Not my video, but I had to share. Seems pretty accurate.

Hahaha. I had that exact same situation last night. The mage decided to pull for me not even 5 seconds after the healer called for mana. Unfortunately the healer still had enough to keep the mage up.

I do less then 2k DPS with my GS because I get the nexus ********************* and hate it as my Random of the day.
So I just stand there and auto attack.

So that explains why I do less the 2kDPS in my current gear :D

sometimes I also wear my PvP gear, and then auto attack. :D

I'll trade you for my halls of stone everyday. Really. As for the video. I think it's pretty spot on and funny. It's neglecting at least one more personality though.

The "All business guy": This gentleman will not say a word, even if spoken to, the entire instance. Assuming things start to go wrong the "all business guy" will turn into any of the other personalities "except the talker".

I've yet to send it, but I was going to ask a GM if they could perma-lock me out of the Nexus on my DK.
The only days I don't get the Nexus are days I wake up early and decide to get my Random out of the way. But sure as poo the next day-its the Nexus, or if I run a random with a guildie..we get the nexus >m<

Some guildies and I signed up for a random last night, there were 4 of us including a tank and healer so all we needed was one DPS, i.e. very short wait.

When we got into the instance we did the usual thing of saying hi to everyone and buffing up (except for the PuG DPS), the tank then asked if everyone was ready to start, which we normally use to mean firstly has the healer remembered to change specs and secondly have you made sure you're not trying to DPS with a fishing rod, everyone says yes (except for the PuG DPS).

At this point the tank says in guild chat "I bet that that DPS will say 'GoGoGo' soon, if he does I'm leaving group."

You can probably guess what happened next; PuG DPS says 'GoGoGo', and my guildies and I spend the next half hour doing BGs since we've all got deserter debuffs.

Thank god I'm tanking and have enough gear to solo almost all trash in heroics. Smiley: tongue
I see no point in waiting because of that and I'd rather be doing something entertaining than slowly crawling through a heroic for the 1459892809283978908th time.

Well, I stop every pull to make sure I loot the coins and stuff. Gotta have my coins.

Also, I can't pull and alt-tab to here at the same time. Need to spam my AOE, unlike Paladins and Death Knights. If I want to keep my post count on the list, I need my alt-tab as well. Smiley: sly

I confess I'm the impatient starter. Heroics don't need much buffing and you can buff while running.

Vid missed a few types.

1- The annoying critics who have to criticize your gear, gearscore, gems, enchants, buffs, pets, spec, name.

2- The dps meter maniacs who do silly things that stress tank, healer, etc and think that being at the top of the DPS meter is the one and only thing that matters and brag about it too. Yes in 5-man heroics.

3- The "tanks" who think that because they have a 5-piece set of tanking gear and no other tanking gear at all they have become fully epic geared 19K hp tanks and pull like they can solo the place.

4- The tanks that pull like they can solo the place just because they can almost solo the place and end up causing wipes.

I'm totally the "go" guy. I hate sitting around waiting on ****.

They missed out on the ever important drunk tank/healer combo whose only goal is to kill the dps.

Probably the most fun thing to do when drunk.

I am "impatient starter" sometimes. Not always, but if I see hugely overgeared healer and at least one good DPS (granted that's just on paper) I tend to skip formalities and just pull when everybody is in.

What I do have is "just business" attitude. I was called on it once and now I say "Hi" and "bye" at least but unless I am in particularly good mood I won't say much. I tank so I do have to give some info at times but I that's about it. If I type I don't run, if I don't run I don't chainpull which amounts to kicking puppies and burning toddlers nowadays, or so it seems.

Call this bad healers and DPS. Only wipes I've ever caused were because the healer was doing heck knows what while I was trying to move forward and pull big, or healer was bad with DPS not killing things at all really. Don't blame the tank for your wipes because it's your healer who was napping on the job. Paka healing I like it when the tank does pull everything and moves lightning fast because it's way more comfy to heal. Faster, smoother, easier. There just isn't a reason to not do this other then incompetent/distracted healer.

Tanks who pull like they can solo the place would probably fall into the "Impatient Starter" category.

Example:

- Pulling multiple packs with lots of ranged mobs. This is only really a problem if you're running with DPSers that don't understand aggro... almost all of them.

- Pulling multiple packs with lots of AoE fear/silence/manaburn/stun/other... I've had enough wipes at one of the old heroics because of a tank that pulls "entire room" and then the entire group is running around feared repeatedly.
