Wow those are some nice changes. When I clicked on it and saw the mounts at level 30 I thought it was a fake till I saw the link to the official WoW page with it on. And the green gem thing sucks I just spent alot of gold leveling my JCing to 300 ; ;

Thank you! I was just gonna reply saying the same thing. Dread going to Desolace, while I enjoy the xp, I hate running there.

The new stopwatch feature can be accessed via the /stopwatch, /sw, or /timer slash commands. Inputting a time into the slash command will make the stopwatch count down. For example, /stopwatch 1:0:0 will make the stopwatch count down from an hour, /stopwatch 1:30 will make it count down from 1 minute, 30 seconds, and /stopwatch 30 will make it count down from 30 seconds.

I know some parents that'll appreciate this. Prolly a few significant others, too... ;)

And yeah, lvl 30 mounts = teh awesum.

To those complaining about WoW getting "dumbed down": they're making it easier to get to level cap so more people will want to buy WotLK. With BC, two new races gave new players a reason to pick it up as opposed to the basic game. WotLK won't have anything for anyone below 68. Thus, they make it way easier to level get to 70. They also want people to get to experience as much of the current content as possible before they release new content. Thus the removal of attunements, lowering the heroic keying rep requirements, etc. They messed up with Nax; very few people actually saw it, since it came out so close to BC's launch and had a hefty attunement requirement. So... stop whining. The more copies of WotLK Blizzard sells, the more income they have and they can continue to give us the awesome game that we all enjoy so much.

I will totally be waiting to ride those Dragonhawks with my lowbie Belfs. I've been hoping for that for ages! (And yeah, I know I can go and do dailies if I'm that excited to ride one, but it's more that I want to travel on one....I just hope at some point they add a Dragonhawk flying mount.

The regular mounts at 30 thing is all I'm worried about--not like it's a bad thing at all, but it seems like it will make Druids' travel form a little less useful. Still good for the same things as Ghost Wolf, certainly (and better in some ways), but it doesn't seem as if it will be used much for actual travel anymore. I wonder if they will reduce the level for that to 20? 24? If they just leave it at 30, it would be a bit odd.

I wonder how much of this will change...

mostly we take 2-3 warlocks and they set themselves up for curses. The rolling CoS and CoE into one curse is huge. Opens up another CoA slot. I am sure the shadow-dest locks will not mind putting up CoE from now on since they are the ones who really get the most bang out of it. Now why is nature not included in there?

Moonkins are intended to bring the nature debuff. They just won't be able to do it til WotLK.

We had two warlocks tonight and I couldn't even get a CoE for Supremus, despite some epic begging.

SUPREMUS!

The single boss in the game that I fight that CoE gives me the most benefit.

I'm not too happy about the arena points selling the epic gems, at least not off of that bat. I have been saving badges to make a few thousand gold when S4 goes live selling spinels, but NOOO they have to take that away from me!

Also, mounts at 30 sounds fantastic, I will get my warlock from 27-30 without a sweat and enjoy the cool new mount!

That does suck about druid travel form though, it is an instant cast though (similar to ghost wolf (talented)).

I would get a few of those except I know that when WotLK hits, they'll be selling 22 slot bags on the AH for about 100gish :/

You think blizzard put a whole form in this game that is only useful as a level 30-40 "filler"? That was a benefit of the ability, not the purpose though. You cant mount in combat.

These things are still useful in many situations, especially when you want to flee, or run a short distance. Even if they become less useful, it's not like you're gonna lose in any way.

Unless, as said above, you're a 39 twink. But who cares about them? :)

I put in the effort to get my Thalassian Charger because i'm a BE pally and there's no damned way i'm riding around on a chicken.

It's the best looking mount in the game, imo. At the time i was doing the quest chain, i hadn't got the key to the back door of Stratholme either and it's sometimes hard to get a decent group for that instance with everyone so excited to get to outland. My advice is, try farming some thorium in burning steppes; it sells really well. And start collecting the materials early, from around lv 50 or so to get a good deal. Especially on the pristine black diamonds, those can cost an arm and a leg.

Travel Form and Aspect of the Cheetah/Pack was never meant to be placeholders until you got your mount. They're useful combat abilities that allows the class to outmaneuver other classes. That's why Aspect of the Cheetah/Pack and Travel Form are castable in combat while mounting isn't allowed.

You can cancel a normal mount-up with Earth Shock as well. As soon as the target enters combat, mounting is cancelled. At least, that's how things have worked on my end these past four years.

Thanks for taking the time to explain it, but Mizzoulover was right, I know what they meant. I simply wanted to run a lame joke on the way they worded it. Whether you add "form" or not to the sentence, one can still read it as if the cost of Barkskin is reduced by the value "Tree of Life Form." That's what I was getting at. The rest is a silly play on the famous Chewbacca Defense from South Park.

No, unless you were stupid enough to change to CoE everytime you cast Immolate, you never had the change curses to do more damage. This will really not afect PvP at all quite frankly, as usually in PvP Warlock will use CoA, maybe CoS, if they are a Fire Destro Lock than they use CoE. However, we never really change curses around based on what we're casting, it's a waste of time and DPS. We put up the one that will do us the most good and leave it there.

Where this is a buff, is in PvE. Where now instead of having 2 Warlocks gimp thier DPS so that one can boost Shadow and Arcane and one can boost Fire and Frost one can do both. Now when you only have one lock, instead of only helping himself, he'll help your mage too. In raids your warlocks will bring more DPS, allowing your guild to progress better.

Again, this has no effect on PvP and helps everyone out in PvE.
