The thing i'm looking forward to most in Cata is the talent masteries!

I'm an altoholic, but i like being one, i like making new characters and levelling in the lowbie areas. So getting a big difference between the three specs for each class will be really fun! My main won't like this however. ;<

But if i got into the beta, i'd probably be spending all my time flying around Azeroth, upside down of course. ^^

I'm way excited for the Deadmines Heroic! The new and improved Azeroth is going to be awesome, and the flying mounts in Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms is going to make me re-explore the world!

EDIT: I'm also looking forward for the Goblin race, and how their starting place is going to look like. (I love Blizzard's new works.)

I am mostly exited about the new races that will be in cataclysm .
I have played wow for a while now and it is always exciting to have something new . Its cool to see a different perspective of the world of Azeroth . Its also going to be cool to have a goblin because its going to be like ''The gnomes of the Horde''

I have a level 80 paladin , yet I have found that i am running out of things to do .
Quote:
not that there is little to do on wow :D

Im very happy that its going on to level 85 which will upgrade high level gameplay exceptionally .

As a healer, I'm most interested in the changes that are gonna be made to the healing game. As of now, I have so much mana I pretty much never go OOM and can spam whatever heals I want. It would be nice for it to be less of a faceroll and take more thinking like it used to with having to use ranked down spells and all.

The thing that I'm really excited for is rated battlegrounds and how Blizzard is going to try to fix the never ending PvP QQing about overpowered classes. I never played the right comp at the right time in WotLK and I'm as casual as it gets to playing this game, so I've never been able to get to a high arena rating. With rated battlegrounds, I think that I might have a good chance of playing against high rated opponents.

I'm also excited to see how my class, the hunter, does in a PvP environment with the focus changes. I've looked at the wowhead Cataclysm talent trees and I've got my BM PvP tree all figured out (not that it took to much thought process to pick the talents) and I'm really excited to try it out. One thing that I REALLY hope for is how the BM tree will perform in rated battlegrounds.

I've already pre-bought Cataclysm, so even if I don't get a beta invite I'll still make sure I'm one of the first to try this out. :)

Hello!
Well, I really want to get the beta key for Cataclysm, because I want to try all things, that are new in this expansion, also want to try, how it runs on my pc.
I want to know more about the new secondary profession - Archaeology, I want to see how it works. I think this profession would be great in the new expansion.
I want to finally see the UI changes, already saw new guild UI on screenshots - I think it is awesome! Very perfect UI, where everything is clearly and easy.
I want to see new zones and also want to see, how previous low-level zones were changed. I want to try out new leveling quests.
As I like PvE very much, I want to try out new raiding systems and I want to play in new dungeons. Well, I want to see new battlegrouns aswell.
I want to see, how powerful my class will be at level 85, I am very interested in talent tree changes and I want to try new spells.
Worgens and Goblins - I think these races are awesome! As I am Horde player, I want to play with Goblins, because they looks cool also they have very nice racial abilities. I can acces the bank anywhere anytime, my attack/casting speed will be increased depending on how much gold I have.. well, this will be also a point to farm a lot of money, so I can attack fast and my DPS would be better. I think this race will be awesome. Also I like Goblin's mount! It looks so cool! Finally, there will be something more funny, not only engineers's helicopter and Mechano Hog :)

Well, I really want to try out ALL things that are included in this awesome expansion. Would be very nice to try it now. I think that this expansion will be great, so many new things will be added, but the old things will be updated. Will be very cool to see, how the World of Warcraft will be changed now! I really hope to get the key, so I can try out this awesome expansion immediately. :) Thanks!

The thing I am most excited about in Cataclysm is the Hunter redesign. I have played a hunter as my main since the release of wow and been through all the changes and transformations of the class. The hunter still remains my favorite class in all of WoW. I am super excited to finally be off of a mana based resource system and onto our own special focus system. I am looking forward to relearning the hunter class.

The first thing I am going to do in Cataclysm is create a Wrogren Hunter!

I'm really exited about new holy priest changes like Chakra. It looks really cool as it buffs spells which you're using the most. What is more, new Leap of Faith makes me chuckle when I think about how we will use it sometimes:

Raid Leader: John got DC! Let's hope he won't get a fire under his feet.
Really Angry Boss casts Fire on John.
Raid Leader: USE LOF ON JOHN QUICK!!!

i am excited for all the changes to the old world - cant wait to actually see what it looks like - the daily screenshots are awesome. I am also looking forward to be able to run 10 man raids with the same gear itemization as 25 man raids - along with more smaller raids (4-6 bosses vs 14).

