Can't wait to see everything! ;) Flying in azeroth will be like making your own flightpaths, underwater fights. What I'm really want to see are the new sets and mounts.

I am most excited about leveling a gnome priest, and that the gnomes will have finally taken back their city! Gnome priests have been taunting me since my first run through Gnomergan five years ago!

Can't wait for updated graphics in the "old world", and I'm psyched that hunters will finally be "first class citizens" (I mean, why do we have mana when nothing else related to mana applies (spell crit, etc.?)) I think the focus system is gonna be really cool.

I'm looking forward to exploring all the new areas and seeing the changes to the old world. I would do explorer all over again for that!

I'd say there are two things that I'm really excited about in Cataclysm. The first being able to fly everywhere. I'm that guy who always specs his Shaman for instant Ghost Wolf, that if he has to walk more than 10 feet, hops on his mount before hand. It drove me nuts when I hit Northrend the first time and lost the ability to fly. I'm addicted! I gotta cruise those skies! The second thing I'm really excited about are the talent changes. I love that we're going to get some of the abilities that make those specs unique right away. I love playing my Shaman, so much so that I've had two over the years, but there just isn't much of a difference in gameplay until you're in your 30s-40s. With Cata, Each of the specs should play very differently right away. I feel like it'll add a bit more excitement to leveling, and that's a big part of why I'm so excited about the talent changes.

Hi there!

What I'm looking forward to more then anything in the expansion is simply this, I have this.... sorta... infatuation...with Sylvanas. I find her a classic character and love the storyline surrounding her, I'd love to find out what happens after Garrosh tells her she's just like the lich king.

I MUST KNOW THIS!

P.s.

I also just want to let you know. I baked you cookies, a apple pie, brownies, muffins ( chocolate chip and blueberry), and also this thing called dirt and worms which is like this brownie with a gummy worms in them. It's quite tasty.

But this isn't ya know influencing you.... >_>.... at all.... whatsoever....

*holds up a cake with banana frosting*

Go ahead eat a slice.

As a warlock, I have little to look forward to. No, no, not because I am a tragic martyr and my class is dull, as you may have inferred were that statement to stand on its own without the ongoing and excessively wordy elaboration. Warlocks are already so classy, so flawless, so poised that to ask for more would be a level of greed unbefitting of me, even with the sinister reputation of my occupation. All I can hope for in that regard is that the glorious fashions arriving with the Cataclysm (disaster is known to inspire seamstresses) my warlock may be even more of a perfect paragon of perniciousness. Why spread malaise and malady, when you can spread malaise and malady in a top hat?

Thus, I must turn elsewhere for that which truly cranks my cranium (It's a warlock term, I assure you). To other classes I can only raise my eyelid in bemusement - then raise the second one in delighted surprise, for acquiring a "class-defining ability" at level 10 is a prospect I can promise my pleasure for. The sense of...overpoweredness at getting something so strong at so low a level makes me shout out obscenities of delight at seeing each spell go off. Take that Divine Storm, Hogger. Eat that Aimed Shot, VanCleef. It feels so good to a player who remembers the old days that it should be illegal. Sooooooo good.

If I might indulge my sense of aesthetics, I must confess that what I'll enjoy the most out of Cataclysm is the scenery. We've come a long way from Burning Crusade, where you stood in a desolate orange wasteland, stepped through the Dark Portal, and found yourself....in a desolate orange wasteland. No, the sheer beauty of places like Vashj'ir and Uldum make me happy in secret ways that I would never tell the other men at the bar as we talk about women and construction and punching things (not necessarily in that order). Blizzard has this ability to make these amazing settings, even in their somewhat simplistic style (by today's standards), and it's just gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous. Seriously. Jokes are aside for the moment. There are places in the game that just make you smile to see them, to imagine them. That's awesome.

There are other things I'm looking forward to in the expansion, naturally, but let's face it. There's like one guy who has the job to read every single entry. I'm not going to make his job take any longer. You poor guy. I've been there. I know. It's okay. You're already at page 74. You can make it!

I can't wait to fly around Azeroth with a Goblin and using the rocket belt, while summoning a lackey to bank my stuff for me, then buying stuff for cheapest prices from merchants. =D

Gonna be so much fun!!

I have always been a big fan of WoW since classic, I really look forward to playing the new races and check out the new talents at lvl 10, and the OP spells like Crusader Strike at lvl 1 and Pyroblast at lvl 10 and stuff, and i wanna take a look at all the new areas in cataclysm. And i would also like to take a look at the changes of Druids, because thats my main character in retail.

The part of the expansion I'm looking forward to the most are the class changes. I've leveled 8 classes to 80, and am saving 2 more to experience the new content in Cataclysm, but in the weeks it took me to level each character and get them semi-geared, I began growing more and more bored with the rotations. Eventually I hated playing most of the classes, because all of their rotations felt like you were just hitting buttons and watching numbers scroll across the screen. From what I can tell of the class changed posted so far, that will not be the case anymore. Each class is getting completely reworked, with more emphasis being put on how the player wants to play, not how the raiding bigwigs tell you to play. Take the warrior class for instance, their fury spec consists of 4 abilities, one of which is a proc, another which is meant to be kept on queue all the time, and two CD-based abilities. It is probably the shortest and dullest rotation out of all of the classes, but that will be changing with Cataclysm. The only class that I actually enjoy playing at this point is a feral druid, because you actually need to watch what your hitting, and you have to think about what you're hitting next. Cataclysm is changing all of the classes, and even if it's reducing damage, or making the class the worst in the game, as long as it gets some new spells to fling, and a rotation that makes me feel like I'm doing something, then I will play it, no matter what anyone else says.

