward to roll a worgen druid and discover the changes made to the world. A class i never played with a race i never played in a world i never played is just the best to make it feel like a whole new experience.
And let's add to that i can't wait to be challenged by the Cataclysm instances that appear to be harder than the WoTLK ones.

I'm most excited about the newly added resource of Holy Power for Retribution Paladins! Having played a ret pally since vanilla wow, a new resource is very exciting. It will also be nice to have Inquisition, something I like to think of as my very own slice and dice-esqe move. Flying in old-world will be sweet, too!

Top 3 things I am excited about:

1) Balance Druid mechanics overhaul. While the current system works, the new system looks intriguing. Instead of Eclipse being entirely reliant upon crits, instead you gain energy simply from casting spells.

2) Gnome Priests and Tauren Paladins. I love playing a paladin. I am seriously considering race changing my Dwarf Paladin into a Tauren Paladin. And Gnome Priests! Finally, the only race without a healing class gets a healing class! (No, Bandage spec doesn't count)

3) Deadmines/Westfall. While I am excited to see all of the new zone changes, Westfall is making me bubble with interest. I have heard that they have changed the zone significantly, to the point where I wouldn't recognize it.

Of course, I am excited about the rest of Cataclysm, but these are my top 3.

I am looking forward to making my Shamman. This is the only class that I don't have a toon for. It's going to be a Goblin Shamman named Pear. Already have the name saved.

Also looking to get a raiding guild up and running come Cata.

Additionally I can't wait to see how they have messed up Resto Druids this expansion.

Wow what are not not excited about!

A new world, new people, experiencing everything for the first time and remembering things that are no longer!

"Back when I was a boy, Desolace didn't have a single tree in it!"

The new classes and race combinations emerging!

"Oh no a Taurn, get him before he goes stea-- AVENGING WRATH WHAT!?"

All the new achievements, mounts, shininess everywhere! For someone who has played long and seen it all, it will be a whole new game starting over but with all the knowledge and characters you love!

"I remember back in the old days, we had to ride Spotted Tigers with NO armor to Molten Core, and it was uphill in snow both ways!"

I just can't wait to get that feeling we all had going into Heroic Culling of Stratholme the first time and getting to experience anything, or back when Black Morass was impossible on heroic.

Wooo! Comon give me a launch date so I can line up at EBGames already! (But I have a DVD drive this time so I wont have to wait 2 days to install it like last time QQ"

The thing that I am looking forward to with Cataclysm is being able to play in the old world again, and actually having players in old world zones again.

I'm most looking forward to new 5 man dungeon sets. I thought that was great fun in BC going around with my buddies and collecting all the pieces prior to getting into raids. Each new piece made you feel that much closer to the bigger content.

Hey there!
It has been fun to play WoW since 2007. We saw some amazing new zones with every expansion pack. But cata is going to bring something more exciting. All of our adventures in The Barrens or Desolace or anywhere else on Azeroth will become history. It will never be the same as we remember it. Deathwing's rise will cause irreversible changes on Azeroth. That's the biggest thing I am excited about. And then, we can go to Mount Hyjal and see Nordrassil & Malfurion Stormrage as dessert.

Hello!

I've been itching to play Cataclysm, mainly because of it's redesign of the old world, and the new quest timeline. It's great to see al those characters from good ol' Classic to evolve according to these 5 years of WoW. Like, the Defias rising anew for vengeance, or the end of the zealous Scarlet Crusade. I also think, for what I've seen in previews, that they're adding a LOT of depth in the new quests, like the ones at Stonetalon Mountains, Western Plaguelands or Silverpine. I really like how they are sorting out the Alliance vs Horde conflict, and I'm really waiting to test it, if I get the chance.

Also, I'd really like to test the new starting experiences, the Worgen one looks very, very nice. I've yet to see the Goblin's in full depth, but surely it has as much details as the Worgen's. I mean, they are using the phasing in a very cool way, which I really like, and not only in the starting experiences, just about everywhere, even old instances like Stratholme.

And last but not least, the new class combos, playing a Dwarf lock will be hilarious, specially if you can be a Dark Iron dwarf, one of my favourite classic factions.

And those are my reasons to play the Cataclysm beta!

Cheeers! and Thanks for the chance!

The feature I am most looking forward to is new starting areas and the two new races. I think that as a person who has finished all the starting areas currently its boring to start a new toon and this will make the game new and even more fun. Plus it gave me a chance to get motivated to finish some stuff out before they release it.