RATED BGS! 31 point talent trees! Worgen druids! New CTF maps! So stoked. The glory days of Vanilla PvP will return!

Warlords & Marshalls rejoice, the time is coming again. Twin Peaks looks amazing. Can't wait to use & abuse aquatic form in the river.

The reworked Azeroth will be entertaining for levelling Worgen Druid, but realistically I'll be XPing through BGs most of the way.

Thanks Cata!

Sincerely,
Warlord Faeral-Skullcrusher

I am most excited about the whole concept of this expansion. And that is imho change in the game. I like to roll alts when I get my other characters fairly geared to experience the game from the eyes of another class, the only thing I hate about it was the leveling. "Hey lets go kill boars!" Was okay the first time around, however eventually it was like banging my head against the wall. However I really admire blizzard that they are both listening to us long-time players and some of those who started playing but never picked up the game very well. This expansion will make the old world feel new to current wow players, and engaging to those who decided to pick up the game. Basically what I am looking forward to the most is not high level content, but how they are planning to change the starter content.

there a are a number of things that i'm excited about when it comes to cataclysm:
1. WORGEN! i've been wanting this ever since i encountered my first one running SFK, back when i was playing my first hunter, i started playing the game a few months before the BC expac came out.
2. flying in azeroth, thank you WoW gods :)
3. hunters getting focus,25 pet slots and the 31 point talent trees. once blizz gets these balanced out, it will be epic, and hopefully BM will be competitive with MM and SV for raiding again.

I'm very excited about a lot of the various things that are being added to the game in the Cataclysm expansion, but one of the main things that I am very excited about is the changes that are being made to the Warlocks affliction talent tree.

This is mainly because of the versatility Blizzard are giving affliction warlocks by adding the abilities 'Soul Swap' and 'Jinx'. 'Soul Swap' really is one of those spells that Warlocks have been longing for since the dawn of time, as it lowers their ramp up for damage on certain fights as they can just swap their DoT spells from one target on to another instead of re-casting their damage over time abilities again, saving a heck load of time. 'Jinx' also seems like another great ability being added to the Warlocks affliction tree though, as again, it's another time saving ability on certain fights with a lot of enemies as the Warlock simply needs to cast their Curse of the Elements once to cast it on several mobs at once, making a Warlocks life so much funner.

I'm really looking forward for this Cataclysm expansion for the World of Warcraft.

The most exciting thing is that the world has changed and does not look the same. Levling in in Azeroth again is awesome as it has changed.

I'm also going to start a Goblin to level up to 85. ^^ Their zone looks badass as it already is, while playing as one is just fantastic!

I also really want to try out the new Cataclysm Talent changes that's made to my Paladin and Druid as they look very, very interesting to learn more about.

I've also checked out some of the new dungeons on the Cataclysm expansion, they look really nicly done as well. (: I'd love to try those out.

Best regards,
Paladoh,

Paladoh - Blood Elf Paladin, 80.
Oveson - Tauren Druid, 80.

I would have to say that I'm most looking forward to the new bear mechanics and abilities in Cataclysm, namely our new abilities for single target. For a long time, bears had just a few buttons to press and little utility - we were just health sponges with swipe and great single target threat. With the addition of abilities such as pulverize, and the apparent removal(?) of mangle as an ability, but rather an aura, our rotation and priority with drastically change, giving for a more enjoyable play-style (hopefully!).

Having done research, and playing around with talent trees, I feel that it would benefit both myself and my guild to get in to the beta to progress faster upon release, with knowledge of dungeons and mechanics.

I have played WoW since the open beta back in 2004, the game changed mmo's forever. I cannot wait to see what they plan on doing with the old world, to see if they are going to change all the quests or keep them the same, the storyline to see how the NPC's react to the world changing event. Adding the new races is going to spice everything up again, i know when BC came out it was huge, the new starting areas were awesome to level in. Thats another thing i cant wait for, i want to see if the new starting areas are as streamlined as the Blood Elf and Dranai were.

From the trailer the landscape i have seen look beautifal, i cant wait to see if they make any changes to the graphic engine to just make the world flow better. Worgen is going to be the biggest draw for me as well, i have played horde my entire WoW career but with the new race for alliance, i just might have to try them out.

I am the type of guy that never reads up on things so that i can be excited, i have never had a beta before but i think it would be a great treat to see Cataclysm, i think its going to be the most exciting expansion pack thus far.

Im very excited about the Cataclysm beta and would really appreciate a key because a lot of the changes to my classes (main and alts) are pretty exciting, and I'd love to see them before release so I can have some clue of what class I will play in Cataclysm and would love to see the new Azeroth from the air.
