Okay so im finding myself lately not knowing what i should do next.

Im exalted with all of the new WotLK factions. Im a few dalies away from gaining my tournament champion name.

Basically all i have to do now is Random LFD of the day. Weekly raid. Pug a couple raids if possible. But what do i do inbetween doing those things.>?

Only thing thats been suggested to me in game was go for the "explorer" achieve or the lore master. But im kind of torn on the whole achieve thing. My main objective in game is improving my character and skills. Achievements dont really do that.

So does anybody have any suggestions on something to do:)
I find myself making random mining routes for a few extra ore and farming eternal fires. Is this really all there is to do:(

take a break from the game.
start a new alt.
drop a main profession and power level a new one.
PvP to get all the PvP mounts.
get exhaulted with all the BC reps
roll a different sever/flip to an alt on another faction
go to the barber shop and get a new hairdo
dance naked in a major city for tips
see if you can get your daily random heroic done while fighting naked....and not have the group kick you out.

or, take a break.

Possibilities:

1. Level an alt. It can be a fresh way to enjoy the game. Personally, I get tired of repetition and need a break from time to time. I play primarily druid and pally. The two are quite different in playstyle and I use them for different roles, so it's a new perspective on encounters, instances, etc. Try out different classes and see what you like. Even if you drop the toon, it's something to break up the monotony of dailies. Alts are also great for professions. One reason I have several alts is for the professions, so I can try to more self sufficient.

2. Play the opposite faction. If you haven't done so, try out the other faction. It's a fresh way to see the game. Some quests are the same between factions, but lore is usually much different. It's another way to re-experience the game.

3. Play on another server. Try starting up a toon completely from scratch. It's a challenge going back and leveling without the sugar daddy main fronting cash and heirlooms.

4. PvP. Not my cup of tea, but there are hours to spend on PvP. Maybe it's for you.

If you have already geared up as much as you can through Emblems of Triumph you could always start a new character. From your signature, it appears that you currently are playing a warrior. Might I suggest a caster alt. You might find a new character alt that you really enjoy. With BoA gear, leveling one is really simple and fun. Just don't get too discouraged with cloth wearers if you choose to level one. They are a bit fragile at lower levels but once you get to 15+, they tend to be pretty fun.

Holy hell, I was third on to post something. :(

That is just my two cents. Good luck finding something fun.
Edit to add extra comment about me being slow.

PvP/arena would be nice for this, as others have mentioned. How about working on the red proto-drake or soloing some BC instances?

It really depends on what you mean by "improving" your character.

If you're looking to improve your skills and gear, you really can't beat raiding. Organized raiding (a guild) is going to do a lot more for your skills and gear than PUGs will. Nothing like spending a few nights wiping on a new fight and getting feedback from a raid or class leader to hone your game. :)

Some people don't like raiding though, and some people don't have the time for most raiding guilds. There are some raiding guilds that only raid two days a week but still manage to be good (not world firsts, but clearing all content including HMs eventually).

If organized raiding is not your thing, maybe try making groups for the heroic 5-man achievements. And some of those achievements will push your skills at least a bit.

Possibly PVP - BGs and Arena would both force you to develop skills you've probably never used if you mostly stuck to PVE (skills that in some cases are useful in PVE as well).

Organize raids on the opposite factions cities and get your kills on their leaders. See how many lvl 70 raids you can solo.

EDIT: A lot of these have already been posted -- took way too long on the posting!

If you don't have it already then farm the cash to buy the broken hilt - very nice weapon upgrade.

1) Start a thread with the title "bodhi is a weiner".
2) Include somewhere in the post body, "my healer has a first name..."
3) ???
4) Profit.

How much time do you have? I'd say if you have lots, try to join a raiding guild. If not so much, but it's at basically the same time each day, maybe look for a few people to arena with. Other than that, start a new alt, try to refine your gold making skills, etc.

I'm working on Loremaster as a filler before the expansion. So far, doing all the quests got me the Ambassador title. I started working on Kalimdor a few weeks ago with a little over 200 of 700 quests done on that continent. I'm up over 600 now and looking toward moving on to the next area. I gathered up all the Maraudon quests yesterday and googled a nice Walkthrough to finish them.

If you start working on Loremaster, you may want to check out the addons Everyquest (query server for your completed quest list) and Carbonite.

Yes, I finally finished Loremaster last week, about the slowest achievement ever, especially compared to the amount of achievementpoints you get for it compared to the amount of time I invested. For many weeks I have been hunting the quests. The biggest pain at the end is indeed to find new quests. Luckely, the quests given in Instances now do count for the Loremaster achievement. Before patch 2.08 it was not.

I must say, I loved it! I saw every little bit of "The World", loads of places I had never been before.

I felt a forfillment and also an emptyness when I finished all quests :)

So hunting my 36/40 fractions reputation to exalted now ^^

Start grinding your Insane title.

Then you can be like my buddy and actually try to live by the title.

He afk'd during a boss fight in a random with me. All he said was "BRB! **** myself, gotta change adult diaper!"

Good ole' Stevensegal the Insane.

This is why I rerolled on a PvP server, it makes herb harvesting and fishing more exciting. You don't really get ganked all that much since most are out doing instances anyway.

Is that possible? Would you run into the Malestrom?

Have you explored the entire world? 100%?
