We all know what it's like to be in a group where you're on a very important Boss or pull, and the Tank suddenly says something you desperately don't want him to say, or logs off unexpectedly. Am I right? Well, post those here.

We recruited a prot paladin, and we were gearing him up on an easy Hyjal run. We asked if he had FR resist for Infernals on Anetheron, and if he could handle picking up some random adds. He claimed he knew the fight front to back and add duty was nothing (an easier tanking detail than adds on Emalon now) first Infernal pops and vent is like
The following 30 seconds of vent conversation was perhaps one of most humourous moments I have ever had playing wow.
This guy fell apart. I've never really heard panic in someones voice before on vent but that was it, I think he was on the verge of tears it was crazy. Then our bear tank who was kitty dps on the fight just switched forms and tank the rest of the fight and we told the prot pally to just deeps or go afk. Emasculated.

I was the tank in this situation, so it's not a bad tank line, but it happened to me yesterday and I had to share.

As we are pulling Mimiron right when uld first came out, one of our MT's goes, oh **** I just pulled with my chef's hat still on. One of the healers saw he was still wearing it but he didn't say anything. I'm glad he didn't. We still make fun of him for doing that.

I say this a lot in some heroics, also I still get lost in spider wing.
It's funnier when people follow me because I am the MT.
My guildies know to tell me when I wander off, PuGs not so much.

A warrior is kinda like a blender. You can shatter it from a long way off with a gun, or you could even pull the plug so it can't move, but if you stick your face into it when it's moving you're going to lose.

Holds hands up. Done this on my DK tank. Fortunatly it was just the first pull of UK HC and the healer was sat opposite me so I was able to tell him I might need some extra healing.
In Naxx 10 we lost a tank and one of the Pallys said he might be able to take over tanking.
Him "What's the defense cap?" (ok the uncritable soft cap for the puritans)

My current guild only has maybe 2-3 tanks.
1 is really good.
1 I don't know. They joined recently and I've yet to do a run of anything with them.
Then the 3rd... sucks.
This 3rd "tank" my guild has, never marks. He never targets the right mobs. He can't hold agro well. He refuses advise from our best tank. All of this causes a few wipes, usually. It's really annoying and because of this, I've refused to do any runs with him.
So in my case... it's not to much what the tank says. It's what he doesn't do.

Our mt likes to do this on ulduar trash to keep us awake, he's a warrior incidentally. Oddly enough it works really well, lots of parry I guess.
