The part of Cataclysm i'm most excited about is all the changes to Azeroth and being able to fly there. Also, seeing what is in store for all the proffessions as well as exploring the new one Archaeology.

I'm also excited for the upcoming changes to Death Knights and seeing how a dedicated tanking tree works out, along with the stat changes and the Mastery system.

I'm looking forward to try out the goblin and their very own mounts, fly in the "new" azeroth, and hit the level 85 cap!

There's just too much to think about! I've been playing since '06 and so far, the biggest thing is about shamans! AoE heals baby! The earthquake AoE look awesome too, due to the stun it causes. I like everyone else, will roll a goblin purely for the race kart mount and awesome racial. Well, ill probably wait and change my troll rogue and blood elf warlock to goblin. And I decided i probably should get killed by the whale shark at least once :p The mechanics of the new talent system maes me a bit uneasy, but i think in the long run, being able to place that 1 point, and being able to *feel* like you are your spec will make all the difference.

The part of cataclysm I am looking forward to the most is the effect the new level 10 class skills will have on early battlegrounds.

Hello everyone!

In cata the thing I'm most excited about is the new lore that being introduced and the old lore which being evolved. With the change to the old lvling zones Blizz would have a great chance to add in the some new lore and hopefully skip some of the more "useless" quest. Before we didn't notice any diffrence in the world after finishing that long quest chain full of lore which made you a hero. But with the improved phasing we'll now see the changes and results of our efforts, making it feel like you actually took part of the story.

The worgen and goblins also introduce lots of lore in their starting zones which I can't wait to play through. The lore around the trolls is also taking a step further with them getting a new home (away from garrosh) and that they adapt new powers in the forms of Druids and Warlocks (finaly).

I'm a troll fan and a lore nerd as you might have noticed and the first thing I'm going to do in cata is to lvl up my troll druid/lock through the new zones and experience all the changes and uncover all the new lore.
Also I'm kind of bored on wotlk and a beta key would make it a lot easier to endure the wait for the release of the best wow expansion so far.

Thank you for reading and have a nice day

Im a relatively new player in the overall scheme of WoW, but im working hard to get the best experience from this game I can. The most enjoyable thing i have discovered yet is flying in out land and companion pets. I cant wait to explore New Azeroth find new pets, and Fly over all the old favorite areas. Flying has been the most enjoyable aspect i have found yet. But also being shadow priest is looking like a whole new class and i cant wait to play with it!

As with probably all the 1 post wonders in this thread, I would like to - no, would love to (well truthfully, am actually dying to) - get my hands on the Cataclysm beta. Which, as it technically is part of the expansion, I am the most exited about. I have always had a fascination with MMO betas, and have been lucky to get in a few of those in the past years. To be able to get in the Cataclysm beta would certainly be extremely wonderful.

But if fate decides that the Cataclysm beta is not be for me, then my choice of most exiting feature falls to the new Engineering items. There are always a few great new items in an expansion, which makes the profession totally worth having again and again.

I am most excited for to see all the new areas of Azeroth and seeing the new instances that Blizzard has created. I'm also interested to see how well the new talent changes are going to work out since they have been dropped to only 41 points.

I'm most excited about leveling in new Azeroth, exploring new zones and I am looking forward to the new lore.
I'm also excited about is the changing the way the zones are, all the new zones being introduced and all the lore and low level quests that comes with it. I'm looking forward to Uldum! I just love the Old Gods/Titans storylines and Egyptian climates. The small thing which surprised me is that bridge in the redridge will be finally repaired! The next thing I'm really looking forward to is the Guild perks/reputation... this is just awesome! I'm always a very dedicated player for my guild and now people can actualy see the contribution of people for the guild and earn very cool perks. It's just awesome to go dungeons and questing with your guildmates etc. and in addition even earn perks for it. Just awesome! I'm still thinking what happend with Forsaken and Sylvanas in Sylvanas quest chain in Silverpine Forest. What also surprised me is The Goblin start zone... it's just AMAZING! Flying chickens, Pirates on Motor, blowing up apes with bananas with nitroglycerine, creating city from box and a lot more creative quests what makes that I'll play a goblins instead worgens.
I hope we meet in Beta. :)

I'm extremely interested in trying out the new hunter mechanics. I've been playing a hunter as my main class since early vanilla, and I'm very skeptical/curious about these changes. I feel this isn't really a thing that could be just seen or told, but must be experienced by one self to really make a decision if it's something to like or dislike. I've been hoping to get into the beta because of this, so that I can decide if I want to keep playing a hunter in Cataclysm, or make my Warlock my new main.

I also am a huge fan of exploring and seeing everything in the zones. I doubt there's a place I haven't seen in any of the zones, and getting to see Hyjal and some of the old unfinished zones would be great as well. I still remember the big pieces of land on the world maps that were nothing but paper.

Also, the dungeons and raids sound to be a lot more challenging than those in WotLK. I'd love to experience this as well, since I love a challenge and not knowing a thing about what's coming at you next.

