I know, but it's still weird that a guy locked in a cage in an ogre stronghold is willing to sell me an engineering schematic.

...That after a long run/flight to a location (that can get pretty boring) just when I engage the enemy I've been looking for, my wife always comes in the room and wants to talk to me. Its always at that point when the fight begins too, so that I can't really divide my attention. This always leads to the "You're not paying attention to me" speech. (and its almost always about some story of someone she works with that I don't even freaking know....) Of course, I can always choose to just die, but then I have to go through that long run again from the graveyard....and she's only going to start yakkin' once I rez anyway

Man this could be its own thread! Of course my girlfriend comes up and starts to talk to me during the most stressful times.

Which, if yours is like mine, evolves into the "you care more about that damn game than you do about me!" argument.

Followed shortly by the "that's not ONE of your hobbies, it's your ONLY hobby." argument. This one can be particularly hard to fend off.

...I read a post somewhere once called "wolves with pants"somewhere, and I found it quite interesting. The gist of it was how can a creature that would have no nead for certain things have these items on them? I really had to wonder that when I killed a wolf on one of my low level characters a day ago and got some gauntlets and copper coins out of it. Its a wolf, for pete's sake! Was he wearing gloves? Was he carrying lunch money?

Because he might have eaten someone wearing these pants and you killed him before he actually digested them. that's logical.
What is weirder is that the Silithid Heart has a 5% drop rate from the Silithids. Now THAT'S weird.

I get challenges all the time from 66-69 rogues who think cloak of shadows is a free kill on casters, and that killing a 70 will get you mass kudos. come back when you can DPS me down before it runs out, and wont complain about me using netherweave nets. On the other hand i had no problems losing to a 69 shadow priest, (may or may not have been twinked for 60-69 bracket) who /bowed afterwards.

Why izzit most bad players are sore losers, yet never learn to get used to it by 70?

Where do you hang out that you get duel challenges all the time? If you're standing outside a major city doing nothing, then you'll probably get a bunch of duel requests. Its like the unwritten law of dueling, if you want to duel go hang outside Orgrimmar.

Now, I challenge people alot and accept any duel, you'd be surprised what you can learn about your class or other classes, even if they're ~15 levels above/below you.

BTW I've beat 70s on my rogue at 60. Mostly warlocks. It just came down to how many stuns get resisted, if they resist alot I lose. I was moderately twinked for 60 AV. I don't understand why everyone thinks duels are the devil on this site. Now at 64 I beat them much more consistently (far less resists). At 66+ I don't expect to lose ever, because I keep my toons extremely well geared/enchanted when leveling. I also know the warlock class inside out, and I know everything they'll do to try and stop me from winning.

Why izzit a quest (cant 'member the name) asks you to go collect 6 spider legs, and you have to smush on av. 10-15 spiders? C'mon, they have 8 legs each- surely the law of averages dictates a better drop rate?

Haha! I feel ya, man. Its like that quest in Westfall where you need goretusk snouts. How can you possibly NOT get a snout from a drop? What did I do, kill a headless pig?

I seem to recall a quest where you needed Basalisk brains. So many empty heads it's rediculous.

They just asked me to tank heroic Crypts for the daily." And all of a sudden, Vent explodes with people saying stuff like "lol omg he asked me too!" We had 3 druids, 3 warriors, and 3 paladins...he asked every one of us. He even asked me twice...asked the EXACT same thing...like he had it to a macro or something :O

He probably copied one message asking if you'd like to tank then did a /who 70 Warrior, Paladin, Druid, etc. and just copy/pasted that to everyone. I don't do that at 70 but if I'm a healer away from say a RFC run then I might /who Priest 13-17 and send the message to each one at a time if they're not in a Battleground or instance. I try to make the message clear and polite, and not send it to the same person twice. I also try to reply back to no answers with no problem, good luck questing or something along those lines.

Probably at Ironforge. There's a little glitch outside their bank that lets them duel inside the main city.

Same here, except I usually start with "If you're spec'd for it..." as I hate getting tells asking to tank when I'm balance/resto spec'd.

I get this as well, except half the time it's when im talking to my best mate over vent (as he lives like 16 hours away from me).
Every time he starts to talk my girl will start talking, then I end up having to ignore one of them, which I absolutely hate.

Why izzit...that mobs don't drop level appropriate gear in Azeroth? If I am level 20, I want the level 20 mobs I am fighting to drop level 20 gear, not level 12 gear.

And on top of that, why izzit that most of the lower level crafting gear is absolute crap? My level 30 warrior is making *white* iron bracers to level up on. They really should revamp all the lower level crafting recipes. And unless you get fed mats from a higher level character, it's nearly impossible to keep at the right level of crafting gear for your current level.

At least they got it mostly right in Outland, with mobs dropping correct level gear and crafting items being the right level range.
