Just a quickie. I've decided to come back after a near year long hiatus and was wondering, can heirloom items be transfered to different servers? With all the changes I see and all that, I don't know if I want to either pay to switch to horde, or just start over on a new server for a new experience. Perhaps a pvp server or something. Anyway, yeah, can you send to characters on different servers? I've never bothered to get one so I don't know how it works. Thanks in advance.

My only complaint thus far is the phasing towards "equal" play. The whining and the nerfing has graduated from particular talent/ability nonsense towards this new complete rewrite on what it means to be "balanced". If anything is going to kill this game its the sad state of people in general wanting things their way and only their way. Keep it up and we'll all be pansies with the same number of petals, thrown in an arena and told to pluck ourselves.

You can't mail items to characters on different servers. I doubt you can transfer heirloom items with the paid character transfer but there's nothing on the FAQ that says either way.

You might want to post the question on the official forums.

Unfortunately you can't. They recently implemented a change that allows you to mail the BoA gear between toons on the SAME Server, regardless of faction. So your best bet would be to transfer a toon to the server you are interested in playing, be sure he has all the BoA gear on him and disburse accordingly. I will tell you that the transfers are insanely fast and efficient. Took about 15 minutes for my toon to be transferred. Anywho, good luck!

Also, I can confirm that BoA gear will transfer with the toon when moving servers. Just be sure everything is on that toon.

Yeah, I figured that might be the case but I had to ask, just in case.

Not just the gear. All of those rep enchants you can buy at 80 with enough faction rep(head enchants, shoulder enchants from Sons of Hodir) are BoA and can be transferred between any character. Made hitting 80 on my horde pally so much more enjoyable when I knew I didn't also need to grind out rep on her first. :)

You can transfer a character to another realm with heirloom gear equipped or in their bags and it will be there when you log in on your new realm. I had PvE heirloom cloth shoulders and chest and when I transferred to a new realm I made a point of taking them with me.
