I'm really excited about making a worgen and playing through all the old world changes. I don't think there's a race I'd rather play besides worgen honestly. Their starting zone looks so amazing. I love their models and animations. And they get an awesome top hat. Plus I'd get to take it through the new changes would look absolutely fantastic. I've leveled so many characters and I love each of the zones, but it seems that in cataclysm I'm going to love them even more. They're just so dynamic and cinematic and epic which is what I love about video games in the first place.

I think that cataclysm is going to be my favorite game of all time. I'm excited about everything really, but more so worgen and the new zone changes. Oh, and heroic deadmines. How I've wanted that for so long....

Looking forward to the new chalenges, new titles . I cant wait to see how they`ll make the game more chalenging for a healer and i`m extremely anxios to see how Cataclism will but more responsability in raids on the DSP.
I`m curios how the game experience will evole in Cata and how the LFD tool will help us experience the game (i hope they`ll make some improvements) and the idea of FIghting Deathwing, Ragnaros (again :D) and all the new raids to come :)
Not to mention the new mounts, companions and aditional fun elementsL(

Funny that the contest ends on 2 august...that`s my Birthday :)

Mostly I'm looking forward for lore of cataclysm zones. So far quests have been pretty much like "Go kill 10 boars because they killed my wife", and next the same guy sends you for quest that doesn't have anything to do with previous one (This started to get better in WotLK). From what I have heard, it'll be more like "Go do this and this" and after that the same guy gives quest which in you need to "Now that we have done [What we did in previous quest], you must do that, so we can finally do [next (end) part of the quest]" (Though with longer quest chains :) )

[The other things since only allowed to pic one :( ]:
I'd love to see for myself how the new DK rune system works, and how they have managed to turn blood into dedicated tanking tree and balance between DW and 2h Frost specs.
Also, as far as I know, new zones and old zone revamped, are looking amazing, and would love to explore them by myself.
Would love to see how they have managed to do all that phasing stuff in beta, since I have heard there are some quite amazing things.

Rated Battlegrounds, by far. These poor battlegrounds have been a joke for years, most players don't even know how powerful an experience they used to be. Before Arenas came around. Even now in Wotlk, a battleground with a bunch of good players vs. a bunch of other good players is incredible! Arenas never seemed as exciting, just limited. What happens in arena, a strong 3v3 or 5v5 battle...that could be going on at three or four places at once. A battle rather than a fight.

Just not sure what class to play >_<, either mage or warrior...both looks amazing atm. Playing a Worgen will be interesting also come to think of it. Never actually leveled completely in the Eastern Kingdoms, looking forward to the experience. Their second zone is where we used to fight Kazzak, wtf is going on lol.

I'm looking forward to alot of things in cataclysm.. but the ones I look forward to the most are (in no particular order):

- The horde FINALLY getting southshore. My guild and I would destroy that town for hours on end and they would just keep coming back for more.

- one word: WORGEN!!!

-flying around the barrens: I survived the original barrens chat and now that it's getting ripped in half, AND I can fly thru it this is epic win material!

thanks for the chance

It sounds silly, but the thought of having my Tauren engineer cruise around on a goblin car mount just makes me disproportionately happy.

I'm excited about being able to go through Shadowfang Keep as a high-end instance. I love that instance and am looking forward to being challenged in there again. Being in there as a whole pack of Worg would be pretty crazy!

My most anticipated aspect of Cataclysm is the lore, and especially the reawakened struggle between the Alliance and the Horde. During the campaign of The Burning Crusade and most of Wrath of the Lich King the Alliance and Horde tolerated each other, they even worked together in some cases! A ridiculous prospect if I ever heard one! The Alliance has but one use and that use is being a trophy on my mantlepiece! From Cataclysm on the Alliance has two choices, either they assimilate peacefully within the ranks of the Horde or we will instigate a widespread and concentrated purging of any miserable species who ever took banner under the Alliance! Heck, we might even kill each and every single one of you anyway, for sport! The world will soon know a new rule, and the Horde will be it's creator! LOK'TAR OGAR! FOR THE HORDE!

I am excited about playing a goblin, but also about the massive idea of rediscovering Azeroth. No more rushing through quests I know by heart! I am actually going to enjoy leveling!

