So anybody else find this npc? Maybe im just behind but I had never seen him before. Was playing a horde toon hanging out by the Wintergrasp portal in the Horde section of Dalaran. I saw a gnome npc and /sigh while targeting it. It turned to me and sheeped me and vanished. Today logged in and found a letter from him in my mailbox and a clickable item that allowed me to sheep a friendly player. Used it on a random person walking by and sure enough it sheeped them then the item was gone.

The item I got was called The Mischief Maker.

I ran into to him my first or second trip to Dalaran. I was fishing in the sewers and next I know I was a sheep.

Here's the item.

Completely random. My wife has never found him.

Apparently it's a sort of easter egg that Blizz implemented. Lots of people being sheeped by him according to the comments on wowhead

I like it :)

I had the "Immune" words flash above me while hunting down wineglasses in the inn for my cooking daily once. It said it was from this stupid gnome. I couldn't find him (he had ported out already), but as I was in cat form, I didn't get sheeped.

I DID get a wand, however :D

Friend of mine showed me the Mischief Maker and explained about Manabonk about a month and a half ago. Two days later - BAM! I'm a sheep. But the next day I have a Mischief Maker of my own.

After the next week's raid, a bunch of us were hanging around on voice and I notice the GL standing near the mailbox at the Dalaran bank. So I sheep him. And he just explodes over voice ("Someone sheeped me! WTF!"). I almost busted a gut laughing, with the push-to-talk off, of course.

I got manabonked as well, but never got a wand. I'm assuming (have to read up on it) that means I got bonked by someone with the Mischief Maker, not Mr. Manabonk himself...

It happened to me in the middle of a busy street. I never really realized what it was and figured it was just another random event all my guildies are into, so I kind of wasted my wand. It was fun to have had happened to me, though.

My encounter left me somewhat embarrassed. I was on my main, and in the south bank. *Sheeped* and instantly I go kitty and hit barkskin. I often refer to mages as "Catfood" to my guildies so I blame feral instincts and not the fact I had completely forgotten I was in a sanctuary zone...

You can take the druid outta the wild, but you can't take the wild out of the druid.

As for the wand, I'm dying to figure out a macro that will let me use it surreptitiously at the end of someother casting sequence just to wig out some raid members. The "WTF?!" over vent would be more than worth it.

I got sheeped in Dalaran. I was disappointed that the wand could only be used once though.

I got zapped as I was opening the mailbox. When I got the wand I wasted it on the first Gnome I saw :(

"Only one target can be polymorphed at a time."

Well, duh. It's a single use item. I really should have a chat with whoever writes those tooltips. They write stuff like the line above and fail to include a 'Charges: 1' description.
