Ever have those times when you are half-asleep, grinding, or doing (insert mundane repetitive boring task here), and suddenly something happens and you just crack up laughing?

I call those, Random Moments of Humor, hehe. I just had one earlier in fact.

Here I was, in Feralas killing Gordunni Ogres for that stupid quest that wants you to kill 8 Brutes, 8 Shamans and 8 Warlocks.... only the stupid Warlocks are only like 1 ogre here and there, so I end up killing 50+ ogres hoping to see an ultra-rare shaman or a warlock.

I came across a hordie (I'm playing my Alliance Shaman) and he's fighting this ogre. He's a fellow shaman, and so I watch a moment, and then he kills his ogre, and his Searing Totem attacks a nearby ogre, and...

Gordunni Brute says: "Raarr!!! Me smash Searing Totem IV!"

I dunno why, but I just cracked up laughing at that, I couldn't help it...

I swear, I SO wanna macro something like that, haha.

My Druid Healer friend in a BG tried to avoid backstabs/ambush so he went to LM and slowly backed up. I look the other way, next I hear "oh ****".

He launched himself off LM, following him was the MC'ed troll warrior. Followed by a bubbled BE Paladin.

I just couldn't help but think of lemmings, made me giggle.

I've noticed that mobs that say your race, if aggroed by a pet, will say the pets names, which comes off strangely.

I was fighting some undead pirates in Wetlands on my hunter when they exclaimed "Oh, a Hobbes for me to kill." I guess they get those a lot.
Smiley: lol

My girl and I were questing at Redridge and we found our target Thazril'dun (I hope I go the spelling correct).

He's hidden in a small area at an abandoned keep.
One side of the area is a sheer cliff but there is a log there (perhaps to prevent people from accidentally falling off the cliff)

After a hard fight, Thazril chickened out and ran but he died to our DoT right behind the log.

Well, my girl who was healing me behind was so excited that she ran forward and jumped over the log to get our quest loot. Well, she did managed to jump over the log.... just perfectly down the cliff as well =P This was followed by shirks or terror and then laughter =)

She managed to survive the fall. So I jumped after her as there were mobs down there. We fought off the mobs, healed up and fought our way back to the top. By then, Thaz revived and we had to kill him again. This time, we made sure he stayed away from the cliff =P

It was a small 'accident' that spiced up our otherwise regular day out in the wilds of Azeroth.

My friends hunter named a pet "Myself" and spent about 4 hours killing Alterac valley ogres.

Tonight, during Kael, our raid leader dropped a Pony Keg. Of course, we all took part. When Phase 1 started, our anounce was drunk.

"Thaladred setsh eyesh on ..."

Lol, those are awesome.

Mine aren't generally quite as good...a bit more random... but last night while I was leveling my baby druid in Teldrassil, some lowbie asked for directions to Darnassus in general chat, and I obliged. Pretty much just take the road west as far is it goes.

Then another lowbie decided to argue with me. "duh, no, u go east as far as u can." "What? No, it's west." "lol! no u go east and then u swim around and u have to teleport." "Erm... " "idk why they make that city place so hard to get to."

Guess who got dropped off the Tree when she was a baby? lol. I was laughing so hard I could barely reply, but I eventually taught her how to use the map....and the road...

Haalum <Corruptor of Air> in Shadowmoon Valley is a quest mob with a few totems around him. While destroying the totems I got a 'dodge' result on one of my melee swings. Very agile totems /nod

I had just gotten my epic flier and was feeling pretty bad ***. I was doing the bombing runs in skettis when an owl came after me. I had already died once to them because I figured my epic could out run the little punks but they have that move that makes you move really slow. This time I figured I would be safe and got away. Was still way up in the air when I decided to switch from track humanoids to track beasts to see the owls. Right clicked on the icon to switch and my mount disappeared and I went falling down to my doom.

This add on, I have, shows the icons in alphabetic order. The epic flier has a different name so it changed the placement of icons I was accustomed to. Being a DA and not paying attention, I clicked on the flier icon and turned it off.

It was so stupid I had to LOL. Someone /w'ed me and said that they couldn't even see the owl that must have knocked me off my mount. I told them it was a new type of owl that had prowl.

One time, I was doing Arathi Basin with my Warlock, who was then somewhere between level 30 and 39. I was attacked by a warrior while I was defending LM, and my instincts told me to fear, since he was mauling me pretty bad. Fear worked, he started running towards the cliff, he got out of fear and ran down the cliff.

Another time, my Dwarf paladin, who was level 28 at the time, was fishing in one of the Barrens Oasis, and I decided to wear "civilian" clothes, just for the heck of it. An undead warrior, level 16, attacked me, and I beat him to death with my fishing pole, while his two friends were watching. This resulted in his friends applauding me, and bowing before me, which almost made me fall off my chair laughing at the poor unfortunate warrior.

