- I mean..what the hell?
I mean..what the hell?Follow
Ok...A couple days ago I did my regular routine. I rode ma wolf up to Stormwind, rode in right into the city and rode all around it a couple times. I vanished, walked around ganking some lvl 40+ guys and vanishing again (i never kill guys under lvl 40). I unstealthed around newbs in unguarded areas and danced and attempted communication. Then,after I was almost done with my fun, I stealthed right into the trade district. There stood in the plaza a lvl 64 mage (Im 70), and putting by putting on all my buffs and such i critted him with ambush and killed him in a couple hits after. I then sprinted right out of there and got away. Later, when I logged on, an admin messaged me about a complaint from that very same mage, and temporarily banned me for 3 days. I mean, this is rolepalying...the alliance and horde are at war..I can't go intot heir city and gank a couple high levels?? What are your thoughts on this?

Too bad for you, mate. Last night I rode into IF with my tauren dr00d, killed some NPCs, killed some unfortunate players with PVP on, (playing on a PVE realm).
Then Tinker Town...SW City. I devastated the old town, SI:7, almost cleared the cathedral, some more players killed. Then all the SW city started looking for me.
Damn, that felt good! However, no complaint received for my...activity.

Yeah, i mean, people go on city raids and town raids all the time. Blizz can't honestly not notice what happens in Xroads or Astrannar. The Horde and Alliance may not be at open war, but they are not getting along by any stretch of the imagination.
I've joined raids to Astrannar and Westfall, we kill some people and NPC's, high lvls come, we kill them, too many high lvls come, its time to go. And look on Youtube, you'll see people smashing apart IF and SW, killing the faction leaders. You get freaking honor for killing Bolvar or Magni.
So, idk wtf happened there. Probably just some whiner.

As long as you weren't exploiting something (ie. standing on a roof that you have to Cliff-Walk to get on) or breaking another rule of the "Hilda" there really isn't any grounds for a ban, other than the (paraphrased) 'We reserve the right to ban anyone for any subjective reason' section.
As long as there's nothing else going on with this, contact Blizzard and request that your statement is forwarded to a Supervisor. There's nothing worse than a whiner who cries about their own mistakes and demands that someone else fix them for them.. but when someone else legitimatly made a mistake they should be held accountable for it. Blizzard gives out free days of playtime all the time. Looking back at my account history I'm sure I have over a month of "Freebies" from downtime, glitches, and what not. Most of them were credited without me ever knowing about it until it showed up, but two days were from when I complained about them sticking a broad IP-Range ban (or so they explained it... sounds like a pretty newb thing for them to do if there's any truth to it) on my ISP because of one of their clients... The first level guys are really great for getting stuff done and helping with problems, but when it's an honest GM mistake, they're useless. Skip them and go straight to the Supervisors.

Somethin sounds just a tad fishy here. First off, alliance players do it all the time in Org and other Horde cities, over and over and I don't hear about them getting suspended for engaging in world pvp. Secondly, isn't this the same rogue you let someone else play who then let some other person access that you don't even know? Lots of "funny" stuff going on with this particular account it seems like.

I dont know if thats the full story myself. They must have tryed to justify the temp ban to you? What was the technical terms they used did they say you are banned for harrasment?

How honorable to not kill under 40 at 70 - when you steal candy from babies, do you only steal from 6-12 month olds to keep those fights fair too?

Sounds like there's more to this story then you claim - they don't just suspend you for gacking or even newby nuking - as others noted, there's more to this story.

hmm if you are on a pvp server then i guess that mage was an !@# and he should go ***** himself and QQ just because pvp happened on a pvp server. if it was on a pve server then i guess its ok right? horde and ally are at war and noobs who don't want to be involved in the war should not play imo. i think u had the right in this situation buddy.

For fun I saw SW being attacked by a rogue. So I log on my lvl 26 lock for the fun of it. I turn on my flag and stand in the middle of trade. He ganked me and instantly got jumped by my 20 stelthed guildies.

Trying to cross faction talk is an exploit, ive been banned for it myself.
