I'm most excited for the new races. The Worgen are a random but really cool addition to the allience and i would love to play as them. Not only the race but the Worgen architecture looked really cool and it would be fun to explore their area.

I really excited to level in the old zones, I'm actually more excited to find mankirk's wife again.

I'm stoked about the changes being made to ret pallies. I think the addition of holy power will be something that the retadin class has been missing. And the new talents look sweet as well.. being able to hammer of gg as if the target was under 20% whenever you pop wings.... OP! love it..

I'd say its seeing the changes to Azeroth, but the talents and the new races do come in a close second. It will be slightly sad to see some places change forever, but it'll be almost a whole new world ripe for exploration. Kind of reminds me of back in the days when they changed Silithus to its current form. Nothing like being free to chart out the new world while remembering the old one.

The first thing I do in the first day of any new expansion is to go as far as I possibly can and chart out everything I can get to. I am sort of weird like that.

I'm most excited about the changes to the existing environments/quests, and the newly created ones. Been playing since wow was released, and it is good to see these changes finally coming. Also looking forward to the changes to game mechanics and the worgen starting quests. Gotta admit I will miss some of the old epic quest lines. :)

I am most excited about the new races and the new classes per race (Troll Druids finally!!) I can't wait to run around and look at all the changes. This should make all boring leveling I have done 8 times exciting again! The new talent changes has me intrigued. I mainly play Horde, because Alliance leveling gets pretty mundane at certain levels, I am intrigued to see if the new changes change that. Would love to see more alliance content. I am excited so far from what I have seen in the underwater realms.

In closing, I guess I am just excited about everything the new expansion has to offer! I can't wait for it's release!!!

Baldi - 80 Hunter
Baldee - 80 Rogue
Kalju - 80 Warrior
Celavi - 80 Warlock
Baldijin - 80 Shaman
Hunnie - 80 Priest
Baldeng - 74 Pally
Calvo - 73 Death Knight

Out of all of the changes that are happening with the Cataclysm, I must say I am most excited about the changes in the ever evolving lore. With new leadership in the horde, the determination of Wrynn, and the vast changes of Azeroth, Cataclysm's opportunity for new storylines and plot twists are abundant. I hope these changes bring about a sense of urgency and improve the overall thing I love about the game while leveling - the quests. Looking forward to the lore changes come Cataclysm.

Being a mage, I am most excited about the new mage talent and ability changes. With the release of Cataclysm, I think you'll find a lot more mages running around as it becomes one of the most favored classes next to paladins and death knights.

Firstly, the new abilities. Curtain of Frost will create a whole new dynamic for PVP. Players will feel even more hatred for frost mages as they learn to cope with this new threat in the battlefield of both battlegrounds and arenas. Mages will feed on the tears of flag carriers moreso than they do today.

Today mages do not bring much raid utility in the aspect of major buffs to the raid. A 10 man raid today can deal without living bomb for vile spirits on heroic lich king 10, as the 30% zone buff enables tanks to just soak the damage. Now with Time Warp, mages get a heroism-type spell that also gives an activated haste buff to the mage. This is incredibly useful for survival in PVE and PVP. Prepare to see mages in place of shamans in Cataclysm 10 man raids.

Flame Orb is another exciting spell to see, as it can be used for AOE in Cataclysm. I was most pleased to see this being implemented after seeing the effects in action in Icecrown Citadel.

For talents, arcane will once again reign supreme. The overhaul of talents in Cataclysm for all classes made the arcane tree stand out as the #1 DPS spec for mages. Improved mana gem will react like it did with the tier 7 set bonus, increasing your spellpower by a certain amount when you use it (in this case, 3% of your maximum mana).

And that is what I am most excited to see for Cataclysm.

I'm very excited about re-experiencing old Azeroth, of course. And I can't wait to be able to play onehanded fury in PvE! It's gonna be sweet :) But to be honest, what I look forward to the most is probably going to the new Stranglethorn Vale and killing goblins, and this time it won't be Venture Co.!

I don't think I could read enough about the new expansion. I am excited about all the new aspects of the game. We will never know what to expect from Blizzard, until it is release. I am most excited about being able to fly anywhere in the game. Good luck to everyone who makes a post for a Beta key. I can’t wait to play.

