Mount at 30.....Blizzard must've listened to the Alliance crying about running to Scarlet Monestary. The run from Southshore sucked.

Now if only they reduced it to lvl 20 so that you could actually quest in Duskwood. I swear, a majority the questgivers are on one side of the zone, and the quests are on the other side....lol.

It's all good though.

flying from darkshire to sentinel hill is faster than walking, just so you know.

Yeah, but having to fly and run for a majority of the quests in a zone...that is really the only place that does it. Most other zones seem to have a good chunk of quests near the quest hub.

I'm not really complaining, mostly because I love the zone. I level all my Alliance toons through there. I was just saying that it is really the first zone where you feel the "slowness" of not having a mount.

After reading this, I am really happy that my schedule has opened up and I can resume playing soon. Mounts at 30 will be incredibly helpful for my altitis.

Overall, I would have to say this is an awesome patch.

You can cancel a normal mount-up with Earth Shock as well. As soon as the target enters combat, mounting is cancelled. At least, that's how things have worked on my end these past four years.

Yeah, but that won't lock down his school.

I used to do it in world pvp on my mage too... Counterspell a Warlock casting his mount. Start the fight and his shadow school is down. Some of the few times I actually won those fights.

Fool! Even if you lock out the Shadow school, the Warlock will kill you with the power of main fire and the Satan!

Thats not what it says...

Barkskin: The cost of this spell is now reduced by Tree of Life Form

Thats what it says.

Treeform wrote:
Shapeshift into the Tree of Life. While in this form you increase healing received by 25% of your total Spirit for all party members within 45 yards, your movement speed is reduced by 20%, and you can only cast Swiftmend, Innervate, Nature's Swiftness, Rebirth, Barkskin, poison removing and healing over time spells, but the mana cost of these spells is reduced by 20%.

Basically they fixed barkskin to recieve the ToL form mana cost reduction.

Mazra wrote:
So, what, that'll be 12% of base mana minus one... Tree of Life? That doesn't make sense. How do you withdraw one Tree of Life from a mana cost? That's like removing one orange from a stack of bananas in order to get a fried chicken. If Wookiees are from Kashyyyk, what are they doing on Endor?

If you knew how ToL form worked it wouldnt be so confusing to you.

Whoosh.

Mounts at 30 will make it much more difficult to get Exalted with other nations to avoid your own race's mount (IE, Draenei and those stupid elephants). I'm glad I leveled my Draenei Shaman when I did.

Of course, one could *choose* to not get the mount until 40, but eh.

I think they should make regular mounts be Revered instead of Exalted, to be honest. I can't help it, I don't like riding Elephants.

Mounts at 30 is a small Godsend for one reason: Getting to SM. The run there is so freaking long for the Alliance.

Considering the test realm hasn't even gone live yet, you can bet on at least 1 month.

You do know that getting your <racial mount you don't want> early will help you get the reputation for the wanted racial mount easier and quicker, right?

Thanks for taking the time to explain it, but Mizzoulover was right, I know what they meant. I simply wanted to run a lame joke on the way they worded it. Whether you add "form" or not to the sentence, one can still read it as if the cost of Barkskin is reduced by the value "Tree of Life Form." That's what I was getting at. The rest is a silly play on the famous Chewbacca Defense from South Park.

If you say so...