Honestly if i had to choose something i liked about Cataclysm and am excited for, it would have to be the fact that we are finally getting some more lava themed content...When i started playing WoW back in Vanilla i remember the first time i flew over Blasted lands and Searing gorge and saw the level ?? spiders and drakes....I was so excited i couldn't wait to go in there so i ran my level 28 Night Elf hunter from IF all the way to Searing Gorge and all the way up through Burning steppes...Granted there were many deaths i enjoyed it very much and that is still my most memorable moment about WoW to this day...I have been wanting Blizzard to incorporate more lava and fire themed content for quite some time now...so this last expansion wasn't the most exciting for me lol...But regardless i can't wait for all the craters and volcanoes and red hot content. Other then that i would probably be more excited about finally having the ability to create a Night Elf Mage that SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE in the beginning -.- *ahem* Blizzard.... Anyways...Enough Rambling.

I am looking forward to soul shards finally being removed and to try out the new soul management system for warlocks. I also look forward to taking some alts through the revised Azeroth.

I am looking forward to maybe having that feeling of everything being fresh again. I remember when I first started playing Wow back in the day everything was so new in Azeroth and there was that feeling of wonder. Although expansions since then have came out I don't think that they captured that feeling again. I believe the new atmosphere that Cataclysm brings and also the fact that the old world, which is my opinion is the most important part of the world will rekindle this feeling. The revamped quests and new content is going to be amazing.

The thing I'm most excited about, hmm... There is a lot of awesome stuff coming, but I think what I'm most excited about is more the overall theme of the expansion, that we can finally continue the story of WoW.
I'm a huge lore geek and I love warcraft's story. But for years we have been going through the same old Azeroth where the story never evolved past what was right there in front of us.
For example, I'm sure pretty much everywhere the gates of AQ have been opened and C'thun killed a hundred times, yet the Cenarion Circle in Silithus are still trying to figure what is going on and where all the bugs are coming from.
Poor fellas have no idea that we just fought and defeated another Old God in Ulduar, and they certainly have no idea that the Lich King was making trouble.
The Plaguelands are another good example. We know the Scourge has retreated to Northrend and Naxxramas was called back etc. We even killed The Lich King.
But poor little Pamela Redpath is still looking for her doll among the Scourge infested ruins of what was once her home.
It will just be good to finally see the story move on and know that our actions did not go unnoticed.

This was somewhat remedied in The Burning Crusade and especially Wrath of the Lich King. Of course the NPCs present in the two continents knew that baddies like C'thun weren't doing much anymore, but it felt like 3 seperate games in a way.
You had vanilla, TBC and WotLK. With Cataclysm it seems like all of it is being woven together into one game and one grand tale.
Everything will hit home and even Topper McNabb in Stormwind will know that The Lich King has been defeated - and he might also have noticed that a huge dragon named Deathwing returned and blew up the Park area (RIP druid trainer).
And we will finally see Westfall and other zones improve. We had Gryan Stoutmantle dealing with the Defias Brotherhood back in vanilla and we met him again in Grizzly Hills where he was all like "Hey buddy! Good work with the Defias noobs, couldn't have done it without you!" - yet the Defias were still running around and causing trouble.
It will just be nice to see that the common man in Azeroth now knows that giant bugs aren't going to eat him anymore, nor will the undead. It will feel like what we did (Killing Illidan, The Lich King etc) actually had an impact on good ol' Azeroth.
That is what I am looking forward to the most: Seeing the story continue and evolve.

Think all the changes to old Azeroth will be very good to experience and being able to fly over all the old areas (although diffferntly landscaped) will be interesting. From the beta videos i've seen the changes to questing & overall levelling look like it will be more enjoyable

The thing I am most looking forward to is the new dungeons and raids. Especially the new heroics of Shadow Fang Keep and Deadmines. I have always enjoyed working together to overcome monstrous adversaries and daunting obstacles. >=D I hope they bring another fight like Flame Leviathan into the new content. Like one big vehicle that one person drives and everyone uses a turret of some sort to take down a big boss. =o

I am excited most about cataclysm simply for the reason that:
I can play a worgen
I can experience new starting zones!
I can see the new world
I can fly in azeroth.

I really hope this post is chosen!

Really really looking forward to the Worgen. When I first started playing WoW back in vanilla, I saw the Worgen and said 'WOW I wish I could have rolled that!'. Now that after all this time I'll finally be able to, excited beyond words.
