I thought it was a joke. Mounts at 30 would kind of suck.

How could that possibly suck?

And it is real... sans the filterspawn gag of course.

I just bough a few mounts for a two toons that turned 40. Now my 3 30 toons are going to need mounts Smiley: cry.

Money wouldn't be an issue if the pally mount quest wasn't as expensive as diamonds.

what are you talking about? pally mount quest? this has nothing to do with that. pallys get a free mount at 30.

60 Paladin mount quest, I was describing why I thought it was a bad idea right now: Because I did not want to shell out the dough, but with the tempationg I will. I was making light of my own situation.

I am in QQ mode...then again, I was thinking of switching to some more PvP gear for season 4...

So, atm, I have about just under 60% damage reduction with my current resilience, if cheat death procs, if I pick up some more PvP gear, then I will have around 70% I think, it should be OK...

I don't like the warlock change, but, I guess that is ONLY PvE so doesn't really affect me too much.

The snake trap change is good, I reported that issue a couple of times. At least blizzard does listen to us!

They are making levelling easier, just as I get out of that range on my new rogue, oh well...

Apart from that, very minor patch indeed.

The removal of CoS is the Filterspawn joke, right? Because somebody's joking with that one.

EDIT: ok shouldve read on before QQing :D

The only people that the level 30 mount change may affect in a negative way is level guide writers because they have to reconsider their plans on things. Anyone else should be happy for a new -- and more importantly, much cheaper! -- early mount. I could *never* afford the level 40 mount with my characters unless I stopped to do AH trading, shipped money from another character, or waited extra levels.

As it is, I may very well not have 35 gold at level 30, but I'll definitely have it by level 40.

Yeah, cause it's not like pets actually hold aggro at all now or anything. We definitely need to nerf it further.

What do they mean by that? They are nerfing Shaman!?

I never noticed my lightning overload proc were dealing "excessive" damage.

They are making Lighting Overload scale correctly when used with downranked Lighting Bolts, just like other class's spells and abilities do.

sheesh, with mounts at 30 and the other changes... seems like Blizzard is on the fast track to dumb it down like SOE did to EQ...

Mounts at 30 are a big deal because a lot of quests in the 30-40 range are basically just running back and forth across huge zones. If anything these quests should have been held off until mounts were available or make mounts available sooner.

So it's not gonna be 50% damage if you use lvl 2-10 lightning bolt?

I'm not 70 yet but I never downrank my lightning bolt since it's my main damage ability. So it is in fact a nerf on lower level shaman.

Not that I care that much but with all the QQ about Shaman being gimped, this was not really needed. Unless the damage was higher than what the tooltip says then
yea I guess it's ok and it's more a bug fix but like I said; I never noticed a bug with lightning overload.

No. There's a bug with LO that makes it so ranks 2-10 LB can proc an additional bolt that does more than 50% damage. It's a bug fix.

Oh ok, that's fine then. It's the "excessive" part that kind of bothered me. They could have said "fix a bug with.." They make it sound like it was overpowered and they were nerfing it.

Thanks for the clarification

Thats not what it says...

Barkskin: The cost of this spell is now reduced by Tree of Life Form

Thats what it says.

Treeform wrote:
Shapeshift into the Tree of Life. While in this form you increase healing received by 25% of your total Spirit for all party members within 45 yards, your movement speed is reduced by 20%, and you can only cast Swiftmend, Innervate, Nature's Swiftness, Rebirth, Barkskin, poison removing and healing over time spells, but the mana cost of these spells is reduced by 20%.

Basically they fixed barkskin to recieve the ToL form mana cost reduction.

Mazra wrote:
So, what, that'll be 12% of base mana minus one... Tree of Life? That doesn't make sense. How do you withdraw one Tree of Life from a mana cost? That's like removing one orange from a stack of bananas in order to get a fried chicken. If Wookiees are from Kashyyyk, what are they doing on Endor?

If you knew how ToL form worked it wouldnt be so confusing to you.

Rogue
Cheat Death: This talent has been rebalanced significantly. Killing blows are no longer 100% absorbed. If the Rogue is below 10% health, the killing blow is still completely absorbed; if the Rogue is over 10% health, enough damage will be absorbed to reduce the Rogue’s health down to 10%. For the following 3 seconds, damage is not always reduced by 90%; it is now reduced by a maximum of 90%, depending on how much resilience the Rogue has. The damage reduction will be four times the damage reduction resilience causes against critical strikes.

Having seen blizzards previous attempts at monkeying with hunter shot mechanics, I'm very interested as to what this will actually mean.
The KC bug will now lock out steady shots instead of auto shots? :P

A couple of friends and I are doing the lvl 60 Paladin Mount quest, and it is both expensive and takes far too much time and bother for the return. It's about as cheap and a hell of a lot faster just to buy the lvl 60 riding skill and mount.

Make you wonder why people still bother with.

I mean, the mount cost mana and since it's a spell that cost mana, making it much less effective than a normal mount in pve... and it can be interupted (Used to love earth shocking a paladin trying to mount up in world pvp... starting with your holy school locked was a pretty bad start).

The warlock thing is so badass it makes my head spin. None of our other locks on curse duty now, as I am the token affliction lock and the only one with malediction.

As for your quote Mazra, I am a tad dubious as I cannot seem to locate where you quoted it from.

It also has to be fake as I do not use fire spells. Searing Pain for 10 rage? Definitely fake.
