I've got a noob question. I'm using the old cosmos addons which seem not to be working right, and since the Cosmos devs aren't updating do I need to delete my addon folder or just the stuff in it so I can use new addons.
Thanks
Joel

Im not sure if you can just delete the Addons folder, although I might be wrong.

Just download wowmatrix and let it take the hassle out of addon swapping. You can uninstall and update you addons with much swiftness from that.

Wow Matrix

While your answer might be helpful to some who want this addon swapping - it still does not answer the original question - is there another good, quality mod like cosmos?

No, he didn't ask for an alternative to cosmos, he asked if he had to delete the addons folder.

I answered as I did, and also suggested an easier way to do the said task.

Also, matrix will help him find an addon to replace cosmos.

** Edit for capitalization of i.

I also highly recommend wowmatrix, great application.

That being said, if you want to remove all traces of cosmos delete the files pertaining to it (normally c:/program files/world of warcraft/interface/addons) in the addons folder you will probably see a bunch of cosmos_ etc (I am guessing) and you can delete those. You also may want to go to your WTF folder and go through the directories to the savedvariables folder and delete ones there that pertain to cosmos as well.
