So last night was raid night. It went a bit long, so it was pretty much straight to sleep when it was all over. But I stayed up a little later glancing over the log file, and working off the jitters that come from being a raid healer with too many mages in your group. My wife was already out by the time I got to bed (don't you hate people who can fall asleep in like 2 minutes every time?); so I lay there pondering life, going over stuff for work in my mind, and thinking about the 10,000 other things that seem occupy my thoughts when I'm trying to get some sleep.

Anyway I'm finally starting to doze off, and a minute or two from peaceful sleep I'm awakened by shouting.

Her: "Are you going to heal me?!"

I roll over and stare blankly at my wife for a minute.

Me: "What?"

She has sat up in bed, her heart is pounding and she's a bit confused. She wipes her eyes and says "Sorry, I dreamed you let me die."

Me: "Are you okay?"

Her: "Ya I'm fine, it was just a bad dream..."

I looked at her again for a couple of seconds not sure what to say.

Me: "Um ok... sorry I didn't heal you in time..."

Her: "You should be."

So ya, apparently my DPS wake up in the middle of the night screaming for heals after an evening of raiding with me. Some food for thought I suppose. Smiley: lol

I often wake up, covered in sweat, clutching my pillow as the words "DROOD TAKE ******* FORM" echo through my mind. Sometimes I wake up in fetal position, sucking my thumb while mumbling "I can't do more DPS without pulling aggro."

Yes, it's good being an addict.

I actually had a dream once that I jumped off a building (Scryer's tier, maybe?) and tried to change to flight form but couldn't.

I haven't had any WoW dreams yet. Maybe you need a level 50 first.

I have had FFXI dreams before, though.

And I thought I was weird, dreaming about walking around in a military building in stealth.

Then someone saw me, and I casted Invisibility. Instead of wondering how I had rogue and mage abilities, I complained about the sound Invisibility makes and how they had to have heard me. A bit more sneaking and I woke up.

maybe it's a women thing? A friend of mine often dreams about WoW too if she played until bedtime.

Me, I never dreamed of WoW, most of my dreams are either Idol related or ******* crazy or both. Not that I dream often anyways.

Still, your post made me lol. I can only imagine the look I'd have given her if this happened to me. "WTF O.o" just doesn't cut it.

I admit, I had a dream where I had to hijack a plane, and I wasn't worried about crashing it because I could bubble....

You didn't have your hearthstone, thereby you're toast.

I had a dream I was a DK once.

Like I died and the next thing I knew I was crawling out of my grave and Arthas was standing there.

I may or may not have screamed like a little girl and woke up at that point.

I do dream vividly, and remember many of my dreams. But oddly enough, after 200+ days (which I would guess is like many other posters here) of playing time which should provide lots of dream fodder, I don't ever remember having a WoW related dream. Hmmm...

I had a dream the other night about running PoS, only instead of going in on foot my group attacked from the air. We basically knocked Tyrannus off his mount, and then rode it around freezing everything.

It was awesome.

I'm not aware of having wow dreams (well actually, I can't remember any of my dreams).

However, nothing is quite as soothing and sleep inducing as thinking of my baby dwarf running around in Coldridge Valley, picking up his first quests. Calms me right down and works every time.

I had a dream that was marginally WoW related today.

I was walking through a residential neighborhood at night. I don't think it was here, maybe in my hometown, since the yards had grass instead of rock. I was wearing my black trenchcoat and carrying my backpack. At one point, I ran into a guy I knew from high school who I haven't seen since high school. He invited me inside his house to chat, but I told him I had somewhere I had to be, and then continued walking.

Now, after a while, I realized I had no idea where I was going and why I wasn't driving there, so I suddenly said aloud, "This must be a dream. Cool! I'm lucid dreaming! I bet if I put my mind to it, I could make a UFO appear!" Then I looked up into the sky and suddenly a UFO appeared.

But it wasn't a normal one, it was a Saucer unit from Universe at War(a game I've been playing. Buggy, somewhat poorly implemented, but the story alone is worth the $8 I paid for it). So I think to myself, Wait a minute! That's a Hierarchy unit! It's gonna attack me and probably turn me into a radioactive zombie! Suddenly another realization hits me. Wait a minute further. Why did I even summon a UFO?! When UFOs appear in my dreams, the Greys aren't far behind and I wake up screaming. ****! Oh well, gotta do something. I know! I'll use my mage's powers from WoW to deal with this. I can cast a fireball!

So I hold my fist at about chest height, palm down, and then flick it over and open it, so my palm is now facing the sky, and a ball of fire appears floating over it.

Apparently this was the point where the whole thing was too much for my unconscious mind to deal with and I woke up. Smiley: laugh

My ex screamed about bad tanks in his sleep once. He was dreaming about (level 70) heroics, I think.

Part of the reason I started playing again a little under a year ago for a couple of months was that for two weeks, I dreamt about soaring around Shattrath on a Cenarion Hippogryph every night.

But generally for me personally, Pokemon is worse. Every time I touch one of those games, I end up dreaming about them.

Tonight I dreamt about one of those "nuclear fall out causes citizens to turn into zombies horror style" games I've never even played. Talk about odd.

I did have an awesome dream a couple of days back, which was a very detailed lay-out of a map for... a combination of Warcraft 1 and Warcraft 3. I actually mapped the whole thing out in the SC2 galaxy editor and am now trying to find people to help me make up a story so that I can turn it into an actual playable map.

I had one not too long ago.

I am in the process of heading back to university this September (at thirty-six). I feel like it's been a monumental undertaking- applying to universities, getting accepted & choosing which one to go to, applying for scholarships, applying for a student permit for Canada, having interviews for shortlisted scholarships, cleaning the house and getting it assessed to put on the market (my wife can't afford the mortgage alone)... the list has been truly mind-blowing.

So after putting in my student permit application a couple of weeks ago, I went to bed, exhausted. I don't remember all of the dreams, but Dun Morogh university turned me down because I was too old. Goldshire Institute denied my application because I wasn't smart enough. Dolanaar University accepted me, but then Teldrassil Immigration refused to grant me a permit because I was just a stubby little Dwarf and not welcome there.

I woke up more anxious than I'd gone to bed.

...I used to hear the chocobo song in my sleep all the time when I played FFXI... it was annoying even in sleep. I'm pretty sure I've dreamed of something WoW-related, but it was probably a while back and I don't remember vivid details as I don't play as regularly as I used to.

On a side note... it's always hilarious to think of a grown man screaming like a little girl... that scene in "Accepted" where the body dropped down from the ceiling always gets me to Smiley: lol. There were; however, no Hello Kitty sheets in that movie.

I had to google that and found that aside from the T shirts with Hello ****** there's apparently also Japanese **** with that name.

*NSFW* The T shirt/logo *NSFW*
Adding NSFW tags because although it looks like the hello kitty logo, they're still boobs.
