I hate to say this posting as a member of the mighty horde, but you are going to get the same thing switching factions. There are terrible players on both sides of the coin.

I dont know how that happened.

Not to long ago (about 4 months) Alliance stomped all over PVP. Suddenly the horde has gone commando.

Interestingly enough, it was about the same time i rolled alliance.

I smell a conspiracy

Play whichever you prefer. Just note: statistically speaking, alliance is on average older than horde players.

Yeah, they seem to, on average, be less competitive in the PvP, but people very so much, either side it just depends on the type of guild you get with whether people work together well or not. I actaully quit horde and went alliance because there just wasn't enough horde on the server I was playing on to get PuGs. I was in a really good guild so I stayed a long time though, they were up doing BT, but I wasn't geared enough and was having a tough time getting there. I'm much happier alliance now, but mainly its because of the guild I managed to get into.

Dude. Premades. There's no point in doing BGs outside of AV without some good people communicating and coordinating together. Otherwise you're just begging for slow wins/losses and crappy honor/hour.

Also, what a time to quit! The expansion is coming out and the rules will be completely rewritten.

Eye of the storm on alliance seems to be the one they have the most trouble with.

Is the concept too hard?

Having played both horde and alliance I can honestly say there is both good and bad on both sides. You will find immaturity on both sides on any kind of server RP.Normal.PvP.RP/PvP. Especially in Trade chat.

Honestly if I were you, I'd try Horde out, also try playing on a different realm type. The player mindset is different on every server, regardless of type. I've found that playing horde on one server can be completely different from playing alliance on that same server, and playing horde on one RP server, can be totally different from playing horde on a different Rp server.

As far as the races go, both sides have both ugly races, and beautiful races. Horde has blood elves who are visually one of the prettiest races, while they also have orcs and trolls, who some may find ugly, but they are visually impressive, undead are ugly, let's face it, but they're ugly in a wonderfully creepy way. Tauren are always very impressive, and not particularly unattractive, unless you just don't like cows.

Alliance has night elves, they are pretty, but strangely built, gnomes are just ugly, though they can be cute too. Dranei are very impressive, some might find them ugly, but meh.. me personally I like tentacles. Humans are just plain, just there, and the males are built like gorillas... go figure. Dwarves are not particularly pretty or impressive, but they are a fun race to play and their jokes are pretty cool too.

I've played all the races, all the classes, at least through the starter areas. I've played on all server types, both sides. I have to say, play what you like. Move around a bit, experiment with different races, classes, server types, and factions. Odds are, experiment enough and you'll find what works for you. :)

Best of luck, hope you find what you're looking for!

You're one of those o-board rejects, aren't you? I can tell from your post, which has all the intelligence of a flatworm.

Seems like Horde usually loses in my battlegroup, but only since patch 3.0.2 when paladins were made into godmode. Alliance has more paladins, they have more godlike ret paladins running around 2 / 3 shotting people without the fear of any sort of counters... who do you expect to win?

It's like when 3.0.2 hit and I did 2v2 as resto druid with a ret pally. The only teams that beat us had ret pallies. Any team without a ret pally was basically dead within 5-10 seconds.

Freakin' disgusting. And all this "balanced at 80" crap is sheer idiocy. All classes are running with level 80 talents. All classes are currently set up for level 80. So all classes should at least have the slightest, most reasonable modicum of balance. Nope. Not even close.
