Converting TGA screenshotsFollow

What program do you guys use to view and convert your screenshots? So far I've been downloading 30-day trials because I really don't want to pay a hefty fee just to convert my WoW screenshots.

If anyone knows of a program that can convert the TGA files I get when taking screenshots that would be great because I want to blog some of them and email them to friends.

I use a program called Xnview. Downloaded it for free a long, long time ago. From where, I can't remember.

Here is a solution that doesn't require a conversion program:

1) hit the PrintScreen button to take the SS
2) open up MSpaint
3) edit--paste
4) save as...(i'd save it as a jpeg because they are nice and small)

Just keep MSpaint open and do that every time you need to take a screenshot.

yeah the only problem with that is that you can only do it one screenshot at a time (I think). But I want to convert a massive amount of screenshots in one go, and that would be really tedious.

Download.com

It's a great site. I use it whenever I need a program for 1 or 2 things. You can find almost anything you need and most of them are freeware or trials.

Isn't easier change option in WoW to save the screenshots in jpg format? I changed to "jpg high quality" and have no problem working on them.

Okay, I'll bite. IS there an option to allow this?

I thought I'd been over the options often enough and haven't seen anything like this.

My pleasure. I found that program a while ago and have always used it. Never needed upgrading or anything.

If there is a way to save them as jpeg, I've never seen it.

Completely my mystake.. I had sure I saw it, but prob. I was thinking about any other game (maybe Lineage II). There's no way to change to save .jpg. Actualy, I always open with ACDSee, modify, THEN I save as .jpg.
Again, I was wrong, sorry.

I use irfanview to view them, which i got for free on zdnet.com. I can't remember if it will save them as a different format or not, though. I have it installed on my laptop, which is just an expensive paperweight at the moment (fried power supply). If it was working, I could tell you if it does conversions or not, but I know it will at least view them.

Irfanview will do the conversion. It'll even do batch conversions.