I also just LOVE random moments of stupidity (on my part, or of other players), like rogues who forget to stealth while asked to sap something, healers who back up into a group of mobs, warriors who intercept the completely wrong mob and, of course, warlocks who have themselves soulstoned, and after a wipe, the self-resurrect by accident, which means that they die two times in the same fight. These moments of stupidity are even more epic when, despite the giant stupid mistake, the group still manages to survive with minimum damage.

my dumbest and probably funniest that I can think although no one else will really thinks it is...
I just recently broken my shoulder and I was at home on some pain medication playing wow.. Anyhoo I was in winterspring and had to go afk for a minute so I went into some trees and hid there. When I came back I went to move out of the trees but forgot the direction I needed to go since there were mobs surrounding the tree. As I was turning to get my bearings straight I thought a mob or something came at me through the tree and I fricking jumped back almost knocked my chair over... Since I scared the crap out of myself and jumped back so violently I tweaked the crap out of my shoulder at which point I was in agonizing pain.
I started laughing almost instantly at my stupidity.
I never thought it was possible to be in so much pain and laugh at yourself at the same time.
Um yea so I scared the crap out of myself in wow heh

I joined a pug for Sunken Temple and we were working on killing undead guys who form that shield around the boss. On one of them I notice the mage pretty much got one shotted which confused the hell out of me since I had the miniboss glued to me.

After the fight we learned that the mage missed the turn off and continued down the hall. And thought the group of monsters hanging out was us. So he ran right up in the middle of them...

Needless to say we teased him the rest of the run about going native on us.

I joined an AV with a guildie who's priest just hit 70. We get to FWGY and are attacked by 3 horde, a druid(healer) rogue and warrior. The tauren druid gets mind controlled by my priest friend, who promptly gets turned into road kill by his fellow melee teammates. We then finish off the warr/rogue easily while we LOL at them.

Trying to get *one*last*instance*run* in late at night, falling asleep. It was Maradoun(I think) and I remember getting really tired and I kept nodding off. Well I wake up the next day at my home point, and low and behold, somehow I finished the instance. I hope I helped a lot.. Smiley: lol

I should mention this was on my paladin as main healer.

Some of these are really good.

I was doing arena against a mage/druid combo with my warlock friend and my hunter. We're just thinking of getting our 10 games in although we are still very competitive when we play.

Anyways, we get in and start the fight. We can only see the mage, so we try to DPS her down asap. Out pops the druid for heals and its a totally different fight.

We finally get the mage to drop after the lock fears the druid, but I die at the exact same time. So, its just my lock friend and a resto druid to go.

What proceeds is me laughing so hard I had to leave my room. The druid had close to no DPS and my lock friend was oom. So he lifetaps a few, fears, dots, and keeps wanding. The druid pops out, heals, and gets back to bear. My friend lifetaps some more, fears, fears, fears, and bandages again.

My friend bandaged 4 times before the druid finally took him down. I kept watching all excited like for a possible win but the fight takes so long I just start laughing and laughing at my buddy trying his darndest to no avail. It was gold.

P.S: The druid finally got smart after the fourth time and shifted out for a moonfire before the fear.

Well, I did something pretty stupid the other night and I just had to laugh at myself. We were in Kara and we had cleared all of the essential bosses including one shotting prince (A lot of luck with the elementals this week). Anyway we come up to that high co-ordination fight that is Netherspite.

We had wiped a couple of times because the some people aren't used to the fight and couldn't get the idea of intercepting the beam right. Anyway, we are ready to go, the MT tells me to MD and we are ready to go. I am not quite sure how it happened, but I completely forgot to MD and charge in with 'Leeroy Jenkins' style enthusiasm.

Pretty soon we have one dead Hunter. Normally, I don't like the term Huntard because for every bad Hunter there is a good one, just like every other class, but I was definitely a Huntard in this case.

I copped it from the rest of my guildies when I logged on the net day as well. It won't be happening again.

Clearing trash before VR and we like to sap the sole humanoid so that the mage (me a lot of times now) to sheep it nicely. So everything goes well and we were clearing trash like well oiled raid machine is supposed to. The rogue then starts shuffling towards the mobs past me (I position away from the raid so I can go in sheep and continue) unstealthed. I was about to say something on vent when he got too close and got himself killed.

we had a nice laugh on vent. I said I wondering why you started approaching them without stealth on. (>.<")

Happened tonight in SSC, yeah you all know where im going with this.
We wiped on a trash pull because we accidently aggroed a collosus and we all start running back. Earlier the RAID LEADER was warning us about the elevator and to wait for it. Well....he didnt wait, and suddenly all on vent heard our brilliant leader swearing and laughing as he fell to his inevitable death, cursing the very elevator he so thoroughly warned us about.

Everyone on vent enjoyed a laugh at his expense, as we often do.

You were most likely dropped from the group, and then was automatically ported to your home.
