Man I hope I can log on tomorrow to get one. Was thinking of taming one of those cubs anyway, they may look a little wierd when they get big but it'll be cool to have one as a pet.

I've heard many stories of people being locked out of their account after using one of those and that Blizz tech support for issues with them is appallingly bad.

Not to mention the bear is Bind on Account. So you can send this to characters you create later and they too can add the bear to their collection.

Anyway, how come pets come so well trained? They never run away. Not like my dogs! Leave the door open and they're halfway down the street. We should have obedience schools for vanity pets.

It is nice of Blizzard to go to the trouble, however. I don't fault them for that. But, maybe, next time (if there is one) a little variety would be nice. Say four or five different pets that would randomly be distributed.

A. So you are annoyed Blizzard gave you a free, adorable pet?

B. Everyone has this one out now because they are new. In a week, you will see just as many of the other pets as you do this one.

C. Why should blizzard go through all the trouble of reskinning 5 pets and working out a system to evenly distribute them, randomly, to the player base ONLY to have EVERYONE start ******** that they can't get the one they want and that the X, Y or Z pets are so much better?

Variety is a good idea ONLY if you give the player the right to choose. And that is just too much work when no one expected the gift in the first place.

Suck it up and take your free stuff happily like everyone else.

Sounds like PEBCAK to me. It's really a no brainer to use it. I've been using one for two accounts for months now. Just punch in your numbers and play. Physical security layers are going to become more and more common in the near future.

Bear is cute.

It works fine for me. I would not discourage someone from getting one.

This was great for me! Bear made number 48. That meant that all that was left was seasonal, rep (Skygaurd and Sporegarr), or 1/1000 drops for me.

As I was logging into my alts to collect theirs, I found my Druid had the Red Helper from xmas last year, and it wasn't souldbound! I sent it to my main. Then I got on my hunter, and she had the Green Helper...off tot he main! That made my 50 and moments later I had Stinker in my mailbox.

Thankx blizz for making [Shop Smart, Shop Pet Smart!] that much easier for me!

FYI to all of you. I don't know if he got lucky or what, but a guildie of mine was not able to log on yesterday due to a family emergency. He logged on today when I told him about the Bear and the achievement and he still got it. So if you didn't get the chance to log on yesterday, try today and you might still get it.

It's a really, really cute bear but man does it not look right with my undead rogue.

It's cute how it just sort of sits down while you are in the middle of combat. I got a leash for it. Not sure that I like how it looks like I am almost dragging it around by the leash but he's still cute.

Use it as a distraction. Hold it up and say "Hey, look at this cute little bear," and as the other person coos over it, you attack! Perfect.

I had mine out while I was stealthing around the kobolds around the airstrip. I had a BELF Pally take interest and just as he came up to inspect he got sapped. Good fun.
