I'm sure we've all seen it...At one time or another, we all looked at that one, rich shmuck that got his epic flier before we did, all the while you are riding around on your pathetic little 60% ghetto flier. Yeah, THAT feeling. So with the release of the QD dailies, in addition to the Outlands dailies (QD being on Azeroth), could help get you that mount pretty quick.
But what about those of us who are just down right sick of Bloodelves, their music, the atmosphere that surrounds them, or just bored of running those same handful of dailies from Outlands? I dont know about you guys, but as far as I'm concerned, dailies are a double edged sword. They are mind numbingly easy, the opportunity cost of not doing them is very large, but at the same time they are a great source of income, and for some the only way to get that tricked out epic flier.
Well, today I got sick of doing the dailies, and just decided to go and quest in Shadowmoon Valley. I made my way up to Legion hold to kill some big pitlord hanging around up there. As soon as I show up, all I see is this massive carcass just laying there - someone beat me to the kill. Bored of just waiting for him to respawn, I decide to start killing the Warlocks that hang around the top channeling a spell into those big pillars.
WOW, nice drops! At least 2-3 pieces of cloth, 5-20 silver, A mark of Sargearas every few kills or so, and (maybe my luck today) a very fair amount of potions/scrolls.
Wait..Whoa! SOO easy to kill! Level 67/68 usually so its fairly open for any high lvl to get a piece of the action. I was on my mage, he is well geared (1075 +dmg) but who isnt these days, and I could 2 shot these mobs, I would say they have around 7.5-8K health (approximation of course). Toss on mage armor, and this bad boy: http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=28108 , and I am a pretty much non stop fireball turret
"But wait, arent turrets stationary? Dont you need to run around really far to get to the other mobs if you kills them so fast?"
This is the best part of farming here. For some reason, the mobs respawn really fast - and boy do I mean FAST. 10-20 seconds, they are back, waiting to die.
I spend about 45 minutes to an hour on my QD dailies, it nets me about a hundred gold.
I spent about 2 hours today farming this area, and got around 400 gold from all the cloth, marks of sargearas, fel armaments, pots, scrolls, and other drops that were sold/disenchanted.
All in all, this area is VERY profitable in my opinion.
AND WHO da *** GO N E WHERE BUT SHATT 4 DA BG MASTURS OR QUEL-DEE FOR DA DAILIES LAWL NUB L2P
Yeah, this place is DESERTED 90% of the time, so GG competition for kills. The odd fella will show up there looking for quest help on the elites or something, but it didnt seem like many people realize how much money could be made here. Or, maybe this place isnt a secret at all, and I'm way behind in the times. Bottom line, it made me GOOD money, and relatively fast. It sure doesnt replace dailies, but god damn does it supplement the hell outta them to fill your wallet up FAST to get you that flier, or epic gem/recipe/sword/bag/attention from that hot bling loving NE who will dance for money.
So yeah, I hope this is news, if not, I hope theres at least the one new guy out there that this was able to help.
Cheers

As I'm sure many other healing spec'd folks have found, with herbalism and fishing I can make money twice as fast farming primal water and life as I can doing dailies. Fly over the EP. It's best if you do this early in the morning. Fish the pools of water. Hit the lake right below too, for good measure (if you fish everything, you'll get respawns including more pools of water). Zip over to the Dead Mire. Farm boggies til your bags are full (don't forget to herb-pick their corpses). If you've got a water breathing potion, hit the lake at the top of Terrokar and take out a few eels on your way back to Shat. Pick every herb you see the whole time. The mobs in this route are all level 61-62ish and can be taken down super fast. Very fast gold for those of us whose dailies are less efficient.