Cheers!

Prior to Beta Keys being released, Cata got me thinking:

"I wonder what they're going to do to the beautiful lands of Durotar." As I slowly leave on the zeppelin toward Orgrimmar, I looked at my surroundings. This is what is exciting to me.

Granted, I can't wait to reach the new level cap, run the new dungeons, and experience the news lands and starter areas for the worgen and goblins.

But the changes to Azeroth is the most exciting to me. Seeing the drastic transformations of each area and remembering what they once looked like will be the most entertaining part of the new expansion. It'll open up all areas as "new" areas to quest in while leveling. It refreshes the game in a way for those of us that have been playing for quite some time.

This is what I look forward to. And you know what? I don't think I'll ever be prepared for it when it comes.

Hey! :)

What I am most exited about in the cataclysm expansion is the shaping of the world. To see how Blizzard have shaped and twisted the world in a new desire, to upgrade and give all of Azeroth a new look and a new start. To see the new hills, the gras or a big crack with fire will give everything a new angle and really make the storyline go on. It will get more realistic, the water will look like water which is quite the improvement. And not to mention the damned lands that is given a new fresh start. And the cities being upgraded with fantastic and remarkable design. This is the world we have been waiting for, and at least for me, this is the changes we have been waiting for to come. To see Azeroth on the brink of destruction once again, and to see the ancien evil crawl back to the surface. This is what I am exited for, the new world, the new enemies, and the old enemies from the earlier stages. This is a new start, and a new adventure, and I am extremely exited!

Sincerely MrSwosh :)

I find that I'm looking forward to the changes to the paladin class, and more importantly the population of paladins to be made of skilled players. Right now, there is a large majority of the class that play it because it's easy.

Or I could say that I'm excited about entering the world on the first day. It will almost be as awesome as when I first started playing on my Night Elf Druid. Seeing those giant, powerful Ancient Protectors that I used to command in Warcraft III almost brought a tear to my eye.

There's also flying. I don't think I'll spend the first day leveling, but flying in and around Azeroth. Probably on the day before, I will create a list of sites that I would like to see.

Finally, if I get a beta invite, I would be most excited to give my thoughts and opinions on the Protection spec of the Paladin. I've been playing a tankadin since BC when it became viable. It started out from the love of grouping up tons of mobs, then watching them die as they kill themselves. In the meantime, my health would be topped off from my seal and judgement of light. I still use this advantage to solo certain bosses in BC and Classic WoW. With my understanding of the class, I hope to help create a more complex and difficult Tankadin.

Anyways, thanks for this contest Zam. Now that I think about it, the thing that I'm most excited about really is the: http://www.pollsb.com/photos_handler/o/45499-top_hat_wears_best.jpg

Seeing as i am a warlock i would definetelly enjoy all the changes being done and having some more buttons too press aswell as the great new shard system, questing together, wiping on the new content with a smile.

I'd also enjoy giving my alts wich are now in azeroth some new pushes towards leveling, aswell as figuring out how too play them properly again with all the new changes

I'm most excited for the goblin starting area and the way the new talent trees develop, the reason i'm excited for the goblin start is that i have read that the goblins have very unique quests at the beginning that really fit them and the starting zone alone is enough for me to buy Cataclysm and i would really like test it out and make sure everything about it is bug free for when i play it for real.

For me it's several things:

- Making a worgen hunter.
- Playing the new worgen starting zone and the super cool transformation animation between worgen and human forms.
- Trying the new hunter focus mechanics and not having to worry about ammo.
- The new levelling experience, taking advantage of newer quest mechanics and phasing.
- The new balance druid system.

I'm really excited about the faction hubs going back to Org/SW. It always felt weird having them combined (Shat/Dal) for each expansion.

I truly can not wait for the new expansion. What I am most excited about is how blizzard is reintroducing the 2 main continents back into end game. Also i cant wait for the worgen I am probably going to switch if not both atleast on of my characters to them and start a worgen shadow priest. And last the views with flying mounts will be SWEET!!!!!

I am looking forward to the new rage mechanics Blizzard has implemented for warriors since alot of people are providing feedbacks and comments that the recent mechanics makes playing a warrior boring and repetitive. New skills and talents have been also introduced to give warriors more flexibility in different kinds of playing which makes me wonder if there are more variations of talent specs can be used for both PVE and PVP. Getting an opportinity to try Cataclysm out will help give my guildies and idea of how the new changes will affect my class. Another thing I am looking forward to are the new zones and instances introduced in Cataclysm. Bigger instances and zones makes exploration a fun thing to do when you are bored. I am hopeful to see new boss mechanics and a mixture of old ones together creating a new feel for raiding and at the same time teamwork within the raid group. The guild user interface and leveling system caught my attention as well since it promotes the guild to work hard to gain good benefits that can help them in their everyday adventures and makes communicating within guild easier.

I'm looking most forward to exploring the "new" old world from the air. Flying in Azeroth is definitely what has me most exited about Cataclysm :)
