PsiChi is one of the very few who would get my character names - FrociaCotura (priest) and OMGFierce (rogue). My bank is MsFierce. A friend and I are starting new characters together this weekend and my guild told me to stop naming things fierce so I have Yasmina now. (I think "HotTrannyMess" might have gotten me reported.)

Oh - for those who are curious - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_Siriano

Smiley: lol

One of my friends went to school in London with Christian, and apparently Bravo didn't need to do any editing to make him look like a pompous ***. He used to tell his professors to **** off because "he is a fashion god and they should be happy to have him in class."

But damn could that kid sketch...

Damn it, now I need to start a hunter named TimGunn and name the pets Andre.

Apparently we are not alone. I love that there's a level 70. Oh, and all my fierce characters are naturally tiny waif blood elves.

Necro means dead in Latin...

it's actually greek. nekrós = corpse.
but "bene gesserit" is latin, it means something like "she will have done well" but is quite hard to translate exactly.

my warlock is called Cursor, because he curses people Smiley: lol
my druid is called Schnurr, german for purr. she's feral, yes Smiley: nod

edit: "for" is not "fur", the context made me do it! Smiley: lol

My Shaman alt is named Shamanigans. I felt it was creative :)

The rest of the names are mostly reused or a reference to something.

Aureliano (Human Paladin, NE Druid): Character in Gabriel Garcia Marquez's "100 years of solitude"
Naoki (gnome mage): Japanese group that made a lot of DDR songs
Noaki (gnome warlock): Just renaming Naoki so my guildies recognized me
Buendia (all my hunters end up with this name...): Last name of Aureliano.
Lockecole (Well, duh. My dorf Paladin): FF3 character/pen name
Nathanos (BE Paladin): Named after the Blightcaller in EPL.

Nosfetaru was my favorite FFXI name, for a Taru BLM. Also had a Galkan WAR named Tirmindus that I liked. That would work for a Tauren now that I think about it. So far I haven't come up with any WoW names I really like, although I have a PLD alt named Vambo that is starting to grow on me. Alex once described Vambo in an interview as a cross between Spiderman and Santa Claus who looked after the children caught in the violence of Northern Ireland, that sounds like a PLD to me.

Anyway, some of my favorites:

Aphraleigh - Dranei hunter - a nod to Aphra Behn, a medieval author

Vek'nilash -
Fauvette - Dranei Mage. Means tawny in French

Lightbringer -
Joujou - another Dranei mage. Means toy in French

See signature for details.

Most people either love or hate my paladins name, and if anybody ever reports me, I'll just change it to Healmenoob instead.

Let's just say I suck at coming up with *good* names.

Raglu: Undead Fire Mage
Eelias: Undead Discipline Priest
Kurria: Undead Combat Rogue
Qi: Blood Elf Protection Paladin
Rogthu: Orc Elemental Shaman

When abbreviating, Raglu becomes Raggy or Rags.
Eelias becomes EE (which always reminds me of Metal Gear Solid 2)
Kurria is Kur, Qi needs no abbreviation, and Rogthu has never been addressed by an abbreviated form of his name yet.

Almost. You can't have the same letter three times in a row.
