If they increase the text's size (I believe the current size is the old size), they really need to change the font style. This is Tahoma or something, right? Definitely need a modified/thicker Verdana if you're going to increase the size of it. (Edit: Now it looks like a Verdana again. What am I smoking?) Or make the background color darker. That would solve the contrast issue and make it easier on the eyes.
Colors are a bit off, in my opinion. Look at the game's logo and go from there. That's what I'd do. I don't have a problem with darker colors, though. I know a lot of people do. As long as it's easy on the eyes and in line with the game's atmosphere, I don't have an issue with it. The current creamy stuff is neither good for the eyes or anywhere near related to World of Warcraft.
Finally, increase the left and right margins. On a 19" monitor I have to turn my head to read the entire post. Very annoying.