Most excited? A whole new world, risen like a phoenix, out of (literally) the ashes! It amazes me evry time I think about it. Blizzard created an entire world to experiance and enjoy, in literally hundreds of different ways (pick the one that suites you best). Now I get to go back to Azeroth and see the changes, on a flying mount by the way, and do it all over again. I get to fly to areas that before I could only see from a passing a hypograph and think, "gee, I wish I could go up there". The characters, the personalities, the new races, the animals, the NPC's, plants, cities, jobs, dungeons, mobs, bosses, loot...oh yeah, the loot, the GEAR!!!...leveling...getting MORE elite! IN A WHOLE NEW WORLD!!!

I play a Disc/Shadow priest and I am looking forward to the change in mechanics of both of these specs. For disc I am most looking forward to power word: Barrier and the evangelism/archangel mechanics. For shadow I can't wait for the shadowy apparition and shadow orbs. I will also be starting a few alts to play through all of the new low lvl content, so I am looking forward to that as well.

The thing which is being very anticipated by me and probably most raiders is the ability to raid only 10 man content.
By saying ability I mean the fact that loot from bosses will be just the same while doing 10 man and 25 man content.
That will really maximize the fun we can have from raiding. Imagine doing raid with just your friends, and some of the most trusted people instead of loosing control of your nerves while pugging 25 man content with idiots.
In Cataclysm it won't be needed to spend that much time to find 25 people and get the best loot.
Cataclysm = Same raid loot = Less people in raid = better communication = no more stupid fails = more fun.

As a long time player from release, watching WoW develop into the game it is today, Cataclysm, to me, feels like Blizzard is finally taking the game into the right direction. I'm excited to see vanilla WoW revisited, and in my opinion, finally done right! Blizzard has learned much since the launch of WoW, and while vanilla WoW was great for it's time, there were a lot of things that could have been better, and I really believe Cataclysm is going to bring us back to the basics of what makes this game actually fun to play.

I'm excited to finally get to visit some of the landmarks that have peaked my curiosity, so many years ago. Killing Red Dragonkin outside of Grim Batol, trying to imagine what was going on inside, and hoping that it would be added patch after patch. Seeing the large hole in the outer doors of Uldum, always made me think about what was breaking in, or possibly breaking out! Finally being able to experience these vanilla places will be great and exciting.

Goblins - need I say more? I've always loved the money grubbing, fast talking, deal making Goblins. I've always wanted to see them as a player race, and it's finally coming to fruition. I'm stoked about their racials, and can't wait to roll a new character to level up as a goblin in the new content.

Worgens - Ok,I'm not sure about everyone else, but Gilneas finally being open. Yes! For years I've wanted to get through those gates and explore beyond, but they were locked up tight! I'll admit, I'm not super stoked about playing a Worgen, mostly because I'm a true blue (green?) Horde player, but they look pretty bad ***. I'm more excited to see Gilneas and explore that area of the world!

I must admit, that flying in Azeroth is up there on my list of exciting additions. To fly over the Ruins of Lorderon or Orgrimmar, and witness the full glory of those landmarks from the sky will be an exhilarating experience. I hoped for flying in Azeroth back when Burning Crusade was released and again with WotLK. Exploring the new Azeroth from the sky will definitely be a great reason to play Cataclysm in itself.

And lastly, the thing that I am most excited about has to be the changes to the talents. Talents sure have come a long way since vanilla, I mean, druid talents in vanilla, anyone remember? Yeah, I know, right? Finally! I just love the idea of being locked into the specific talent tree until you've spent 31 points. Not only is this going to be a good feature for oldtimers, but for new players as well, many of which I've seen with points just thrown anywhere, in any tree all willy nilly. Smaller, cleaner talent trees with only useful talents, it's going to be great. I can't wait to test it out for myself.

So, I guess that's it, it all boils down to the fact that I'm excited to just play a new game, and Cataclysm really seems like that what it is, a new lease on WoW. I can't wait!

I would love to get into beta for many reasons.

The main one though, I'd have to say...

I want to try Worgen, which look amazing. They're an incredible addition to WoW, a chance to be a feral, mindless killing machine for the Alliance! Their new starting zone seems fantastic, the design, the dark elements. I'd love to be in the beta to see the Worgen, and make their experience better for everyone else come live!

I am looking forward to leveling up my Ret Pally and seeing what new talents and specs there are. I am also anxious to see the new archeology ability. I am an avid mini pet collector and wonder what kind of new pets there might be. :)) Can't wait!!!