The one thing I am most looking forward to in Cataclysm is being able to level something from level 1 and actually feel like i am playing a new game or at least something different. Before you would level something new (a new class) but the basic experience would be exactly the same as before, same zones and same quests. After i level my main to 85 i will be making something new and experiencing the new content.

I'm definitely the most pumped up about the shared ten and twenty five man instances, in terms of both shared loot tables and shared lockouts. It will be nice to not feel obligated to run both on a reset, while still being able to get the same loot (caster legendary for my boomkin, kthxbai).

Daze the Mighty Warrior Tank walks around Dalaran , as He hears laughs from a group of Paladins tanks in the Inn. He knows thier snickers are against him. Daze stops, looks and sighs as he clenches his fist in anger . Beaten and pushed out of the public eyes this Warrior tank knows his day will come. He shield slams, heroic strikes but yet something is missing, Thunderclaps, Devastates, All his might but yet a void is hidden inside.
Meanwhile......
Laughs from the inside of Goldshire Inn can be heard for miles. The cheerful atmosphere can be felt from the Gates of Stormwind and to the valleys of Ironforge. The Lich King's fall has brought happiness to all.

Azeroth starts to shake....The ground crumbles......The sky turns to red and ashes start to fall from the sky.
Out in the distance a a massive explosion breaks the silence of the once peaceful lands.

The wind blows against the the Daze's face. He puts down his nogginfogger. The table he has been eating at starts to shake.Daze stands up, as an explosion outside knocks the him off of his feet to the back room. He Stands up and to run to the aid of his people. Outside a mighty roar can be heard. Deathwing emerges from the depths of Azeroth. The warrior equips his shield and prepares to charge. Something is different. Daze feels the power of lightning surgeing threw him. He runs and Jumps up as high as the eye can see, and coming down witht the force of a Tram. landing on the ground on top of Deathwing. He shield slams , devestates Thunderclaps the power of his rage leaves sparks on the ground that would kill a man . Deathwing strikes Daze. each blow making the warrior gain his vengeance. Getting more powerfull with each blow but....Daze is being damaged, Gashes and bruises cover his body . A new power can be felt. His wounds start to heal. His weakend body becoming new again. He battleshouts as he gains his new found power. Deathwing, aware of his new challenge flees in a hurry.

The true hero has returned.

His head held high, he walks past that same Inn and find the once snickering paladins. He approachesthem and rest his hand on one's shoulder. He leans down and smiles. "Who's OP now Bi***". He walks away a new man.

Ok now that is over i would like to explain that my warrior had me feeling down but the new changes in the talents and moves and thunderclap have more excited then ever to play my warrior. Paladins will be the thing of the ppast while my warrior Daze is alive. I cant wait to bring a new style to raids and show the public who is boss. Warriors FTW. ty for reading

I am excited about everything in the expansion. The changing of the old world and the new areas being the two i want to experience the most. I also want to play the two new races so i can film it and post it on youtube. The class changes are also very exciting. With the changes to the Resto Druid (my main class) and the warlock soulstone changes there will be alot to experience witch i am very excited about. I am also excited about low levels getting love. As a frequent leveler of Alts i will enjoy these changes. Also flight in Azeroth will be AMAZING. As you can tell i am very excited about this expansion an hope to play it on release day or before... wink wink

I play a lot of arena and I'm probably most excited about how PvP and gameplay will turn out in the next expansion. This expansion has been kind of disappointing in the arena scene so hopefully a shift towards a mix of arena/bg will be a good thing. The only thing that bugs me is the talent tree set up but hopefully it all works out. I can't wait to see the new comps that form and what classes/comps will be the most popular, a lot changed from bc to wotlk so hopefully we'll see a good move from wotlk to cata. Can't wait to see how Druids in PvP will go through the shift of expansions. Hopefully we get to see some cool new arenas as well, I'll try picking up raiding again and am looking forward to the new content, but more so how the arena scene turns out!

The most exciting and biggest thing I am looking forward to in Cataclysm is PVP. I want to see what blizzard does with Rated Battlegrounds, and what direction they are going to take with arena and how much health/damage we will have/do in terms of pvp arena. Also, I am interested in the new hunter focus system, as my only main since vanilla WoW has been a hunter. I want to see how the mechanic works, how differently I would have to play my hunter compared to using mana. I am also interested in all the new leveling zones. I want to see how the new races of worgen and goblin are going to be. The new talent trees interest me alot, and I want to try them out to see if they made the classes better or worse.

What i'm really excited about in the upcoming expansion cataclysm is to just try out all the new bosses, i'm pretty in to raiding so i guess i'm looking forward to the raids the most

I'm also really excited about the guildperks and the new talent trees, guildperks seem really nice as it makes you feel like your actually a proper team not just a bunch of people who ended up in the same place. The talent trees look like blizzard put alot of tought into doing this and tbh i'm really happy with what they did, especially the new abilities at lvl 10 its gonna make low lvl combat fairly more interesting wich i like since i lvl alot of alts.

the other thing that i'm looking forward to is just flying in azeroth finally after the pain of running around on that slow 100% ground mount i'll be able to cruize trough its beautiful lands and look at them from above with a big grin on my face.

I'm also a big lore fan so the elemental lords and malfurion better be bloody epic!

The most exciting aspect of the Catclysm expansion I am looking forward to is the ability to fly over the old continents; to finally explore for myself all the areas I have taken notice of while flying the flightpaths.
Some of the areas are so interesting. I hope some of my favorites will remain mostly unchanged but just finding these areas is something to look forward to.

thank you,
