I am mostly excited about seeing what changes they made to the old world. I would love to see what they did to make people interested in re-exploring these old zones.

I cannot wait for the cataclysm to occur and to see new life breathed into my favorite continents. I've been playing off and on since 2005 and I've spent hours running around the zones just finding odd places and quests. Now, we'll be able to see these places change and to see the consequences of our actions in quests we've all done dozens of times on the zone and the npcs we've encountered. I absolutely love the phasing technology and I can't wait to see it applied to Azeroth!

How can we just single it out? We can't!

From being able to fly anywhere in the old world and check out the Geography from above, to checking out areas that have been affected by this world changing event. Your database would not have the capacity to hold that amount of information that I could type out. As I would be explaining every zone in detail. No mater how small a change or even the mundane of the clarity of it.

Also exploring the world from 2 different classes and their starting areas. The phase shifting in their quests/area's and how they fit into the new world.

By the time I was to actually get through with finishing how I would be enjoying the new world/races. Cataclysm will have been out and Blizzard would be announcing a new expansion.

The easiest thing I can think of to limit my response is that I am looking forward to everything that this expansion is going to offer.

I'm excited to create a Worgen Rogue with my friends and experience the "old world" in a new way: running through places that are changed for the better or worse on the side of the Alliance, taking on the horde at every turn, seeing the dungeons in a new fresh pace, and finally getting to Deathwing!

I am also looking forward to leading my guild through the new guild levels and perks and taking the new dungeons to the next level!

I'm a feral druid by heart. I can't wait to try out all the new moves the ferals have. as a night elf druid, Im constantly in cat or bear form, avoiding caster form whenever possible, I just don't like the nelf caster form, the worgen looks great, I was always a fan of werewolves, and being one will feel like I'm in a feral form all the time. I can't wait to run around in the worgen feral forms, they look awesome. I wonder how that's going to work with having feral forms and the worgen transform.

the priest changes sounds very exciting, as a disc healer, it looks like I'll be able to do a bit of damage as well, and that Life Grip thing is going to be a lot of fun to play around with, I'm looking forward to annoying a lot of people with it lol.

what I'm looking forward to the most is the new world and all the new quests. I've made so many alts with my best friend and we love going around exploring new places and just leveling up tons of alts. I really hope they increase the 10 toon limit to each server, or even better, the 50 toon max limit.

I'm really looking forward to the guild levels. I think that it'll be a nice incentive to join a guild and to help out the guild. I've had too many guild in the past implode because everyone was only looking out for themselves and no the "greater good"

What I am most excited about in Cataclysm? So many things, new levels, new dungeons, new world... but the top reason:

PvP, Oh dear lord... PvP is going to be massive. I checked a video of the new barrens and it has a little zone with an Allience fort and a Horde fort right in front of each other. I will make that my inn fo sure :). Not only relearn the class will make it a whole different pvp expirience, but also ganking alts and making them log into their 80's to get back at me. I have 1 80 in the horde and 1 in the ally so I can milk cows and kick gnomes, all the goods I need

Also I plan to roll a Dwarf Shammy, and I still have my hopes up for the keg totem :(.

Deadmines is something I'm also exited... I mean.. you're not a real man until you finish deadmines

Since I basically don't raid or pvp, I always needed to find other fun things to do in WoW, and the two prime examples are fishing and achievements. I love fishing and that exciting feeling of never knowing what you might be fishing up next, and all those little, off-the-road accomplishments that many people don't bother with.

I'm sure it's been said over and over, but the thing I am most excited for in Cataclysm is the full revamping to the old world zones. I'm not raiding as much as I used to, in fact, my guild just broke apart today, and the prospect of leveling a new alt is really unappealing, having just leveled 3 alts from 1-70 in the past 6 months. Especially with new content coming! The new raiding structure, with shared IDs is gonna be really neat too, though.

I have played WoW since it was first released, and ever since day one I had always wished I could fly. When flight was announced for TBC, it was the most exciting development I had ever heard about in a video game. For that to now be available in Azeroth is, by itself, worth the price of the expansion.

I've played WoW on and off since beta, and I have never reached max level, I really love the low level content. With that in mind, I'm really excited to see the entire world of Azeroth redesigned. I will definitely be playing a Worgen with a class I have yet to level.

I'm looking forward to the changes in the talent trees most of all. But being able to fly in Azeroth along with the new looks to the older areas will be fun as well as exploring all of the new areas that come with it.
Also kind of interested in the new low level content and will most likely be collecting a few alts to experience it.

I've been a big fan off the Warcraft lore since the first day I set foot into Azeroth.
When WoW got launched it was like a huge fantasy dream coming true, being able to walk around in Azeroth where and when you wanted to(as far as the game allowed it :P) I couldn't believe it at first yet as I leveled my first character to lv 60 I was blown away by the size of the world.
Many days have passed since and as many I've reached level 80.
But the most exciting leveling days I had was from 1 - 60 and I wonder what the return of deathwing has done to the world of Azeroth, the world where I leveled my character in.

So I'm looking forward to visiting old places again and see the changes and remember the old days as I get to learn more about the lore.

With the wealth of information that is already out there about the fantastic new expansion, there are many like me that probably think that that there will be more than one thing in particular to look forward to. Ideally I'd enjoy being able to experience the new starting zones and levels for both the Worgen and Goblins... It'll also be good to experience the changed game world with all of the different and affected zones due to the re-emergence of Deathwing into Azeroth and the ensuring "Cataclysmic" changes..

Looking forward to reading the threads as they're posted...and got everything crossed hoping to be one of the chosen lucky few...

See you out there...

I can't wait to see how the main cities/factions politics play out. Fandral can't be happy Malfurion's back. Ironforge's ruling body is odd now. Thrall isn't the Warchief anymore. Cairne's gone. Sylvanas is up to something, to no good end but the Forsaken's own. And how the faction rivalry will work in with Deathwing coming back.

I'm most looking forward to the changes to Beast Mastery- the new expansion is a chance to not only make Beast Mastery a viable raiding build again, but to also make it a more interesting build (via Cobra Shot) and certain talents, like Rhumba.

I am really excited about the new phasing system and the new characters.
I am really interested to see how things play out for each class/race background story in the new world...of Warcraft. I want to see where each class/race stands in the world... of Warcraft (will the alliance and the horde ever get along? will they try to make love and not warcraft? what will be the city that everyone sits and and what is it's story? do warlocks get a flying mount?). I just want a peek of the new world of mystery and adventure blizzard shall release to us in the upcoming future.(plus i also want to see how op warlocks are going to be now, but thats another story xD). Thank you for setting this contest up and all your work to bring sites and these kind of things to regular the public.

I'm most excited about the paladin class changes and the whole holy power mechanic. I'm also looking forward to Blizzard removing all the nonsensical stat combinations on low level greens. No more mail with spirit and agility for my lowbie warrior!

What i am most excited for in the cataclysm expansion has to be the new talent trees. The change to the 31-point tree at first shocked me but now i cant wait to try them. One of my favorite pass times in wotlk was testing out new tree designs and with so little points it makes it really exciting. Another reason why i am excited about the change is it will really improve the gaming experience from ten to eighty-five. Giving specs the core of what they are right from the start is monumental. i hate leveling an enhancement shaman and feeling like a crappy elemental shaman until level 46. I really believe that this change is awesome and can't wait for release to play with it.
