Before you decide that, thing what would take you longer - Earning $30 or levelling toons from 0-80...

Never looked back. Took 30 minutes and the re-customization was identical to original character creation.

A few notes:

1. Any faction specific quests that you have completed is lost after faction change. My Loremaster stuff took a major hit.

2. Reputation changes worked seamless. I was Ambassador as a NE and Ambassador after faction change.

3. If you don't have all of the Northrend Flight Points before the change, you will have all but three afterwards. This character had never been to Dalaran (Level 71); I now have a FP there now among others.

Very good experience that I doubt I will do again due to the $$$. I can now play with several of my friends, though.
